Pet Paradise

Pet Paradise - Cary, NC

We took our two labs to the Cary Pet paradise location today. When we dropped them off we were told that they would be out for an hour (either pool or play yard) and then rest for an hour. By the time we got home, it was 10 AM and we immediately tuned in to their webcams. We watched all webcams diligently from 10 AM to 12:30, and almost the entire time, they were all empty. We decided to call the Cary location out of concern but no one answered the phone and we were directed to voicemail (again, frustrating). Finally, someone answered. When I asked if everything was ok because we have seen our dogs out all day, we were instructed that they were in the pool this morning. We were also told that during their "get acquaintance" visit, they were not guaranteed the four hours playtime. Were we not told this when booking the appointment. I told them that I did not want our dogs locked up all day and I would come to pick them up. Once there, the woman at the front desk told me the same story, "they were in the pool early that morning." She also told me that they were in play area 2 for three hours. We watched all webcams all morning, and I told her that was not true. (does she not realize there are cameras in all room). Once I confronted her, she then stated that the dogs are not guaranteed 3 hours of playtime. I asked which is it, they were out for 3 hours as you stated, or they were not because they weren't guaranteed the time. Caught in a lie, she then went silent and refused to acknowledge my presence. When a gentleman brought out our dogs, I asked him about the morning. He stated that the dogs were at the pool earlier, and nothing about 3 additional hours of playtime. In fact, we gave me a report card saying that our male English Lab jumped in the pool, and our female American lab waded in the pool. English labs have a double coat and they are wet for hours and hours after being in the water. In fact, when they come home from their grooming sessions he still has a wet undercoat after being blown dry. Both of our dogs and their collars were completely dry, so we suspect they lied about being in the pool as well. So, if you want a place to lock your dog up for a half-day, or day, with little to no playtime, Cary Pet Paradise has you covered. If you are like us, and you love your pets, run away as fast as you can.

Also, the attitude of the staff is unbelievable. Not one person apologized. Not one person assumed responsibility for locking our dogs in cages the entire time. Instead, they lied about being in the pool and time in the playroom(s). When I said I will pick up our pets because I did not want them locked up the response was, "That's your choice, we'll see you when you get here."

Folks, this is a new business to our community. But their practices, lying, lack of customer service, and apparent attitude are not acceptable. Please think twice before dropping off your pets at this establishment. Find a better way to spend your money and treat your cats and dogs.

This is a big bummer. We have been seeing their ads on social media and we had high hope for Pet Paradise. Today those hopes were squashed. We will NOT be returning and I hope this review helps you make an informed decision.

Customer service can care less $$

Customer service is rude, they laughed and seem very careless about the travel inconvenience they caused due to on employee of theirs providing the wrong information to us days prior. They didn’t try to help or compensate even though we had to reschedule travel and everything about our trip, find last minute vet accommodations which added to the cost and the female supervisor showed little to no care when I mentioned this to her. I spoke with Stephanie from corporate and never got a response back either. I would love to see the cameras actually working to see how they really care for our puppies as in each picture they send our dog looked so unhappy vs when we picked her up. Completely different demeanor. Not the experience I expected

I love pet Paradise it has the been the…

I love pet Paradise it has the been the best vet I have been in to in Sarasota. I have tried four other veterinarians however Dr. Parker is the best her staff is wonderful too. They are very caring and very professional and know what they’re doing. I also love the daycare there it’s fun to watch the dogs jumping in the bone shaped pool running and playing with all their buddies. I would highly recommend pet Paradise it is number one in my book! I have also joined the pet care plan it is wonderful so worth it!

excelent service

excelent service. i was able to keep an eye on the cameras and I saw how the people who cared for them kept the place clean and showed emphaty for the dogs. I will not to hesitate to leave them on the site again. also the price seemed excelente. thanks pet paradise.

Bad customer service overall bad…

Bad customer service overall bad experience, been there for the 1st time customer services was horrible no eye contact very dry and un respectful, our 8 month old Vizsla puppy was in the crate for 4 hours, they advertised tour and meet staff once there no one offer the tour, no friendly at all they just took our dog and put him on a crate they asked if we want to do the $3.00 ice cream that he never get... when I went to pick him up they were asking me for .20 cent ??? I didn’t understand I asked them do you guys offer the tour ? Or services ? They said to me that I should asked in the morning when I drop him off ... I asked the did he even get out of the crate and they said yes a couple of times... which it didn’t happened I work from home I was able to be on the cameras and they never took him out...once at home he drank water for a while and did a long pee another corear sign about the time that he was on the crate with out. What the point to bring out dog to this place? I was hoping for a fun, social play day for him... I really don’t have the need to leave him there I was considering as an option for future travel plans that we have but definitely this will not be the place and i would never recommend neither.

THE worst experience ever

THE worst experience ever! Customer service communication is awful,
First time i took my dog to get groomed, the front desk asked for for his shots records which I was able to get it from the vet, he was currently missing shots, but they took him anyway, literally the front desk words ( he doesn't have all his shots but we'll take him )
that was 9:00 am 6 hours later no phone call from this place no nothing! about my dog so we decided to go get him thinking he was already groomed and ready!
we got there he was locked in a room from 9am to 2pm not groomed not showered nothing the same as i drooped him off!
and I asked what happen? They said he doesn't have his shots! but they said it was ok and they took him to be left inside a room for 6 hours with no phone call! so why take him? what kinda professional place does that ? I left very very upset I just took him and walked away
i do not recommend this place to any pet parent.

AVOID GROOMING

Honestly, the most awful experience I have ever had with a company. This groomer we booked with Dylan - lacked experience, had zero patience, and was not professional.
He started off the conversation with a horrible attitude and even called back to basically back track. He SHAVED DOWN TO THE SKIN both of my golden doodles. Due to COVID, moving into a new home, a brand new baby, and our groomer not accepting appointments - we were unable to get our guys in. Pet Paradise had an opening so I took it. Little did I know, they employ someone like this. Dylan did not try and spend a little bit of time with my golden doodles. Instead of shaving a few spots on the (7 year old) golden doodle's hind legs where there were a few matted spots, he decided to shave both dogs down to the skin. They are completely bald from nose to tail. The Puppy just needed a wash and a good brushing, he still had puppy hair and he gets brushed DAILY. He still decided to take the LAZIEST way out and shave them. We are currently taking care of their wounds with bandages and topical ointment from getting cut all over their neck and other various places on their bodies.

The front desk also lacks experience. She did not recommend the groomer that "specializes" in Golden doodles, but instead placed them with someone that is BRAND NEW and clearly has no idea how to groom these breeds. Pet Paradise needs to send their people back through training and development to avoid anything like this ever again. They even monitor their Facebook reviews and don't let reviews get posted without approving them.
You would think they would try and help the situation, but they are sweeping it under the rug. I wonder how many they do this to?
Awful Experience with Pet Paradise. Please avoid this groomer at all costs! I should have read the reviews thoroughly and took it as a sign that the only good reviews are about the doggy daycare and not about the groomers.
AVOID at all costs.

We boarded our cat Ashe for 10 days at…

We boarded our cat Ashe for 10 days at the Gainesville,Fl location and at first we were a little nervous. First time he has ever been boarded. But once we saw him in the camera and how much he was being loved on and cared for we were thoroughly happy. He had lots of time out as there was only one other baby being boarded at the time with him. We will definitely be using them again for when we need to.

If I could give Pet Paradise Oakleaf…

If I could give Pet Paradise Oakleaf zero stars I would.
First, The VIP Suite is a joke. You pay $100.00 a day and the pups are locked away for at least 13 hours.(This mean they have to poop and pee inside the suite)
They consider VIP because it has a bed, television and cameras that you only can see the bed and not the whole suite.
Sarah the manager is rude and kept deflecting us to their website.
Our pup was matted she advised us they couldn't brush him for free. If we knew we need to apply an additional service to have him brushed we would've.
We were very upset when we came to see his fur matted.
Pet Paradise tried to tell us he was matted before he came which we know is a lie.
So now this morning we had to take him to his groomer's and possible have his fur all away his tummy removed due to the neglection of Pet Paradise.
Meredith at the front counter is definitely rude and lack customer service skills.
The general manager blamed it on their age but this this is who they hired and this supposed to be a luxury boarding hotel what a joke.

Grooming Services

I have been looking for a new groomer for my pup. I decided to give this establishment a try. I first booked an appointment through the chat. I was quoted one price for his hair cut. I understand these prices are starting prices. I went to go pick him up and was charged more than double the initial price. I was told the beginning price was something different that I was quoted. The person through the chat set up my account so they can see who quoted me. I was very upset and just not prepared to pay so much. They just kept telling me there was nothing they can do. They did not offer to rectify the issue. Then I get my dog home to check the cut and his ears were not even cleaned especially when I told the groomer that was very important to do. So now I have to go somewhere else and pay to get his ears done to prevent infection. All they needed to do was attempt to fix the issue and not brush me off. I paid my bill and left. The cut he receive was not worth the price. I do not recommend this establishments.

I love this place

I love this place! My dog Lily love this place! Everyone is so friendly and they love my dog like she was their own. Very accommodating!
I would recommend Pet Paradise in Woodstock to anyone and I have!
