Very reassuring GPS device.

Our two Spaniels have had Pawfit trackers for 4 years moving up to the latest versions last year. It is very reassuring to know that if they slip their leads we will be able to find them quickly. Mabel is only alive today because her tracker located her trapped in a ditch a few years ago. Without the tracker she would have died and we would never have found her.
Enough said!

Negatives - I can’t remove/attach tracker as not strength in fingers, so I remove collar to charge.
Also, had tracker 3 weeks & lost collar off twice already so bought new collar

Pawfit and Pawfit Lite

Got a Pawfit tracker for our lab and a Pawfit Lite tracker for our yorkie. Impressed with the app. Trackers easy to use. Pawfit Lite a bit tricky to get on and off collar but that may be to ensure it stays secure, which it does. As a smaller tracker it also needs more charging , I imagine is because battery is much smaller. So pleased with both trackers and peace of mind they bring. Especially glad to get one to fit a small dog, she's 4.5kg and it's perfect. 👌🏻

Great tracker, easy to set up and use

Great tracker, very good connection, easy to set up and use and you can add other people to help track if the pet runs off and you can add and use on other pets but obviously not at the same time 😅 you can buy extra trackers and they sell a more advance pawfit 3 but the small pawfit suits our needs, we have a premium subscription, you can get different subscriptions for lower cost too

Great tracker for a cat

We bought this tracker for our cat after doing a lot of research and I am very glad we did. It is lightweight and you can fit it to an existing collar. The charging process is very easy and can be done without removing the tracker from the collar. We have had the tracker for about a month now and it works very well indeed. I am so pleased, I have just committed to a 2 year subscription. We can see where our cat is, set a zone where we are alerted if he moves beyond it and activate a “find button” which guides us to our cat’s location. Ours is a very active cat who roams quite widely and has lost the collar twice so far. The tracking system guided us to it and I was even able to locate it in dense undergrowth using the light and sound function.
The app is quite intuitive and I’m sure I haven’t yet explored all its functionality. At the beginning I had loads of questions which I emailed the company about and received prompt, comprehensive replies - even at the weekend. The location updates regularly but more frequently when using the find function. We have been using this a lot as we are continually checking on the cat. It has meant I have to charge the battery every two to three days as I don’t like it to go below 40%. It would last longer with normal usage.
I recommend this tracker without hesitation.

The Pawfit appliance seems good value and works well

The Pawfit appliance seems good value with the initial outlay and reasonable monthly fee. Hopefully it will not be needed to find a lost cat but it is good fun watching our cat going about his regular patrols and visits to neighbours. A record is kept of historical patrols. The battery lasts 3 or 4 days and would advise to top it up back to 100% when down to 20 or 30%, just in case it is needed for a tracking incident. The collar is secure and the safety catch worked well when he had a dispute with another cat. So far, very satisfied with the Pawfit tracker.

A great tracker

This is a brilliant tracker. I hesitated between this and another tracker but chose the Pawfit 3 in the end. It gives me peace of mind knowing that, if my dog goes off foraging where he isn't visible to me, I can track him using the app. It's easy to use as well as set up using the videos on you tube. Highly recommended.

Shocking aftercare…

i don’t have a problem with the actual track as my cat has had 2 and lost them but they worked fine. The problem
i have is with customer service because the latest tracker is not fully charging, i have had it on charge for 12 hours but it is only charging to 60% and then dropped to 50% within a few minutes of taking it off charge. I have offered to send the tracker back so they can test it for me but they seem reluctant and just keep asking me to re do the tests. i have spent over £120 on their trackers and i’ve got to say the help you get if something goes wrong is shocking! i’m banging my head against a brick wall.

Service has always been quite good but...

Service has always been quite good. I am though frustrated by one aspect of the product. The mounting plates that attach the tracker to the dog collar seem to fail so quickly (the spring pins stop working), whereas the same aspect on the chargers seems fine. Most annoyingly, the mounting plates aren't available as a spare part - you have to buy a collar to get one. How wasteful and unnecessary. :-(

Brilliant tracker and really great…

Brilliant tracker and really great company. Our cat managed to lose her tracker just after the battery went flat. We were offered really helpful advice about how to locate it. Unfortunately it was is dense undergrowth so recovery was impossible, but they offered us a replacement at a decent price.

We also really appreciate the new firmware update that means that the battery now last for ages on a low tracking setting, but that if you need to find your animal, you can press a button and it gives you detailed locations every 10 seconds or so until they’re found. Superb!

Recommended.....

The tracker is small and light and is okay for my little dog. It does mean I don't have to worry too much about where she is, she responds immediately to my voice. All in all it's a great little device.

We've had a Pawfit for almost 7 years

We've had a Pawfit for almost 7 years, starting with Pawfit 2 and now upgraded to Pawfit 3. Throughout that time this tracker has worked really well and I'd recommend to anyone thinking of purchasing. It's great to also have the ability to measure activity of your pet as well as track them through the app. Customer service is also good if you have any queries.

Pawfit has been amazing for my dog

Pawfit has been amazing for my dog! She can occasionally run if she sees a bird or hides in the bushes and thanks to Pawfit I always know where she is! Easy to use and the lite is a perfect compact tracker for my corgi sized mixed breed!

Awful service and a product that is unreliable

Our pawfit device stopped working (it kept turning itself off). After contacting pawfit they just kept asking us to do things like cleaning it, photographing it, trying different things. This happened previously and we had to buy a new tracker, so this is the second device to have this problem. A tracker that can not be relied upon to stay switched on is really poor. Most businesses would simply have sent a replacement unit in these circumstances, but pawfit just keep repeating the same old questions (is it clean?, try this, try that...). I am switching to another brand. We do have over 21 months of subscription left but I don't suppose pawfit will offer any refund of that either. Thoroughly bad service.
