Most issues can be resolved on their chat system which is quick and painless. Instructions vague. Videos often referred to older models. Louvers would not fit in the beam track plastic u-shaped channels without adding additional washers to make louver "pin" longer. Overall build quality is great. Squaring up the assembly was very difficult.

We had an issue with the original purchase order number US12403. I filled out this form on May 6th and received a response, and to date, nothing has happened. No one returns calls. When you speak to someone, they say, " That's sales, and they have to call you back, and no one ever does. It has been over 8 weeks since we placed the order, and nothing has been resolved. I just filed a complaint with the Public Service Commission and BBB. This seems like a 27,000 Scam.

Excellent quality and communication regarding our order. High quality materials delivered on time. However some critical components were not delivered by the shipping company. Our completion of the assembly was delayed by several weeks. This delay was acknowledged and well managed by the customer service rep, Adolfo. When all the parts arrived we could finish the assembly and realized how sturdy and well made this pergola is in comparison to other brands.

Would have bought a different pergola if I knew how awful the instructions were. The “must-watch” video is useless, and the PDF instructions are nothing but zoomed-in pictures with no written steps. No paper instructions included either. Parts are not labeled correctly in the instructions.
I’ve assembled a lot of products, and these are THE WORST instructions I’ve ever seen. Chinese instructions would of been better.
Avoid this company until they completely redo the installation guide. Check the PDF instructions on the website, and know there is about 20-30 steps that aren’t in there that you have to figure out yourself.
Not to mention, if you have to return any parts it can total over $3,000 re-stocking fee.
Product is nice but would of gone with another nice company.

After exchanging a few emails and ordering a replacement part, Axel hopped on a video call with me and he guided me step by step on how to replace the controller. He was very patient as we worked through it together, and I’m happy to say that everything is working as expected now.

Ordered S4 Pro Max on May 4, delivered by AIT on June 8 with no damage. Shipping was a bit confusing since I was told to use Shop App for tracking. However, App was never updated with ship info even after delivery. AIT was also a bit confusing since they use their own order numbers - one for shipping to local terminal, different one for local delivery. The product is outstanding and excellent quality - 5 stars. DIY Assembly however is another matter, hence the 4 stars. The Assembly manual is just pages of pictures with no descriptions. Add to that the frustration of screws in undocumented parts bags, missing screws / bolts, extra parts bag with uneeded parts/screws, louver motor that had extra unneeded bracket/screws, misleading or incorrect diagrams and instructions (e.g. where to mount controller module), etc., etc. As a result, what should have taken 1-2 days ended up taking 4 days with many calls to customer service. If you're good at Erector sets, you'll enjoy putting the new S4 Pro Max together. Summary: Excellent product & customer service, but poor/incomplete Assembly instructions. Pergolux needs to create a video that shows the actual Assembly of a S4 Pro Max.

The product is first class and the installation team from Elite was the best. Daniel and Serge were very knowable with the product and it showed in their craftmanship. I would recommend to anybody that buys Pergolux, have their installers set it up. Well worth it.

Upon actual returning, they were different from original.
Nightmare returning the produce and getting money back. Its numerous phone calls and email so far from my side. Product have been returned for more than 3 weeks and still waiting to get the money back

The product itself is awesome. We purchased a 10’ x 13’ pergolux 4 pro.
It was built in a day and a half by the contractors who were doing our deck. In the last few days, it was easy to learn the remote and ap for the louvers, lights, and heater.
The delivery experience was a challenge. AIT was not easy to work with. We had a window schedule and then learned there was some sort of error causing the order to be recalled. But, ultimately k have to give pergolux credit as they took responsibility and got a new one out within a week. The hero here was Japhet with pergolux customer service. He was maybe the 3rd or 4th person I spoke with. However, he remained patient, and took ownership of finding a solution. He emailed with me and was responsive to each email within 24 hours. If it weren’t for Japhet, I’m not sure we would have followed through.
The summary here is that it’s a great product and you need to have Japhet in your corner.

Experience with Pergolux is horrible. They don't stand behind customers and ensure that orders are shipped to customers. After the item leaves their facility, they don't offer support to customers to help track the item or ensure it reaches its final destination. DO NOT order from PERGOLUX. They could care less about your order, they just want your money. Is it a decent pergola, sure if you get what you order!

i orderd a S4 and received confirmation it would deliver in 15 days. i called after 7 days to confirm shipment date and was told that S4 are not even in the United States yet but they would send me a S3. I asked for discount and didnt recieved one. Today the installers are telling me that the brain is a S2 which dosn't have bluetooth and other feature. Customer service is not helpful. Very disappointed after spending over $20,000.

Great product with great service! We installed our Pergolux last fall over our hot tub and we loved it. It made using the hot tub more enjoyable, not having to shovel snow before getting in it. We included the the heater which made for a comfortable transition when getting out of the hot tub on an icy cold night.
We had purchased a couple of screens as part of our original purchase which we just installed this spring. One of the screens was missing a couple of brackets so I called and Pergolux service and they had those shipped right away to me. Thanks for being a great company!

I recently ordered a Pergolux pergola and had a very positive experience with their customer service team. Shortly after placing my order, a new promotion was released with lower pricing and additional accessories. While Pergolux normally does not offer price matching, Manuel Schradi worked with management to help find a fair resolution for my situation.
He was responsive, professional, and clearly made an effort to advocate on my behalf. Pergolux ultimately provided a significant refund adjustment along with the promotional heater, which I greatly appreciated.
My pergola has not yet been delivered or installed, so I cannot yet comment on the product itself, but the purchase and customer service experience so far has been excellent. I plan to update my review after delivery and installation.

Do not order from them, they are a scam; we placed an order for a pergola to then be told the item was no longer available and they could not fulfill the order; they had no problem taking my money and did not inform me of the item being out of stock - I had to attempt to reach them several times to get this info after the order never shipped. They did offer to upgrade us to another model which only came in a bigger size and would not fit on our deck, however they didn’t seem to care about that when offering it; they were very difficult to get a hold of for a refund all the while they continued to sell this same product online to other people and show it as in stock in their site. They are scammers!
