Easy to order, fast and efficient service, and great product

Very pleased with the product and prompt delivery.

Ordered a push tamper from their sister company, clockwork espresso, in June of 2023. It was back ordered so I expected a wait of a couple months. In September of '23 the owner sent a mass email to apologize for the delay and promised more shipping info would be sent in the next week. That was the end of communication. The owner did not respond to emails sent in December of 23 or March of 24. I was finally able to contact them through the support chat on pennyandmeriwether.com in April of 2024. The owner was non apologetic, blaming the delays and lack of communication on his wife's recent pregnancy. I'm not sure how in seven months he was not able to find the time to reply-all to the September email and "still working, be patient please," nor to respond to my 2 inquiries with a "hang tight, I'll look into it." I thought the company had gone under and taken my 140 quid with it. The owner seemed befuddled that I was not willing to congratulate him on the birth of his child even though he had been holding my money for the better part of a year at this point. This company allegedly makes a good product, but the owners do not have the bandwidth to properly run a company nor to provide adequate customer service at this time.
