My daughter went to Portland and they told her they needed to do a soft pull on my credit to see if she qualified to take the dog home.I said they could. Next thing I know I have bought a 4500.00 dollar dog with finance charges 7000.They made her believe she was buying the dog.I am beyond mad.she did not understand that she was not buying the dog...

I bought a dog from Petland Kennesaw April 2014. I was told my dog was from an Amish breeder and therefore may not come with all the correct paperwork because they don't use computers - ha! This should have been my first red flag but of course the pushy, uneducated sales people had me hold my dog and who is going to say no to a cute puppy? I asked about my breed of dog and they literally handed me a book and told me to look it up. Are you kidding? You should probably know about the puppies that you physically have in the store. You are told as a consumer that these dogs are certified pure breed and all the paperwork will come with the dog -FALSE! You are told that the puppies are checked out by the Petland used vet - FALSE! or if they are checked, the real issues with them are never stated. My puppy had kennel cough so badly it turned into pneumonia, giardia and pink eye when I got her. I took her to my personal vet because I did not trust the sketchy guy they were using - good thing too because I believe hes been exposed and is in jail now. You are told you can finance the puppy, which seems like a good idea until the 19 year old sales person opens 5 lines of credit unauthorized and you only end up using 1 of those. I had to tell those other companies the other accounts were opened under fraudulent pretenses - which they were - just to get them to close them and hopefully try and repair some of the credit damage that was done. You are told that you are paying such a high price for a dog because its a rare, pure breed blah blah blah but again FALSE! I even did a non petland affiliated doggy DNA test to check. You are told you have to purchase the new puppy bundle for an additional $1000 to even get your dog. $1000 on top of the already outrageous prices. I literally could go on and on about how TERRIBLE this place is but I am so done with them. I never want to even hear their name again and I am one of the lucky ones who's sick dog did not die. This place needs to be shut down immediately. Selling sick dogs at super high profit margins is ridiculous and the owners should be ashamed to even claim that they like animals.

From the moment I entered Petland Kennesaw the staff let me know they were there to help and answer any questions I may have. It was my life long dream to have an English Bulldog, so when my little girl popped her head up and looked at me through that glass I knew that the dream was about to become reality. The staff brought her out to me and let us check each other out in their custom interaction booths. They helped me assemble all the things I would need to take care of her and with their easy financing she came home with me that day. They also gave me lifetime veterinary care and training for her. I cannot say enough about how great Petland Kennesaw is and how much better my life is now with my little girl (Natalya). I also want to say a special thank you to Zack Wall for all the help he's given me with Nattie. Being a disabled vet in a wheelchair has not been easy but Petland helped me start to get some of my life back. highly recommended to anybody who's looking for a great companion. An outstanding place and an outstanding staff definitely five star.

The quality of our little dog from Petland Kennesaw is excellent. We have enjoyed her so much for over 5 years now.

Purchase a Havachon approx. 2 yrs ago. Good experience. Was under the understanding if I purchased another pet thru Petland (did not say Kennesaw) would get a discount. In June 2016 I purchase a boston terrier from Petland Dalton did not receive a discount was told not affiliated with Kennesaw. But Kennesaw did not have the boston I wanted at the time and had not received one in that I would be happy with. That all said I am happy with both purchases. Little pricey but other than that great experience with purchases. Don't like trying to be pushed into purchasing all the vitamins etc that pet does not need per my vet.

They sold us a sick dog. The dog almost died. If I could give them a zero I would. Hopefully the state closes them down.

When I took the dog to the emergency vet so they could save his life they told me they are constantly getting sick puppies from Petland Kennesaw.

Great experience but the pet prices are overinflated.

I love my dog that I bought from Petland. I saw her photo on the website and drove almost 2 hours to get her. Great website. Great choice of pets. Process was fairly smooth, but ALOT of info in such a short time. Also, there was not the kennel i wanted in stock, TWICE, so although I paid for it I never got it; staff DID give me a substitute item (which was cheaper) but I did not feel there was management followup or concern over this issue, considering such a large purchase. Thanks to Petland for introducing me to Health Extension products, love them. Overall, I am very happy with Petland and would recommend them.

I'll never set foot in a petland again. They knowingly sent me home with a highly contagious dog knowing I had dogs at home that could be affected. I don't consider this the responsible action of a trustworthy business.

The staff at Petland was Awesome!! I came in to play with the puppies and went home with one. Amber is great. She didn't stop bringing me puppies until we found one my daughter fell in love with.

Great experience! The staff is super friendly and helpful. I have noticed it seems they have a big turn over in staff though.

Hire a veterinarian. Y'all need it desperately, 16 year olds don't know anything about animal HEALTH

I purchased my corgi puppy from PETLAND in Kennesaw. My corgi was and is healthy and happy. The sales associate did a great job helping me to get all the things I needed for my puppy. I will purchase another dog soon.

Honestly from the minute you walk in, you feel overly pressured to buy or get out. The animals are crazy expensive and turn out to typically have a sickness of some sort. They also pressure you to apply for a loan. And my experience was just unpleasant. I didn't like it at all.
