I have used this company twice. Used it last year for a service and MOT. Don't know how it got through the MOT because quite a few things were still not working e.g. back light, wing mirror (I'm not a mechanic and know very little about cars but would hablve thought that they would need to be in 'good nick'. I honestly felt that they had hardly done anything on the car. This year, March 2027. Admittedly the car needed a lot of work doing (I told them about the problems with the clutch and back light) but when I got it back they told me the clutch was not the problem that it was something else which would cost a lot of money to fix. They charged me £180 without a breakdown of what they had done. When I asked for a breakdown he did it there and then, very sperficial and very amateur, full of "topping ups". I have now decided to replace the car because I do not think it would pass the impending MOT (next month) and do not feel safe driving it. I feel that on both occasions I have been "ripped off" as someone who knows very little about cars. When I get my "new car" there is no way I will ever use this garage again. Sorry but that is how strongly I feel.

Good before sale, very poor aftercare

The rear seat fault was already present when I collected the car. They spent around 30 minutes trying to make it work before handing it over, which showed there was clearly an issue from the start.

Before purchase, their service was good. Unfortunately, once I had the vehicle, the aftercare was very poor.

The fault only affects one side — the other side works perfectly, proving this is not a seat-positioning issue. Even with plenty of space, the faulty side does not operate correctly and does not behave the same mechanically or visually.

Despite detailed explanations and a video, I was repeatedly told it was due to seat positioning.

They arranged a garage, initially used the boot switch, and billed for diagnostics even though the actual switches I reported were not working. I was first told costs would be covered, then told they would only pay if a fault was found. Now they want to send it to another Mercedes specialist and repeat the process, again leaving me at risk of paying out of pocket.

Very stressful experience. Based on my experience, I would be cautious. The sales process was good, but the aftercare has been really bad

Found this car on line and visited to view. Sales people really nice, liked car bought car. Everyone very helpful, no hard sales techniques, just great quality stock. Guided me through the purchase and bought their warranty as having researched is an excellent add on. Recommended.thank you to all at Phoenix.

I have never bin so looked after buying a car off a company they made sure that I needed for nothing the price was right the stuff was all helpful the car come with a full service they even put all new tires on car for me and give me brand new disks and pads ready in box to be fitted when needed I would really recommend this company to someone looking for a car thank you

Outstanding customer service. We had traveled from Scotland to view some cars at other garages and came across Phoenix car garage the quality of cars are unreal and the customer service we received was impeccable we viewed an Audi Q5 which was over 10 years old and was in immaculate condition. The garage done an amazing job getting it sorted for us to take away the same day as we were really last minute I could not recommend them enough! Ella was amazing also communicating with me over WhatsApp and keeping me updated on everything that was happening whilst my partner was on site viewing the car. Honestly 10/10 service

Despite buying a car that was right at the bottom end of the value of cars that Phoenix RC had for sale, the buying experience couldn’t be faulted.
After enquiring about the car and arranging a test drive, I was sent a full walk around video which gave me a really good overview of the condition of the car (paintwork, wheels etc.)
When I turned up for the test drive I was greeted by Elliot who has a very welcoming and relaxed manner and a no pressure sales technique. We had a reasonably long test drive to ensure that I could try the car on a variety of different roads.
The car came with 6 months warranty which not every dealer would do for an 11 year old car.
After sales follow up has been great from Elliot.
Overall a great buying experience.

My Mercedes CLS was meticulously prepared and I’m absolutely delighted with it. I do have a minor issue with it and they are desperate to resolve this, in fact are chasing me to get it in to rectify this. So this company don’t give up on you after the sale.
Having spent many years in the Motor industry myself, I know it’s difficult to please all the people all of the time, however, as far as my experience, they deserve 5 stars all the way and I wouldn’t hesitate for a moment in recommending them to my friends and family.

Very easy and smooth process. Answered any questions we had in a great way and were very helpful during the entire buying process. I will definitely be recommending this place to people that I know who are looking to get a car and will come back myself if I ever need to switch cars. As far as the car itself goes its impossible to say how it will be in the future as it is an older car but it very much feels like it was looked after here and properly checked and serviced to hand over to me. The workers are cool and normal people too that made the process feel more comfortable, formal when needed and then after that can have a nice chat. Very happy with how everything went

The attention given to us was 100% Maj was excellent, he made sure that any question we raised was answered, The car was excellent and properly valeted, the whole team were always polite, The car was ready when requested and all paperwork completed without hassle. Would highly recommend.

Terrible company - avoid. They suggested WhatsApp to communicate - fine. Asked a load of questions - completely ignored. When I emailed, they told me they didn't know who I was even though they had sent me videos of the car on the same chat and had all my details from the original AutoTrader enquiry, so that was untrue.
Subsequently asked a couple of very reasonable questions including one on outstanding finance which AutoTrader flagged. They just told me that it was aIl fine but provided no documented evidence to support. The rest of my requests for information have been completely ignored - even info *they* offered (PDI - not sure which delivery they are referring to) has not been provided!
The only thing I did get is a request for £500 "deposit" before I'd even seen the car, let alone driven it !
In short, all they were interested in was getting money out of me while they did nothing, presumably to lock me in to buying something from them - I'm not even convinced they have the advertised car as they have been unwilling/unable to supply a single piece of documentation to support it - they couldn't even supply the T&Cs for their own "deposit" scheme.

I had been looking for an S63 for some time and found an excellent example on auto-trader which I then purchased from Phoenix RC Automotive. With their unfaltering communications and willingness to truthfully answer all of my questions is a testament to their commitment in supplying exemplary vehicles at very good prices. When I travelled to view the vehicle, Raj and Ella were extremely accommodating and approachable, making the whole experience a joyful and pleasant one. What an amazing experience we had at phoenix motors. Luke the sales man was extremely helpful with us even though we just popped in he sorted the info and the car at a moments notice, text us every detail and update and went out of his way to help us purchase our car. I have to say it’s been an excellent experience. High five to Luke. It’s hard to find someone in sales who is honest and so friendly.

They were very helpful, punctual and easy to question. They cared for the car and did the service and MOT very quickly. They kept in touch frequently and were very friendly but didn’t push for trade. The delivery was faultless and punctual.

In a very competitive used car sales environment this company stands out on several counts.The very complimentary comments on the review website caught my attention and these guys have lived up to their billing. They offered a competitive part exchange deal, the quality of customer care was exemplary (particular thanks to Luke), they went the extra mile on warranty and they provided great all round advice about buying and selling cars.
Repeat business is the holy grail for any company and I will certainly come back again.
