Review from 2014

Review from 2014, they keep deleting my review as they don’t want people to see what they do: I applied for a loan and was denied. To then have my details passed around to over 11 companies and they take money from my account.! I have had over £500 taken out and cant get through the month.
This is definitely Peachy as my bank said one of the companies that deducted was called Peachy!!

Avoid this company

They offered me a loan if though they could see my financial situation was not good and they still added interest when I told them I cannot afford to pay.I complained about them because they contributed to me having to go on a DMP and caused me financial difficulties.I will take them to the FOS!

Very high interest and avoid at all…

Very high interest and avoid at all costs. If you pay your loan early, they blacklist you as their aim is to drown you in as much high interest as possible. That has been my experience.
I hope they go the same way as the others. Bandits.

Dear Nick,

Thank you for your review.

We would like to confirm that an application is not immediately declined if a customer has repaid their previous loan early, however as we take responsible lending very seriously and always assess the borrower's ability to afford the proposed credit commitment, then in some cases, we may indeed have to decline some applications.

We hope you accept our sincere apologies for any inconveniences you have experienced. We would also like to thank you for your feedback and assure you that we will use it to further improve our service.

Kind regards,
Peachy

Dear Lloyd Welch,

Thank you for taking the time to leave feedback.

We make every effort to ensure our service is excellent and we regret we have fallen short of your expectations.

We have investigated your case and can assure you that we have not passed your card details to any third parties. This is strictly against all our policies and procedures.

We may pass the customer’s contact details to other prospective lenders in cases where the customer’s application gets declined, however we would like to confirm that we never share any of our customer's contact details with other lenders unless they have given us permission to do so.

We would strongly advise you to contact your bank in order to determine who has debited the funds from your card and start chargeback proceedings in case the funds were collected without your authority. We hope your bank will be able to provide you with further help and assistance and find a positive solution to your concerns.

Please do not hesitate to contact us should there be any additional information you require.

Kind regards,
Peachy

Terrible company..

Terrible company... i was in a lot of trouble with payday loan companies and short term lenders. One loan taken to pay another - multiple loans at same time.. priority bills not paid - many many sleepless nights.

I Complained that this loan was miss sold and i have received a general template reply accepting no responsibility from Peachy!!

I am disgusted at their reply!!

Off to Ombudsman next i suppose seeing as they accept no responsibility for their actions.

Peachy Loans left a CIFAS marker on my credit file

Peachy Loans left a CIFAS marker on my account too!

The person who left a review underneath me is telling the truth - how do I know, because peachy loans registered my name with CIFAS when I entered in to a debt management plan.
I only found out when my bank wrote to me and told me to contact CIFAS when I applied for a credit facility. Peachy had to remove the CIFAS marker in the end because they knew it was bogus!

Turns out that this is a standard operating procedure for this jack-legged bunch

These people have the nerve to register their customers who are in financial difficulty with CIFAS. The only frauds out here are Peachy Loans - bunch of charlatans!

CIFAS indicator for customer in debt management plan

Avoid. When I fell into difficulty making repayments I entered a debt management plan with Stepchange. Peachy have raised a CIFAS marker on me as a fraudster which may result in my bank accounts being closed and me unable to move house. This I’d not fraud, but is a customer in financial difficulties.

I only gave them 1 star as wouldn't let me write a review otherwise !. By far the rudest people I have ever dealt with. I put in an unaffordability complaint in hoping to come to a resolution between ourselves, but, they dug their heels in and said I could afford it. These people will give you a loan even if you cant afford it without doing proper full checks. A £300 loan will cost you double. Find another solution if you are having trouble, dont resort to these people. They will not help if you come in difficulty paying it back, they add more interest and charges, this is why I've taken a case out against them.

Some of the good guys

I fell into a whole load of payday loan messes, one of the lenders was peachy. They were the first lender to offer an affordable repayment plan with no stress, they quickly reviewed my unaffordable lending complaint and made a very fair goodwill gesture to end the complaint and help sort out my finances. If you need a short term loan I’d recommend peachy, I’ve had some awful treatment from other companies and had to go to the ombudsman... but Peachy have been very helpful, professional and understanding.

If I could give 0 stars

If I could give 0 stars, I would, I admit I have borrowed from peachy on numerous occasions but on my last loan due too extreme personal circumstances (my brother dying and my mum falling and fracturing her hip at his funeral) I had to take time off work..this left me struggling financially. I told them of this, they did not help, they have not frozen the interest and the amount owed has spiraled. I rang today and offered to pay what I have borrowed and only that minus the interest they should have frozen.. they have declined to accept this..I am struggling and have offered settlement. Shame on you Peachy... I’ll be going to the Ombudsman!!!

They don’t like loan being repaid…

They don’t like loan being repaid early. I got a loan over a nine month period. Paid back most instalments at a month early and full amount was repaid 2 months early. Applied for a much smaller amount for Xmas and got refused, no change in circumstances, my credit score is better than before. I think they just didn’t like fact they didn’t make as much money off me cuz I repaid early. Avoid.
