I emailed Paul at the Pen Workshop with interest in a particular pen. He didn’t simply sell me that pen but took the trouble to find out what I wanted it for and recommended an alternative, a Parker 51 fountain pen. It arrived very quickly, was in beautiful condition and I love it. Excellent advice and service. Thanks.

I found a relatively RARE (unused and with all original retail packaging and warranty card) Burnt Orange Parker Duofold Centennial Fountain Pen & Pencil Set on Penworkshop's web site, and dropped Paul a quick line of enquiry. Paul's responses were always prompt despite the time difference (Canada - UK), and he was extremely helpful throughout the consultation and sales process. The item arrived safe, meticulously packaged and just as described. Paul Baker is not merely a vendor, but also a curator of an extensive collection, and maintains comprehensive service records and histories of the myriad writing instruments in his inventory. It was a pleasure purchasing from Penworkshop, and would definitely and highly recommend this site.

Super website with a very wide range of vintage fountain pens. I have bought several and have been very impressed both with the pens and the speed of delivery.

I was in a bit of a desperate situation of obtaining a sentimental gift as part of a best man speech that was due in 2 days. Paul luckily had what I required and in fantastic condition. After excellent communication over the phone Paul sent it special delivery and did everything he could to help me out! Couldn't recommend enough!

I have bought a couple of pens from Penworkshop, admittedly both were Parker 51. Not only are the pens top class, I received them in double quick time. And the prices are very good. The latest one I ordered on Tuesday afternoon, it was posted Wednesday morning, it arrived Thursday. How about that! A pity I could not get to my office on Thursday because of bad weather so I got to try the pen only on Friday.

As someone who was doing business with Penworkshop from abroad (USA) I was a bit hesitant about how everything will end up, but all my reservations vanished after I got in touch with them about the shipping of my pen. Penworkshop is as serious as it gets. They are absolutely reliable and trustworthy. I bought a Conway Stewart 58 fountain pen, a mighty creature that did not disappoint me a bit. The description on the website was accurate, the service was quick, and they provide you with a tracking number. The pen was safely packed and came without damages. I am so happy I found Penworkshop. I would recommend it to anybody interested in getting a pen from people who actually know about pens and love them.
