I purchased a Pebble Grey bathroom…

I purchased a Pebble Grey bathroom mirror in October 2024, and it developed a fault under normal use within 17 months. The retailer sent a replacement sensor, but I cannot safely install electrical components myself due to the wiring and bathroom installation.
When I requested a replacement mirror or a professional repair, the company refused, claiming I was outside their 12-month warranty and could not provide a guarantee certificate. This is a clear disregard for my statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, which protect consumers independently of any warranty.
The handling of this issue has been unhelpful and unreasonable, leaving me without a safe or fair resolution. I cannot recommend this company based on my experience.

Information on website incorrect.

Received my Jett white mirror today. Spec said it had a French cleat on back and could be hung either portrait or landscape. No French cleat and a long winded way of mounting it on the wall. Whilst the mirror is great the mis information on the spec is annoying and I wouldn't have purchased if known.

Absolutely useless

Absolutely useless. I have three bathroom cabinets with lights that randomly turn on and off by themseles. Won't help me AT ALL because the items were purchased through my builder and not by myself. But to be honest they could help me if they wanted to. I have the receipts. They're obviously just looking for an "out" and really don't give a **** that their products are a pile of, well you know what.

Disgusting customer service - STAY AWAY

Disgusting customer service. Appalling woman on the phone. Talks over you. Just rude. How she got the job? I wonder.
No help from them.
Very defensive on the phone when I explained the problem with the mirror.
Had to pay costs to get mirror back to them.

It is strange how pebble grey reply to the 5 star comments and not the 1 star 🤔

Absolutely appalling customer service!

Absolutely appalling customer service. I’ve never experienced anything like it!

We bought a very expensive mirror cabinet from Pebble Grey and paid an electrician to have it installed. The electrics to the plug socket worked but the light didn’t. We contacted Pebble Grey for a refund/replacement. After much back and forth over email and phone where they tried to deny there was a fault, they finally said they would arrange collection. We paid for an electrician to uninstall it and packaged it up to send back. Also worth noting, Pebble Grey insisted they were not responsible for any damage caused during delivery (even though the courier was arranged by them and we were only returning because the light was faulty)! Luckily the cabinet arrived back with them in one piece, but we then got an email saying they refuse to refund us because they can’t find a fault at their end! I’ve sent them multiple videos showing the light on the cabinet not working in my bathroom. I’m at a loss of what to do! We’re hundreds of pounds out of pocket and yet they refuse to refund us.

DO NOT BUY!! DANGEROUS AND SUBSTANDARD

DO NOT BUY!!! DANGEROUS AND SUBSTANDARD

I had two 'Cali Black' mirrors from them, both failed. The first lasted for around 2 months before falling off its supports, the second barely an hour. The original hanging was done by the plumber as part of a bathroom refurb (4 fixings, flush with wall e.g. no issue there). There is a serious quality control issue with the way the support bars are fixed to the back of the mirror (grab adhesive).

When it fell it left live electrical wires exposed and damaged our bathroom worktop and tiles. They're heavy mirrors so could have caused serious injury if it falls on a foot.

I will however also say their customer support (Evie) so far has been very responsive and helpful, full marks there but I didn't buy the mirrors for the customer support they provide.

10 year warranty worthless. beware.

Great product, works and looks just the part. A 10 year guarantee is the icing on the cake, or so you would think.

When the Mirror starts to corrode and you contact them, they state that it is due to being in a bathroom with steam, so not covered ! What a shocker hey, a bathroom mirror being used in ...... a bathroom.

Faulty within a few weeks

Purchased Pebble Grey bathroom cabinet for £600 and within weeks the hand sensor had stopped working which means I can no longer turn the light on and the heated mirror fails to work. Really disappointed as really thought I was buying a quality cabinet.

Gesture of good will?

We have unfortunately had a movement sensor bathroom mirror fail after just under a year. After videos & explanations of the intermittent lighting of the mirror we have been informed the fault lies with the installation as the sensor was not 15cm away from the top edge of the bathroom paneling. This has caused the sensor to fail. I have explained that the light worked fine up to a few weeks ago & now only works by waving a cloth under the sensor.
When installation was made the mirror was fitted some 15mm away from the wall allowing the sensor to not be obstructed by the panel. with the faultless sensor LED light working perfectly we incorrectly surmised fitting was completed correctly. Customer service has helped as much as they say they can & agreed to replace the mirror like for like. I asked if we could possibly change this to a touch sensor ( of no more cost ) to avoid future problems, we have been informed this is not possible as we have breached the 6 months allowance for doing so??? Company policy by all accounts. We are therefore being sent the same mirror as a replacement which has only been approved as a gesture of good will by Pebble Grey & not as an apology for failing to explain thoroughly the extent of obstruction considered an inference to the failing sensor & after all the paneling is at least 7mm thick.
We can of course replace the new bathroom & paneling to compensate for the faultless mirror or position it high enough for anyone over 7feet tall to see in to it. Really helpful with a ludicrous approach of solving a genuine problem. However this must be written in the Pebble Grey book of good customer relations under section 1A stating, "The Customer Is never right & we must stick to the rules no matter how unhelpful or stupid it may seem!"
As for your gesture of good will. I have no idea how we can ever thank you enough.

Echo Mirror with Shelf and Poor Customer Experince

We ordered 2 Echo Mirrors with Shelf . As designing our bathroom takes a lot of time , we decided to buy 2 of them .When was the time to install them , we find out the 2 of the screws are missing for the pack . We emailed them and being told to wait 24-48hours .We got a response by one of the staff been asked to add the problem on their system and we did . Add the pictures as well , and waiting. After few days , got in contact with one of the staff and they ask us again what the problem is ...and we explained again ! And waiting .... After few days , got a response when we required to receive the screw missing but been told they don't have them and we can send them back. We explained them that the we have no time to wait for a replace and they must compensate this by offering a full or 50% discount .Pebblegrey refused saying they can offer 20% discount but we need to send the mirrors back , situation that was impossible for us as we opened the boxes already and trademens are waitng for us (on our money). Pebblegrey ignored all our arguments saying '' It is only few screws missing''!!! I don't thing they do not understand that people spend a lot of time and stress when having bathroom project going on !!!! In regards quality of The Echo Mirrors with Shelf: Not the Best !!! Mirrors is fixed on the frame by a Double Sided Tape(?), the frame is fixed on 3 points but missing any support on the left corner and the shelf is moving as not trusting to put anything on shelf . My advise :AVOID this company :You will not get any real support and the quality of the products are not the best !!!

No spare parts!

They stock a good range of products but absolutely no spare parts. If the tiniest thing goes wrong, your entire mirror or cabinet has to go to recycling and you have to buy a new one. This is not good for the planet or the customer.

Don't buy from Pebblegrey

I wouldn't recommend anyone to buy bathroom cabinets supplied by this company, the unit I bought for a total cost of over £600 for 2 units was poorly designed so the wired-in door had to be removed while attempting to hang the door in order to access the box containing the light bulbs and unit fixing brackets for the units. Useless. When I complained I was told that as I had opened the box they weren't returnable and then sent a video showing how to install it, while sitting on a worktop. Even then it took 3 people to hold everything. Just don't do it. Poor customer service. I will never use them again. Disgusted.

The Oval mirror is beautiful and…

The Oval mirror is beautiful and functional with the dimming light. We hard-wired it to the light above the mirror, as the mirror light would not be bright enough alone for putting on makeup. It’s nice to have both lights tho, so to be able to turn off the mirror when not needing the heated defogger. Very pleased with the mirror.
