NC 500 (7 days)
Speaking on behalf of myself and cycling mate Granville, both in our 70+ years...from the initial enquiry to the final day celebration meal, this has been an highly memorable experience for both of us, achieved through the friendly advice, help prior, expert assistance, help and guidance during, from the Pedal Britain Team of owner Darren and his trusted lieutenants, in this case Mick and Peter, together with a genuine camaraderie from the whole cycling group.
If anyone is looking to have a cycling challenge, believe it or not, a most relaxed, safe and enjoyable experience, with "scenery to die for" as a bonus, this is the tour company to do it with...We rest our case!

This is our second tour with Pedal Britain, and again a superb tour on the NC 500 with Mick and Paul. Great organisation,cycle support and of course the Magic van!
The route in Scotland was breathtaking and amazing climbs, I never felt rushed or hindered with cycling and had lots of smiling moments!

An absolutely fantastic experience completing Le Jog in August. The route took in the best the UK has to offer and was carefully planned in terms of breaks/accommodation to give us the very best experience. The guides Peter and Mick were fabulous; knowledgable and helpful throughout. I literally didn’t stop smiling end to end as it far surpassed my expectations. I would highly recommend Pedal Britain to anyone considering the route; I’m still undecided as to my favourite day cycling as it keeps changing, but it’s probably between the days spent in the Highlands. I’m already thinking about my next trip with them and have my eye on the NC500 next year. Biggest lesson learned ‘hills are my friend’ 😀😀. Thank you all at Pedal Britain.

LEJOG August 2022

What an excellent bike tour! I thoroughly enjoyed the trip and it was a great group of people to ride with. The logistics of the trip were terrific, we travelled on quiet roads when possible, brew stops were amazing, accommodation was great couldn't ask for better support crew in Darren, Pete and Mick. Nothing was too much trouble as we were able to ride and enjoy the trip and Pete and Mick made sure everything ran smoothly for us. Bike transfers before and after the trip were excellent. I would certainly book with Pedal Britain again.

Can highly recommend Pedal Britain for all round excellence in organisation, logistics, on road guide for general route assistance/mechanical help/ guidance ( thanks Mick) and support van for brew stops, luggage transfer and so much more ( thanks Peter). Just completed the August 2022 Lejog and it was an incredible experience, challenging and rewarding, and completely achievable if you’ve put in the training. Pedal Britain, run by Darren, is a very professional outfit and it is obvious that much thought has gone into route selection, accomodation options and lunchtime venues. Highly recommended!

This is our second trip with Pedal Britain this year having completed Ireland End to End in May. LEJoG was amazing. Great organisation from Darren and the team. The route was superb, mostly on quiet roads and tracks. Logistics were smooth and hotels great. Thank you Pedal Britain.

Pedal Britain is a must if you are thinking of doing LEJOG and I cannot recommend them enough as you will want for nothing.

Absolutely brilliant experience!! I highly recommend Pedal Britain to anyone wanting to do multi day tours across Britain. The attention to detail was evident from the first emails and this was carried through all the way. Peter the guide on the road was attentive to everyone and also demonstrated his mechanical skills on many occasions and all with great humour. He also took amazing photos each day. The food stops came at about 20 mile intervals which broke the whole trip into manageable sections. Jude’s smiling face and funny hats were always a welcome sight and she was phenomenal!!
Peter and Jude were so encouraging every day and this went a long way to enabling me to complete this iconic adventure. Massive thanks to Darren, Peter and Jude 🙏👍🚴‍♀️😃

Completed LEJOG in July 2022. A brilliant experience from start to finish and would recommend going with Pedal Britain for anyone considering this epic challenge. Everything from the pre-tour comms, daily logistics, the hotels and tea/feed stops (thanks Jude) were excellent, and fantastic, well planned routes, mostly away from busy roads. Our guide was brilliant (thanks Peter) and always happy to offer advice and assist. Overall, a great experience and no hesitation in booking with Pedal Britain again for my next cycling adventure.

Riding LeJog June 2022 with Peddle Britain was an amazing experience. The route was well thought out and researched and documented. The guiding and support provided exceeded all expectations. The whole trip was run with the ethos of Ride your Bike and Smile. Good hummer and company found for the whole journey. Lejog June 2022
We have just completed Lejog with Pedal Britain and we cannot recommend it highly enough. Its definitely the best thing we have ever done on a bike. The route planning, scenery, accommodation, food, laughs but especially the attention to detail and helpfulness of Darren, Peter & Jude made the 2 weeks a joy from start to finish. My partner and I have just completed Pedal Britain Lands End to John o’Groats. A fantastic experience from start to finish. It was a conscious decision for us to do a supported tour and Pedal Britain provided all of the key elements we were looking for. Darren’s communication and attention to detail was perfect which gave us great confidence in the company. PedalBritain's 14 days Land's End - John O'Groats route is definitely not the shortest... at respectably over 1000 miles, or the flattest... climbing Mount Everest from sea level, twice. What it genuinely is though, is a wholly satisfying challenge which, when you roll over the line at the finish, is an achievement you will feel hugely proud of and will have the sense of having been part of a very high quality experience.
Attention to detail is an obvious keynote for PedalBritain, from the excellent planning of each daily route, through the selection of great nightstop accommodation, to the genuine enthusiasm and encouragement of our amiable 'on road' tour guide Ade Thomas... it was a truly sparkling experience.
You want to do this ? ... don't hesitate !

Great week of cycling, superbly organised and managed by Darren and Mick. Well fed throughout the week with everything you could want at the regular brew stops. Myself and three fellow Canadians just completed a 14 day cycling adventure from Lands End to John O’Groats with Pedal Britain. The scenery was beautifully diverse and often breathtaking. However, what made it truly memorable was doing it with Pedal Britain. The riding was challenging (some days harder than others) but Darren’s attention to the needs and comfort of each rider was exceptional. Each day was broken down into 4 x 20-25 mile legs with roadside brew stops and lunches at local restaurants along the routes. When we arrived at our hotel each day, our luggage was in the lobby, keys to the rooms were ready to go and bike storage was provided. While dinners were not included, a team table was always arranged and waiting for us in the hotel or nearby so there was no time spent figuring out where to eat after a long day on the road. This also gave time to meet and mingle with the other riders. If a rider experienced mechanical issues, they were swiftly dealt with by the Pedal Britain team who also had a good knowledge of local bike shops throughout the trip. All-in-all a first rate operation. Thanks Darren for making a 5 year dream a memorable reality.

This is a serious cycling challenge but Darren's meticulous organisation and good humour made it a truly memorable experience. I cant recommend Pedal Britain highly enough.

From the first phone contact to the final, tearful goodbye in Inverness the service from Darren and his team was absolutely superb! For me the LEJOG was a bucket list adventure and, having researched tours online, settled on Pedal Britain for two reasons:
1. The small group size (max 18)
2. The reassuring advice from Darren that I wouldn't be the worst cyclist!!
Communication throughout was excellent and this helped to both calm the nerves and build the excitement! Setting up a WhatsApp group meant that the riders were already talking to each other before the first face to face meeting in Penzance.
The maps/routes arrived in good time to scrutinise the route and to realise the hours of prep that Darren had put into this ride on our behalf.
The ride itself? Fantastic! The route avoided main roads and took us to places that I had never been, it was challenging & interesting. The support form Darren was excellent with his legendary brew stops every 20-25 miles - it helped to break the journey up into manageable chunks.
I am not a "keen" cyclist, just a bloke who wanted to cycle from one end of the country to the other - my bike is 13 years old and very heavy. My choice of Pedal Britain was entirely justified, I would not look anywhere else - they are simply the best!!

Just been on NC500 7 day cycle trip. One of the best cycle trips I've ever done. Darren had everything organised with accommodation and lunches and kept us going with amazing brewstops. Amazing scenery and fantastic cycle group. Would highly recommend Pedal Britain and will definitely be booking another trip

This was my first multi-day cycle and i was slightly apprehensive. It turned out to be a suitably challenging and great experience. I was fortunate to be accompanied by my two daughters and a valued friend, proving NC 500 is suitable for all ages! The whole group bonded and supported each other. Darren helped create a happy group by responding to all our needs, in a good humoured and professional way. Highly recommend Pedal Britain.
