Frustrating Experience with Dining Table Purchase and Warranty


- Purchased a 6-seater dining table.
- After 2 months, a manufacturing defect was detected.
- Claimed warranty; company agreed to replace as it was not repairable.
- Over the next 4 months, I made more than 20 calls and sent the same number of emails.
- After 4 months, they delivered a replacement product that was even more defective. I refused to accept it, and they took it back.
- Later, they asked me to send photos and videos of the defective product (which they had already taken back).
- I managed to send only 2 photos taken during installation.
- They closed my warranty request because the photos were sent after 2 days.
- I emailed again; they reopened the request but asked for the same photos once more.
- The cycle of calls and emails restarted, with no resolution.

Additional Issues:
- I received multiple calls during work hours, causing disturbance.
- I even had to take half-day leave from my workplace to receive a damaged product again.

Final Note:
Please don’t be misled by their colorful website, fake discounts, and false warranty promises.
This has been one of the worst companies I have ever dealt with.

Had a great shopping experience with Pepperfry

Had a great shopping experience with Pepperfry! The website is easy to navigate and there are huge range of furniture to choose from. My order arrived on time as well and packaging was well. The quality of the dining table I ordered looks elegant and feels durable. Customer support was responsive on delivery updates and made overall a smooth experience.

Worst Service Provider

I’m genuinely amazed at how…

I’m genuinely amazed at how spectacularly unorganized a brand like Pepperfry can be. First, they lure you in with furniture that’s “in stock” online. The moment you pay, the magic begins—they gracefully shift your delivery date to some mysterious future day, and surprise! There’s absolutely no option to cancel.

Then comes the daily entertainment: a flood of emails and SMS updates about delivery, scheduling, re-rescheduling… everything except an actual on-time delivery. There’s always a brand-new excuse ready for every delay - truly impressive consistency.

And when your long-awaited item finally arrives, it’s damaged from transit. Of course. But don’t worry—they’ll send a carpenter to “fix it up”… after another week of waiting.

Their products aren’t cheap, though the premium ones are decent. But honestly, the logistics? A full-blown disaster. When a brand can’t deliver on the dates they promise, it’s no surprise they will lose customers.

Arbitary rescheduling of delivery

15 pieces of furniture ordered. dates of delivery changed arbitarily. Delivery intimation is through auto generated msgs which are marked as spam by mob service provider and are not answeredby customer resulting in arbitary resheduling of delivery on subsequent dates time and again.

Worst

This is one of the worst merchants of all times. From past two months they cant replace a leg stand of a six seater dining table in spite of sending numerous images and videos of the same thing. It has been two months since this issue is still ongoing, it has taken away my mental peace as the table has now become very dangerous as we have little toddlers in the house.

purchased a premium sofa from Pepperfry…

purchased a premium sofa from Pepperfry with high expectations, but the quality has turned out to be extremely disappointing. The materials used are clearly substandard — within a short period, the cushions lost their firmness, the fabric started wearing out, and the frame became unstable. This is absolutely not what you expect when you pay for a “premium” product.
To make matters worse, the sofa was still under warranty when the damage occurred. However, when I reached out to Pepperfry customer support, they refused to acknowledge the issue and denied any repairs or replacement. Their customer service was unhelpful and dismissive, offering no real solution.
Overall, I feel let down both by the poor product quality and the lack of responsibility from Pepperfry. I would strongly advise others to think twice before making any major furniture purchases from them. Not worth the money or the hassle.

Supplied damaged product

Supplied damaged product. Even after complaining multiple times to their customer support and writing emails, no resolution and no one gives proper answers. Keep shifting the blame to their product supplier. Their support is pathetic and the executives don’t give any proper answers.

Pepperfry is a Total Scam – Avoid at Any Cost

Bought a so-called "orthopedic" Cloudio mattress from Pepperfry. It was fine for about a year, but within 2 years, it became a soft, saggy mess. Zero back support, zero quality.

It came with a 7-year warranty, but guess what? When I raised a complaint, their response was, “This is normal wear and tear.” Normal?! For an orthopedic mattress?

And their customer service? Absolutely pathetic. Kevin from their escalation team was not just unhelpful, but downright rude and arrogant. No resolution, no courtesy, no accountability.

Honestly, I feel cheated. Pepperfry sells you big promises, but if something goes wrong, you're on your own.

Never again. I won’t spend a single rupee on this company ever again — and you shouldn’t either.

purchased a bed from Pepperfry…Artha mart Studio

purchased a bed from Pepperfry (Arthamart, Noida Extension). The product quality is very poor. The floor ply is not fixed and keeps moving, and even the bed box cover is loose. I spent more than ₹12,000 but the bed is completely different from what was shown in the showroom. Customer care also refused to help, saying “it is like this only.” Very disappointed with Pepperfry’s misleading sales and poor quality.

Ordered shoe rack and received an amazing one same as was shown. Thank you . I liked it and I recommend. Try delivering a little quicker next time though. But thanks 10 on 10 to you. Thanks to Punjeet who helped in Mohali. (Also kept my kid occupied for some time) :)

I ordered a solid wood sofa

I ordered a solid wood sofa, one of the Pepperfry brands last month. Initially there was a delay in the delivery but I got a promt call from the Pepperfry team about the delay. They gave me an option to cancel the order if I want to as the delay was over 5 days. I wanted that product specifically so I decided to wait for it. I finally got the order 3days ago and since there was a delay, they ensured that the assembly of legs is also done on same day. The delay was slightly unappreciated but they turned around the experience with proper communication and service.

Decent experience with Pepperfry

I recently ordered a sheeshamwood bed from pepperfry and got the order delivered in 5 days. While pepperfry lacks in selling customized furnitures (other sites offer more customised furnitures) , I think the post sales delivery and assembly was very good. The furniture was very well packed so it did not damage and immediately after the delivery, the customer support team called me to get assembly scheduled. What can be better is their product description on site, as the dimensions were slightly confusing for me initially.
