Terrible communication

Purchased an all in one PC .

The sales pitch is next day delivery. The only dates offered were three days later. Which I accepted. The order confirmed with this delivery date. No further communication.

The PC finally arrived 5 days later. I had emailed the support line 3 times at this point and still don't have a reply to any of them, despite their automated system generating tickets for my emails.

Product itself is good quality, and at a great price but the experience has been disappointing due to very poor service.

Failed to deliver, quick money return

They failed to deliver on their estimated time, the order has been stuck in "Created" for the entire time.
At least money return happened within minutes. Extra star for that.

Fraud & Deception

Hi,

I recently made an order, number 6012025125306 for a variety of PC components, totalling €1470.19.
The shipment arrived with me the next day and was missing €602.75 worth of products.
We opened the boxes, photographed what was included and opened a support case with PC Componentes, and spoke to a lady called Milena R.
She informed us that they had weighed the shipment on it’s departure and as that weight was as expected they are closing our case. I’m not sure how those supposed facts (which they were unable to substantiate in any way) mean anything about whether or not we received products from them, which we did not.
This is completely unacceptable. Put very simply, the negligent actions of Milena R. and PC Componentes, mean I have had €602.75 stolen from my Portuguese company account.
I have opened a dispute with Mastercard to reclaim the funds, as this is fraud, plain and simple.
I have also opened a case with the Polícia in Portugal against this fraudulent and frankly useless company.

Stay well away and spend your hard earned money with a provider who actually cares about it’s customers and doesn’t steal your money.

EDIT : Placing a standard copy/paste response to this problem as a response just goes to highlight how useless your customer service really is. Of course we've all tried reaching out to you directly through your customer service channels.

Terrible Customer Service

If you don't receive you package within the estimated date, you are screwed, customer service is absolutely the worst on this website.

There is no phone number or live support you can contact that consists of a real human being talking to you to help you solve your issue.

Within my three orders, I had one that the package just "vanished", and I had to wait for a new one to get sent again (delays). And the other where I had to call every GLS Parcel store near me to localize my package, as they didn't send me any email or SMS notification about my package arriving. I tried PcComponents through their email ticket system, and they could not find the package and gave me a fake "estimated time of arrival" when the package was already at the store for a week.

If you want a reliable PC parts store in Portugal, I highly recommend PCDiga, as they have some standards.

My experience at the momment of buying…

My experience at the momment of buying any of the products, excelent, but the post-sale experience is been somesince similar like a journey to hell.
Beware if you buy anything, that is not an exterior market because PCcomponentes will leaves you in front of the lions, so to say.
I' ve been waiting at the date more than 3 months for the refound of an item.

No order number, nor confirmation

It's the first time when I do the purchase and don't even get the confirmation for my email, nor any indication of a purchase in the orders history on the website. All I get is a welcome email.
The support couldn't support for 2 days now.
And of course this terrible 'delivery in 24 hours' during the purchase is a total lie.
Don't buy here!

Great support, great prices, great products!

Prices are considerably lower than physical retail giants (worten, fnac, etc.).
Bought both used and new items, all arrived on time and with no issue.
Fast & efficient ticket support when I asked to change the delivery date.
Highly recommend.

Shameful

So, after have received no news since the purchase, and the payment of course, I decided to call the support the last estimated day of delivery. I managed to find the support number (that is actually not available on the website) on the web and the girl told me that there was no stock... I am talking about a fridge and all that it implies... So the only solution is to cancel and that's it. No solution to have another fridge quickly, or any other help. DO not buy there, they do not care about you.

And the answer I get from them here is nothing more than a pre-established template. This confirms what I have just said before. I can understand mistakes, but I expect at least a clear communication and maybe a sincere apology as I guess a solution or compensation to all the food I will waste is not something they would even consider.

More than 2 weeks after the refund request, still no news from the company. To avoid absolutely!

Completely amateur company

I shop online a lot, and this has been by far the worst experience I’ve ever had.
This company is completely amateur and totally incompetent.

I bought a 34-inch monitor, and before it arrived, I realized I had entered the wrong NIF. I contacted their support team to correct it, and they told me it wasn’t possible. The only solution they offered was to send the monitor back and place a new order with the correct NIF.

I agreed and arranged the return, but two weeks later, no one had come to pick it up, and they didn’t provide any way for me to resolve the situation. The first time they didn’t even schedule the pickup. I contacted them again, they scheduled a new pickup — and once again, no one showed up.

The advertisement mentioned a discount of 10€. I asked about it in the chat and was told to sign up for the newsletter and look for it in my email. I did, the discount code flashed, then disappeared. I further inquired in the chat, and was given another sketchy explantion of it applying when an order was placed. I placed my order and neither was it discounted, nor could I find anywhere in which to apply it. The order was processed and the discount for a future purchase for 16.87€ suddenly appeared. I returned to the chat and asked for a discount to be applied to the order I had just placed earler, at which time I was told that I needed to cancel the original order and then reorder it again and apply the code for a discount. I tried! Look at the email I received!!! Thank you for contacting PcComponentes.

Order xxxxxxx cannot be modified or canceled because it is already being prepared.

If you wish to modify it, either to add a coupon or exchange an item, you must create a new order.

If you no longer want this order, we offer two possible options:

1. Reject the merchandise when the delivery person comes to your home. Once we receive it at our warehouse, we will process the refund using the same payment method. If you have not received confirmation of the refund within 10 business days of rejecting the item, please contact us again so we can assist you.

2. Process the return , always within 30 days of receiving the order. We provide a short explanatory video : link address

In other words, attempts to work with PCComponents in order to utilize their own stated offers were worthless exercises in frustration that yielded no intended result at all! If the computer itself turns out to be junk, the support rating will reduce from 2 to 1 because 0 is not an available choice. Customer service is most seriously inadequate.

So far so terrible...

I was supposed to receive my order today according to your website. Then found an email from 2 days ago saying it was a "failed delivery". Your dpd french postal service obviously tried to deliver to the wrong address. They won't let me re deliver it to my correct address. If my order comes tomorrow and it's exactly what I ordered. I'll change this into a 5 star rating. Please don't say sorry. Just give good customer service and stay true to your promises.

The item didn't fit. I returned it. They accepted it and I got my money back. Stories like that usually are not told so here I am letting you know they did the right thing.

They are not reliable

We've been waiting for more than 10 days for information on our order, with the supposed delivery date between April 8th and 10th. Today, April 8th, we were informed that the product in question was out of stock. This is unfortunate. We're a company, and we've wasted a lot of time. Order tracking isn't working properly, as it still shows the order will arrive between April 8th and 10th. We've had to create several tickets to receive information on the actual status of the order.

Pay for gaming PC, got nothing

Order gaming PC, from this fake store. Wait more than a week just to my order been sent. And first alarm, was "delivery" service: CTT Express. After reaching local hidden warehouse, CTT Express immediately mark shipping as delivered. When reach PC Components support, their answer was: it's the error (yeah, believe to scammers) After this message, 20 days, CTT Express "try to deliver package" (do literally nothing). After 20 days, PC Components close order, as completed with justification: recipient decline order. And decline refund.
This case is already processed in the court, but main question:
Your pay for your dream, wait, and got nothing. Just been scamed as huge reporters here. Is it worth it?
Prepayment is disaster.

Unethical activities

I recently purchased a 5070 zotac on the 13th of march from pccomponentes, its supposed to be shipped and arrive 25th march, today i get an email that the product is not in stock anymore, but i check their website its up for sale just from another shop now i believe this is profiting and unethical to sell my item to a partner and make profit since it doubled the price, i will have to contact customer protection authorities if we dont sort this out
