It is very good! I managed to create, edit and converse files with no problems.

Even if you uninstall the software, a commercial add will pop-up EVERY F****G day on your screen.

This is a spam app. Don't download. You can't uninstall it at all after installation. It always shows the uninstallation is interrupted because it's broken.

I had a very disappointing experience with PDFsam.

They charged me $79 for an automatic subscription renewal after one year, even though the first year only cost $35. While they did send a reminder email, the subject line was misleading — it simply said something like “Your subscription is about to expire,” with no clear mention that an automatic payment would be taken a month later.

Because of that, I had no idea I was about to be charged nearly double the original price.

I contacted them the same day the payment was taken (via PayPal), but they refused to issue any refund whatsoever. No flexibility, no goodwill — just a flat refusal.

This feels very unfair and deceptive. Be extremely careful with their subscriptions.

DO NOT DOWNLOAD THIS PROGRAM. I tried to edit a PDF file and was forced to buy the enhanced version (€29) to delete a page in the file. I bought it. I installed the enhanced version and tried it again. Again, I couldn´t delete the file and was forced to by the professional version (€39). I stopped doing this, because the probability is very high that pay and can´t do anything.

DO NOT DOWNLOAD THIS PROGRAM.
It downloads the Enhanced version, which you cannot uninstall from your computer. I ran scans all day to check if my computer had a virus after I couldn't uninstall it. Eventually I found the online PDFsam uninstaller.
Ha...the company knows you can't remove it from your computer without that. DO NOT GO NEAR THIS PROGRAM

Fraudulent product - don't purchase!!!
It’s really one of the worst companies you can deal with!
I purchase a subscription with them, and their application does not even work - continues to only provide the Free version, although I paid for the Enhanced 7 and multiple computers.
I have tried to contact them to request help to activate (countless emails and phone calls, as well as the online BOT) and I am now onto day 6 with no response.
The call centre is always closed no matter what time I call, and I get automated emails saying "we are busy, but we will come back to you."
I then tried to contact them to cancel the subscription and get a refund, but no one replied to my messages. The 24/7 support is a load of bull. This company is fraudulently trading as NO ONE APPEARS TO RESPOND IN ANY FASHION and is so bad.
WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THEM - EVER.

I am writing this as a serious warning to anyone considering purchasing PDFsam.

My experience has been extremely disappointing and concerning.

First, the amount that was withdrawn from my account was NOT the same as the price clearly stated at the time of purchase. The charged amount was higher than what was presented during checkout. There was no clear explanation, no transparent breakdown, and no prior warning about any additional fees.

Second, after discovering the discrepancy, I immediately contacted customer support to exercise my legal right of withdrawal within the cancellation period. I have now reached out multiple times through the official contact channels.

I have received no response.

No clarification.
No acknowledgment.
No refund processing.
Nothing.

Ignoring customers who are trying to use their legal right of withdrawal is unacceptable. Transparency in pricing and basic customer support are fundamental responsibilities for any legitimate software provider.

The lack of response raises serious concerns about accountability and business practices. When a company charges a different amount than advertised and then fails to respond to refund requests, that is a major red flag.

I strongly urge potential customers to think carefully before purchasing. Make sure you fully understand the payment terms, document everything, and be prepared for the possibility of having to dispute the charge through your bank if necessary.

It's a con. You can't even uninstall it without a last ditch attempt at getting you to buy something. Avoid

(1) Intentionally obscure marketing practices bordering on fraud designed to drive unwanted subscription renewals once you've subscribed once.
(2) App quality consistently low across UI design, feature operation, etc. The list goes on-and-on. Basically feels like an App hacked together by amateur programmers without any thought given to design or use outside those who wrote it. Look and feel of 1990's era software.
(3) Inconsistent subscription pricing that varies by >2x for the same product and subscription period. Not worth even the least expensive price.

Bloatware. Downloaded and went through with it just for it to tell me I need to download, register and spend money on another application of theirs. Shady and weird.

User of PDFsam Enhanced for many years, I enjoy this extremely convenient tool for handling PDFs. In addition, the customer support service is very efficient

I tried to contact them to cancel the subscription and get a refund, but no one replied to my messages, and the 30-day cancellation period is about to end.
Don’t believe them when they say you can cancel anytime.

As this was the first time I had to deal with PDF editing and I had no idea how to do it, I feel quite satisfied that I managed to create almost from scratch six PDF documents in just a few hours using this software. I think that I have to continue my exploration to find out its capabilities that I ignore for now.

I felt really concerned about my ability to access my purchased product. When I contacted PDFsam, the instructions that came back led me directly to the solution. They were clear and exactly what I needed. I was so grateful and wished I had made the contact earlier to resolve the problem without frustration. In the end, it was just a great experience of tech support.

Downloaded the enhanced version tonight and it looks good. Accidentally clicked the OCR enhanced and have immediately sent them an email asking for this to be refunded. Looking forward to having this refunded without problems.
