FRaud and not getting what I requested

Went to Sint-Niklaas Shopping Center for plastic glasses because I'm allergic to metal. I ask for their plastic glasses and they offer me some glasses. I ask them several times "These are plastic, right?" and everytime get the confirmation that they are plastic. I pay 500€ for them and several days later, I get a lot of rashes all over my face. I research aid glasses and read that they are made of metal not plastic. I return and get nothing but (with a big smile on their faces "If you bought it we can't changes. So what are you going to do about it?"

poor quality frame & difficulty in returning process

We bought 2 glasses for my son (10 years) from Pearle Mechelen last year. Two of them were broken from the frame in one year. The quality of their frame is very bad.
Pearle only accepted to receive one glasses back and repair it from the guarantee. They did not accept to change the second one and their reason was that frame was broken and my son lost the broken frame piece. They said glasses must be returned as a "complete glasses".
As a customer point of view; broken is broken and it shouldn't be an excuse that broken piece of frame is lost. We bought these glasses last year and at the end of the day my son cannot use it anymore. My son is only 10 years old and he does not know it that he has to find the broken piece of frame where he lost it. He is not an adult and does not think this complex story.
Unfortunately, it is very disappointed for us. We are not planning to visit to Pearle Mechelen anymore.

Unprofessional and rude encounter

I arrived at the Hasselt (Quartier Blue) shop around 17:00 (an hour before closing) to buy glasses for my parents. However, the representative refused to perform an eye test for my mother, citing her colleague's early departure. When we expressed our disappointment, noting our travel from another town, and asked if she could still perform the test, she declined, stating she couldn't leave the front desk unattended. She also mentioned, rather unprofessionally, that she commutes from the same town, implying we were exaggerating, and indicated that we should have scheduled an appointment or arrived earlier, placing the blame on us. Despite understanding her situation, in view of her response tone/attitude, I noted that her colleague leaving early was not our fault and that we were following the advertised business hours.

Her response was dismissive and rude, declining further discussion and asking us to leave. When I mentioned that such behavior is inappropriate for customer service, she claimed that I was raising my voice and threatened to call security.

Whether this treatment was influenced by our inability to speak Flemish or our appearance, I cannot be certain. However, as someone who has worn glasses for over 20 years and purchased them globally, I have never encountered such unprofessional and rude behavior from a glasses shop representative—this was a first.

Very bad!

Very bad!
I went at Diesestraat Leuven store twice and the saleslady is not helpful. Her "not in the mood" face makes me feel uncomfortable to ask question and she'salways in hurry.
I did my eye check up with her and unfortunately she did it very quick. She gave me this trial eyeglasses and for me it is not comfortable, i wanted to complain but she said it is normal so i just stop bothering her.
Compared with my experience from other optical shop, this one in pearl is just very bad when it comes to customer care/service.
I don't know if it is how it should be but I just paid my consultation without buying the glasses, i rather lose my 20€ than buying incorrect eyeglasses measurement!😑
I will certainly not come back there again!
Too bad to handle customer

Gent Zuid Store

I went to the store in Gent Zuid. I have never been treated so rude before in Belgium. I went to ask for help and advice and I ended it up getting the worst service possible. As a customer, I expect respect, and the person who received me (there is a huge picture of him in the wall of the store) ended it up yelling at me, not giving me any help related to my questions, and even laughing to the inqueries that I have. I really hope never having to go there again...
