A Must-Have
I'm constantly combining journal articles and annotating drafts. PDFzen's editing suite is robust enough for my needs but remains intuitive. The highlight and comment tools are really well-implemented.

Unbelievably Simple Interface
I was shocked by how easy this was. I needed to compress a PDF and expected a learning curve. There was none. The website is clean, the buttons are clear, and it did exactly what I wanted in one click. This is how all online tools should be.

Warning. Do not use. They will scam you.
I would have chosen zero stars as it is a scam site. They charge 50p for one edit then force you into a subscription service without any authorisation on your part. They then take £50 out of your account two weeks later with no warning or indication.
A TOTAL SCAM COMPANY!
If I can rate this company 0 I would but too bad there's no option for that aside from 1 star. I bought one time service from them for 0.50€ and since I used my credit card to pay which I usually don't check the transactions there because I am aware where I used my cc for...until I checked today and I saw they charged me 49€ for 5 times! I didn't subscribed to them!! THIS COMPANY IS A TOTAL SCAM! PLEASE DON'T USE THIS COMPANY! THEY ARE A TOTAL SCAM!!! To those who got scammed too, did you got back a refund?
PDFzen charge me 49€ for one edition
I bought a pdf edition for €50 cents and they charged me that and €49 without notifying me. I'm waiting for them to return it to me. What is that about? Compré una edicion de pdf por 50cts € y me cobraron eso y además 49€ sin avisarme, Estoy esperando que me lo devuelvan. A qué viene eso?
I paid €0.50 to edit a single PDF and…
I paid €0.50 to edit a single PDF and thought that was the end of it. Turns out they were taking €50 out of my account every month. It took me three months to realise, and I've now lost €150 for a single PDF. I didn't agree to sign up for a subscription, and didn't receive any email confirmation that I had signed up for one. This is daylight robbery. Avoid this site like the plague.
Edit: They have now agreed to refund one month, which is something. However, I'm still down €100 for editing a single PDF, which is outrageous.
Unacceptable way to conduct business
I would have given zero stars if I could. They "signed me" up for a "subscription" which I did not approve, or, in their words, forgot to cancel. When I noticed the strange transactions on my statements, I checked email history and there was no trace of them. Apparently a trial for 0.50p in August triggered "subscription" and they have been charging me £49 each month. I managed to get two months back refund and called my bank to open a dispute for the rest. I was not even aware I was subscribed, let alone actually use their so called service! Absolutely unacceptable and unethical way to conduct business. Predatory establishment.
I got my money back !
I got my money back !
You can read my two reviews to see what happened
Next time, I will definitely check Trustpilot before I give my card details for any online purchase:)
Be very careful using their service
Be very careful using their service. I edited a single PDF file on their platform and then found a 41.52 charge the next day for their subscription service. The subscription is done through the backdoor.
Scam 100%
They say it's free, without registration, but it's not. They charge and you need to register. SCAM SITE.
Scam but beware how you talk to your bank
I managed to get my credit card to refund the 3 x £49 payments they took. It is important that you declare to your credit card company that you contacted and CANCELLED directly with the company prior to the first fraudulent payment being taken. Otherwise you will not get the refunds backdated.
This is why companies like this have contact forms rather than email addresses - so that you don't have the evidence of cancellation in your sent folder. However Barclaycard accepted my word that I had contacted the company and cancelled the same day as making the first small payment for the service (£1.95)
Do not use this website/company
I'm only giving this cowboy outfit a 1 star review as its not possible to give zero stars. Avoid at all costs, total criminals. I used their website to fill in a PDF and paid the 50 Euro cents, to find the next day that I had been charged £41.93 for a subscription I had not knowingly signed up for. Nowhere on the pages I used to fill in the PDF or pay the fee did I see anything saying that by doing so I would be signing up for a subscription. On emailing them I got the usual "you signed up for it" nonsense and they tried to imply that they'd done me a favour cancelling my "subscription" and that I wouldn't be incurring any further charges. Total scamsters.
Scammers
I edited a PDF. It showed that I have to pay 0.50 Euro to download it. I paid and surprisingly, it deducted more than 7 POUNDS from my account!!!!!
Don’t trust this site at all!
DON'T EVER USE THEIR SERVICES SINCE THIS IS A SCAM...!!!
Only converted a PDF for 50 Cents without never closing a subscription...but got charged a monthly 49,70 Euro which was clearly theft...DON'T EVER USE THEIR SERVICES SINCE THIS IS A SCAM...!!!
I’m writing to report that I was victim of a scam
I’m writing to report that I was scammed by a website claiming to offer a PDF page extraction service. I initially paid €0.50 with my credit card, but the service didn’t work. The next day, a charge of €49.70 was taken from my account without my consent, apparently for a subscription.
After checking reviews on Trustpilot, I found that others have experienced the same situation.
SCAMMERS. DO NOT USE THEIR SERVICES
They're scammers. They advertise the service as free on Google search. However, once you've edited the PDF, they ask you to pay €0.50 without mentioning that this is a trial and that they will charge you €49.70 for a subscription. They hide this information in a pop-up under the 'terms and conditions' checkbox during the €0.50 payment process. This is misleading, as it's not clearly visible or disclosed anywhere else throughout the process. I'm filing a request with my bank to get my money back since they refused to refund the money they’ve taken.
