On 27th of March

On 27th of March, our 17 year old dog Milo became really poorly and I knew her time had come. I wanted her passing to be peaceful and in her own home and my vet recommended Paws at Peace.
Kim was amazing, she talked me through the whole process and she showed kindness and respect to myself and Milo. Afterwards, Kim sent me a beautiful message and a card. I would highly recommend Paws at Peace Milo’s passing was peaceful, dignified and in her own bed. Kim organised for the pet crematorium to pick Milo up after and they arrived within half an hour.
I will be forever grateful to Kim and the team at Paws at Peace.

Paws at Peace were recommended to me by…

Paws at Peace were recommended to me by my vet when I knew it was time to say goodbye to my beloved dog, Bonnie. First I spoke to Sam on the telephone and was treated with the care and compassion I needed at the worst of time. Everything was arranged by him including the company that took Bonnie away for cremation. Kim arrived within an hour of my call, even though it was late afternoon. I couldn't have asked for a more caring person, both to me and to my very poorly little dog Bonnie. Each stage of the procedure was explained to me, and it was left to me how long I wanted to take, absolutely no rush at all. Kim made sure the company who were taking Bonnie away were waiting to come in before she left. I cannot recommend Paws at Peace highly enough. All the above is why I've rated 5 stars.

EXCELLENT SERVICE

I had to make the hardest decision of my life when my Lenny declined aged just 5. I made a couple of phone calls to enquire about home euthanasia and I just knew I had to go with paws at peace. I rang and spoke to Sam who was absolutely amazing and listened to me unconditionally cry and reassured me that I was doing the right thing. Kim came to my home on the dreaded afternoon and from the second I opened the door I just knew I had chosen the right people. Kim came straight in and greeted Lenny with a few treats and told him what a handsome boy he was and gave him a good old stroke, he looked so happy to be getting more attention. Kim then went on to explain everything to us in such a lovely compassionate way. Lenny’s passing was so peaceful he literally just fell into the deepest sleep with his whole family around him. I literally seen his whole body relax and his pain just disappeared. Thanks so much paws at peace for the dignity and care you gave Lenny.

Spiders Peaceful Journey

Our poorly almost 17 year old kitty Spider was suffering from cancer and suddenly went downhill fast. Kim, a vet from Paws at Peace visited and made the whole process of saying goodbye to her peaceful and calm. Spider was sedated so she drifted off to sleep before her final journey to the Rainbow Bridge and we cuddled and kissed our little bairn as she went over. Spider couldn’t have managed a trip to the vet so this was the best thing we could have done for her . Thank you Kim and Paws at Peace for your kindness and care.

Dignity

Wow this is hard to write but I wanted other people to know about the service Paws at Peace provide.
We recently had to say goodbye to our beautiful lurcher Mylo who had been my little bestie for over 13 years. Mylo was always afraid of the vets and I knew that his last moments could not be there. Kim came to our house and put Mylo to sleep on his bed. It was dignified calm and peaceful. At all times Mylo myself and my husband were treat with kindness and compassion. Thank you Kim

Made the sad process of saying goodbye so much more bearable

They made the whole sad process of saying goodbye to our lovely 18 year old cat so much more humane than taking her to the vets. Was all done so peacefully, in her own home and in her own bed, absolutely stress free and so peaceful. We even got a lovely hand written cat sympathy card through the post a few days later. Would absolutely recommend Paws at Peace to anyone with pets. Thank you.

Saying Goodbye to Buddy

We recently had the painful decision to say goodbye to our dog Buddy after 15 years, choosing Kim from Paws at Peace for the procedure. Despite the immense sadness and difficulty of the decision, We am incredibly grateful to Kim. Her professionalism was exemplary, and her compassion was boundless. A Caring Goodbye to our Bestest Good Girl

Betsy was fit for her age (15), enjoyed her walks and meals but suddenly it was found that she had an advanced cancer, which was a terrible shock. Betsy had always hated vets (sorry) and I could not stand the idea of having to say goodbye to her in the vets’ surgery so I called Paws At Peace. I am so glad I did.

Kim was exceptionally kind and explained everything to me and my two granddaughters. She came to my home the next day because I needed a few hours to come to terms with what was happening. Everything was calm and unhurried and Kim made me feel as though she would be there as long as I needed before going ahead.

I am sure my other dog, Gus, knew what was happening and was there throughout. Kim had also arranged for the Pet Crematorium to be waiting outside so I didn’t have to try to organise that too.

I am so glad I was able to let Betsy pass in peace. I would wholeheartedly recommend Paws At Peace.

It's been over a month since my Betty left me. I needed time to adjust to a life with her and her brother Malcolm. They were both 18+yr old cats. It was hard when Betty left me. In short I'm thankful beyond words I used Paws for Peace. I highly recommend using them should you need to let go of your beloved pet.

Excellent Service

I cannot recommend Paws at Peace highly enough. Having had a bad experience when I had my previous beloved dog put down at the vets I knew I couldn’t do that again, so looked for an alternative. Having made the hard decision to have our family dog euthanised, due to her having canine dementia, we found Paws At Peace on the internet. From the moment we got in touch the care we received was second to none. The initial consultation was very informative and understanding. It was so nice to talk to someone who had lost a beloved pet and understood what we were going through. When the day arrived Kim was amazing and everything was done at our own pace. Nothing was done until we were ready and Kim explained everything before it happened. When Maisie passed it was so peaceful and she didn’t know anything about it. She just slept through the whole thing which meant we could say goodbye in a relaxed and calm way. Paws At Peace also organised for the cremation which saved us a lot of stress. We have two other dogs and when the time comes we won’t hesitate to use Paws Peace again, although we hope this will many years away.

Just read the reviews

Just read the reviews, our experience was the same as all the five star reviewers. Kim spoke to us and calmed us down as we had to say goodbye to our Labrador Fudge. When Abi the vet arrived she was gentle and showed both us and Fudge real compassion. She gave us time to say goodbye and was so caring with Fudge. Give the clinical vet surgery a miss you’ll be so pleased if you use this service.

Thank you Paws at Peace

Paws at Peace were there for us as a family when we had to make the heartbreaking decision to let our 14 year old dog, Charlie, go. His quality of life was suffering and being able to take our time and say goodbye at home, surrounded by loved ones, I knew we had made the right decision. Paws at peace were brilliant, gentle in a time when it was needed. I would recommend to anyone if you're also in this awful position - they are professional and made a horrible decision a lot easier. Thank you once again Kim xx

Amazing support and service.

A week ago today we decided that we couldn’t let our 15 yr old Angus struggle any longer. He was always a happy dog but began fading really quickly. Paws at peace was recommended to us. Best thing I ever did. Kim came out the same afternoon. The whole process could have been incredibly difficult but Kim made it so much easier, or should I say less traumatic than it otherwise could have been. I held my little lad as he drifted off to sleep. I had lots of time to say my goodbyes. I didn’t want to take him to a vets surgery, I believe he deserved to just go to sleep and start his last journey at home. The care and consideration showed by Kim to Angus and I went way beyond my expectations and I wouldn’t hesitate to highly recommend Kim and the team to anyone wanting to show the love and affection to their pet the same way they unconditionally give it to us.

Calm and personal approach

Paws at Peace were excellent and very caring when I had to make the decision to put my poorly Eddie to sleep. I couldn't recommend them enough. Kim allowed me to hold Eddie through the entire process meaning he passed away in my arms unaware of what was happening in a stress free environment. They also arranged for Paws at Peace nearby to contact me direct and take care of his cremation.

Paws At Peace have been wonderful at…

Paws At Peace have been wonderful at such a difficult time, having to say goodbye to my elderly rescue dog Marley. Kim attended Marley, she was gentle, compassionate and didn't hurry me or make me feel rushed in the process. He passed in my arms at home which was lovely, pain and stress free. Marley had a beautiful and dignified passing and Kim, Sam and the team helped me through that, I can't recommend them enough.
