Ever give up on your dreams

What made my experience great is I have access an email to my professors and I wasn’t always on time, but I made it just in time with my assignments and my post. Forgiveness is a lot. Patience means a lot. And I’m grateful I had the professors that I had and have. I’m almost to the end and I’m so excited!

The style of courses and staff communication

I have had so much positive experiences with the school. I had a long break in between times of attending and during that period I have attempted to attend a full-time in personnel LPN school. I also attended a normal community college and after being at the university of Phoenix in experiencing the other two schools, I realize that I had to come back to the university of Phoenix. It was the best school I have been to it allowed me the flexibility of every day, living with full-time work being a mom and wife, but also the ability to obtain knowledge and do the schoolwork that I need to get done to learn and gain my career as well as communication from staff, whether it’s financial aid or academics, they have all helped me tremendously and I couldn’t be more grateful for a better school. I do recommend the school to a lot of people that talk about going to school or wanting to transfer, I do share it. I’ve even shared it on the platform TikTok and you know to try to explain the people what it’s like. I would say the only recommendation I could provide is maybe give a a video to share as an advertisement on how classes are because when I try to explain the five weeks classes and how the layout is with discussions and assignments and such some people don’t really understand quite as well, but maybe a video advertisement may explain a little better and gain more traffic for people to attend or at least be interested in going to to get more students engaged. Otherwise best school couldn’t have asked for anything different. I mean I would love a little lower to tuition, but I mean for the rates in the school style I’m gonna do what I have to do to attend.

It has been a very challenging online program. Some of the weekly required readings are outdated, dating to the 2010's or 1996. The final practicum imposes unrealistic expectations for securing an MSN ED practicum site that meets university requirements.

A Program That Truly Develops Scholar–Practitioner Leaders

My experience with the University of Phoenix was exceptionally positive. The Doctoral program is intentionally designed to develop scholar–practitioner leaders, and that focus is evident in both the curriculum and the resources provided. From early in the program, I was encouraged to think beyond theory and apply concepts in real-world contexts, which significantly strengthened my confidence and capabilities.

The availability of academic resources, faculty support, and research opportunities ensured that I was not only prepared to complete the program, but also to contribute meaningfully in professional and scholarly spaces before graduation. By the time I finished, I was already operating with the mindset and skillset expected of a scholar and practitioner.

For anyone serious about bridging academic rigor with practical application, this program delivers.

Please don’t enroll in this school‼️FRAUD

Please don’t enroll in this school. They takes your financial aid money by canceling funding for your class and then tell you that you don’t have enough funds to cover the class. They have taken my excess funds and I still have balances owed out of pocket. I have contacted a lawyer about this school. THEY ARE FRAUD‼️

MBA CB Experience - UOPX Class 25-26

Overall, my MBA experience at the University of Phoenix has been positive, and I’m grateful to have completed the entire program within one year. The structure allowed me to move at a steady pace, and finishing in this timeframe is something I’m proud of.

That said, there are areas where the program could be strengthened. Because the coursework is heavily self‑directed and online, I often found myself spending a lot of time trying to understand expectations, assignment requirements, and how to approach assessments. More professor‑led presentations or instructional videos would make a meaningful difference, especially for students who are new to the format. Having access to sample assessments or examples of past work—particularly at the beginning—would also help set clearer expectations.

In terms of grading, I felt that some evaluations in certain course were stricter than expected, and the highest rating I received was “meeting expectations,” even when I believed the work exceeded the criteria. Greater transparency or consistency in grading would improve the experience.

I also expected more interaction with classmates. Opportunities for discussion, networking, and sharing best practices were limited, and at times I felt like I was navigating the program on my own. On the positive side, whenever I needed support, my professor was accessible through email, calls, or collaboration tools, which I truly appreciated.

Overall, it has been a valuable learning journey, and I’m glad to have reached the finish line. With a few enhancements, the experience could be even stronger for future students.

My experience with the University of Phoenix

My experience with the University of Phoenix has been great. I really enjoy the check-ins with the academic team—they make me feel supported and not alone in the process. I also like how much help and guidance the school provides. I would definitely recommend online school to anyone who wants to learn and get started with their education.

That’s kind of hard when you’re trying…

That’s kind of hard when you’re trying to further your education and some pops up either with the financial assistance part or they mess up on your start date. Because as alumni, I really wanted to further continue my education. And when you guys ask if we want to offer somebody else to go to university of Phoenix, I suggested no until this is taken care of.

My experience with University of…

My experience with University of Phoenix has been extremely positive. I recently completed my MBA, and the program provided a strong balance of academic rigor and real-world application. The coursework was structured in a way that allowed me to immediately apply concepts to my professional role, particularly in areas like strategic planning, financial analysis, and organizational performance. What stood out most was the flexibility of the program. As a working professional, being able to manage my schedule while still maintaining high academic standards was critical. The online platform was intuitive, and the expectations were clear and consistent across courses. Additionally, the instructors brought practical industry experience into the classroom, which made discussions more meaningful and relevant. Feedback was timely and constructive, helping me continuously improve my work. Overall, the program helped strengthen both my technical and strategic skill sets, and I feel better prepared for the next step in my career. I would recommend University of Phoenix to professionals looking for a flexible, career-focused graduate education.
