I bought this for my son who had previously failed an assessment. He says it was very easy to use, covered all aspects of his assessment and customer service was prompt, friendly and very helpful. He would recommend it. He has since passed his assessment.

While the 'Basic' subscription you chose offered only limited functionality and materials when compared with other subscriptions, I understand this may not have been clear at the time.

This website is a scam. To every aspiring pilot, please DO NOT USE THIS. I was able to log in and used it on the day I purchased it. My joy stick did not work on my macbook (mapping did not work) On the next day, i tried to log back in but it says that I was locked out due to multiple attempts. I was so sure I entered my info correctly, aside from it was automatically saved on my laptop (mac) when i created it. Also, I made sure to write down every new log ins and passwords that I create. Tried to reset password and the link that was sent to my email didn't work. I contacted support- no help. SCAM! Every time I try to log back in, it would always lead me to the page where I need to purchase again. waste of money!

I'm terribly sorry about the experience you had in 2020 when preparing for your flying school assessment.
The technical problems you experienced, being unable to access the software and the lack of support were unacceptable, and I understand wholly the frustration this caused.
To prevent such issues from recurring, we built an entirely new platform in mid-2024. This new platform represents a monumental change to both the software and business operations.
The new platform introduces major improvements over the previous version, including comprehensive support for joysticks, pedals and other controllers, robust compatibility with Mac, Windows, iOS and Android, and real-time support, manned by human beings (not AI!) between 9AM to 9PM to ensure pilot candidates get the guidance and help they need.
On behalf of everybody who has worked to build the new version of PilotAptitudeTest.com, I would like to apologise for the considerable frustration and upset that this experience caused.

Tests let down by poor control, awful web design & layout, bad / nonexistent service
I had sought to give myself any advantage possible when completing my online assessment for a pilot position.
PilotAptitudeTest.com do not offer a free trial, so unaware how their online software performs I took a subscription based upon their refund policy which states:
"If you purchase a subscription from us, and decide within 12 hours of subscription activation that this product does suit your requirements, we will provide a full refund"
Upon starting to use their software it became immediately apparent it was of a poor standard, the website is difficult and awkward to navigate, requiring full page use - without this all features cannot be accessed. The controllability of their tests is very awkward and unresponsive, despite the test otherwise accurately representing the actual aptitude tests. Their tests only seem to use cursor / keyboard controls, all the online tests I have performed have far superior control utilising the mouse, therefore unfortunately due to the extremely poor level of control of their software it is pretty useless at practicing for an actual test. Also the instructions for how to control each test were not located with the actual test in question, but appeared in a large pdf file with every tests instructions in the one file, this made finding specific instructions a lengthy and irritating process.
Within an hour I had experienced enough and tried to contact them to get a refund as per their refund policy. I emailed them, I used their live support feature and I also called them (this was on a Sunday so didn't expect a response immediately, or anyone to answer their phone) however my emails generated an auto reply which stated I would get a response within 24 -72 hours. On the following Monday I called and a receptionist said that "all available staff were busy" and she would arrange someone to contact me later. Over a week later and still no response from anyone, I was only able to get a full refund through PayPal's dispute resolution service.
I would either look elsewhere or just perform the short 'demo' of each online test you actually need to do, as many times as you feel necessary until you are confident of performing well on the actual test. On my online tests this was available and was not marked in any way.
This unfortunately just seems to be another small organisation trying to 'cash in' on peoples desire to become airline pilots. Their software which is the only service they are selling is so poor as to be of no use at all, and their customer support and service is nonexistent entirely.
Please heed my advice and avoid.
