Went to Pinders in Sherwood Street,Warsop for my routine eye examination.
I have one every year due to my age.
The Receptionist and Optician gave the usual FIRST Class service and in my humble opinion you will have to go a very long way to find a better one.
You will be searching for ever.

Absolutely amazing service from optometrist Jennifer . very professional informative and friendly and explained clearly what the issues were with my eyes . i was amazed at the amount of detailed tests that Jennifer carried out . ( i had been experiencing flashes at the side of my eye ) i now feel reassured and relieved
I got a lovely warm friendly welcome from the reception staff . exceptional customer service and care.
I got the same expertise when choosing my glasses … so many to choose from and the young staff member was so helpful and we had fun helping me choose .. ( first pair ever)

Warsop branch was the best as always they always go out of there way to help you and would highly recommend them to anyone the 2 ladies that work there go all out on making you feel welcome and to get your eyes 100% again and there massive range of glasses with top named designers are very well priced compared all ill say is if you need your eyes checked go there travel that bit further to get an unmatched service you wont be disappointed

​I am writing to commend the exceptional service I received at your Pinders location on November 1, 2025.
​Following a negative experience with a different high street optician, I visited Pinders and was immediately put at ease by Jennifer. She conducted all necessary examinations and evaluations with thoroughness and asked all appropriate, pertinent questions. At the conclusion of the consultation, Jennifer provided a clear and detailed explanation of my eyesight condition and the results of the retinal scans.
​The service continued to be exemplary at the dispensary. A helpful staff member (whose name I regrettably did not catch) provided excellent assistance in selecting frames, offering knowledgeable advice on lens coatings and polarisation options.
​The entire experience was seamless and highly professional. The service I received was truly outstanding and could not be faulted.

Having had a bad experience at another Optician, I contacted Pinders. The Optician there was first class, and the subsequent result was absolutely perfect. I cannot recommend them highly enough. I will not be going anywhere else in the future

Great staff and fantastic service. Enabled me to gain a real confidence in a thorough examination which I’ve never had from other large chain opticians. Truly personable staff who made us feel special, which is important when you’re in your 80’s!

Massive thank you to Pinders who repaired my elderly dad's reading glasses (they're not even from Pinders, so you really went above and beyond). Fabulous service and Louise on reception was excellent. We'll make sure we bring dad to you in the future.

Mary tested my children’s eyes today at the Southwell branch and she was just amazing with them. She was very patient and put my 3 year old at ease. Highly recommend.

The staff at Pinders are always friendly, helpful and professional. They give excellent optician and dispensing services and look after their customers so well that complimentary glasses retightening and cleaning is always available which is fantastic. Well done and thank you ☺️

Lorry driver average earning. ad go Pinders get diabetic check. usually spend £200 get my prescription from Asda which I never had a complaint with. But I fancied some oversized glasses & thought treat myself. got 2 pairs shelf price £200 each & i get free prescription due 2 being diabetic. Bill once glasses ready near £2000 with a sale price of £1500 but if I took a monthly subscription £15 4 18 months I would ave 2 pay £962.00 plus the monthly payment. People must have money to burn this kind of monies for spectacles is ridiculous. So shelf price plus 400% is what you can expect to pay. Will be sticking to Asda in future.

For some reason I've always found choosing new glasses a bit of an ordeal, not as bad as visiting the dentist, admittedly, but too much preening in the mirror for my comfort. However, my recent trip to Pinders was a fun and positive experience, thanks to Natalie, who, after our initial chat about my general preferences, selected a wide range of specs for me to try on, and used her experience and 'eye' (ho ho) to recommend frame colours and shapes that suited my face. I'll be collecting two new pairs of specs in a few days and I'm confident I'll love them. Thanks for your patience and knowledge, Natalie.

Pinders at Queen Street have a very customer friendly team, putting you at ease throughout your eye examination, right through to having glasses and lens fitted, even alterations, nothing is too much trouble. The equipment is of the latest technology to ensure you have the full eye experience that goes beyond a basic eye test, everything was explained throughout my eye test and contact lens test.

Eye test by Billy was fantastic. Thorough and well explained in a friendly manner. He’s a fantastic asset to your team.

What a fantastic experience. Billy was great, he was very thorough, explained everything & was very engaging. A really good pace, Billy’s patience is excellent, not rushed at all which made for a relaxing experience, making a difference in the fast paced lives we all lead these days. I could even refer to the whole service as therapeutic !

After my test I was then placed with Jo who helped me choose some new glasses, again the experience was relaxed, didn’t feel at any point rushed, I was the customer & the focus was on me, a really professional organization.

My appointment was on a Saturday & to my surprise my glasses were ready the following Tuesday with the excellent Nikon lenses fitted, I couldn’t believe how quick this was ! I was also asked if I’d like a coffee whilst I was trying on the glasses & to my delight it was a proper bean to cup that was really nice.

The practice is really well laid out & everything is quality. The glasses I am delighted with & have been using them ever since.

One thing I must point out is this is my second visit & on both visits I had the scan not just the photo but the scan which is really important as it gets to levels cameras can’t. My first visit something was picked up on the scan, a letter sent to my doctors & within a week or two my doctors rang to make me an appointment. After a few lifestyle changes the second scan was showing the abnormality had gone. Should I have not had the scan I wouldn’t have know so well done Team Pinders & thanks !!!

Popped into the Southwell branch for a repair. Really friendly and helpful staff, fast and efficient service.

When I went into Pinders on Queen Street, I was greeted with a warm friendly welcome. The branch refurbishment looks absolutely stunning, I loved listening to the relaxing background music whilst waiting to be seen. Billy did my eye examination. He was so patient, attentive and explained everything he was doing so well. I really enjoyed my experience and would highly recommend Pinders to my friends and family. They really are service with a smile and they do care.

What a fabulous experience we had today. Steph was so welcoming and helpful towards my mum who struggles with anxiety. She walked her through what was going to happen and answered any questions without hesitation.

I had a full scan and eye examination with Billy I am quite nervous and he made me feel at ease straight away he explained all about the scan which was very interesting and any questions i had he answered .I needed new glasses as my eyes had changed Joanne and Allyson helped me pick and were so helpful .Joanne then fitted them.There were loads of lovely frames. Becky fitted them for me when they arrived and made sure they fit properly and my reading was clear .All the staff were lovely and made it really relaxed and my new glasses are gorgeous
