Title: Total failure of Peugeot/Stellantis: From local lies to total silence from the Chairman
I am forced to warn all potential customers against buying a Peugeot. My experience proves that once you pay, you are nothing to this brand, even when they break the law and lie to your face.
The Service Lie (IC West Plzeň): The authorized service in Pilsen charged me 3,500 CZK for a failed diagnostics that solved nothing. When I complained, the service lied to the official Czech importer (P Automobil Import), claiming that I "refused the repair." I have documented emails where the service manager, Mr. Plecitý, admitted they couldn't find the fault and promised to contact me, but then went silent for months.
The Importer’s Ignorance (P Automobil Import): The Czech importer (specifically Ms. Macháčková) blindly accepted the service's lies. Despite being presented with clear email evidence that the service was being dishonest, they refused to intervene and terminated communication.
Global Management Failure (Stellantis): I escalated this to the global level. I communicated with Global Manager David Khutsishvili and even contacted the office of the Chairman, John Elkann. Despite initial contact, they chose total silence and failed to ensure that their Czech representatives act honestly.
It is shocking that not even the owner of the Stellantis holding is able or willing to stop the deceptive practices of his brand’s representatives. A formal legal case has been filed with the Czech Trade Inspection (Case No. ČOI 10406/26/O100).
Avoid Peugeot if you expect any honesty, professional ethics, or customer support.
