Patently's Shape (prosecution) and Create (drafting) are exceptional. They have revolutionised drafting and prosecution - they have changed my life. These tools have improved both the efficiency and quality of my drafting and prosecution. I don't waste time searching for cited documents and reviewing clunky machine translations - the leg word is done for me. The chat function is a powerful tool that helps me rapidly improve drafts and responses. I look forward to discovering all the things Patently can do!

Patently has genuinely transformed the way I work. As an in-house IP manager at a tech startup, I draft all of our patent applications - sometimes under extremely tight timelines. Writing patents with AI using Patently Create was a breeze. Particularly like the drawings editing and automated diagramming.

I recently used Patently's built-in AI drafting tool, Onardo, to draft a patent specification and I was very pleased with the results. The UI is intuitive and easy to use, and the quality of the resulting specification was impressive. This saved a good amount of time during the drafting process. In particular, Onardo was able to automatically generate flow and sequence diagrams and describe the corresponding complex subject matter in a detailed and clear way. It also allowed updates to be made to the completed specification easily. Overall, I was very impressed with Onardo and would recommend it to anyone involved in patent drafting, both to ensure high quality of the resulting draft and to save time in the drafting process.

We have used this tool within Ricardo for several landscape and freedom-to-operate searches. The tool is very intuitive, needing minimal training or guidance to get started. The layout and filtering options make reviewing the results very easy and the option to collaborate with colleagues is valuable. The C-tree is also an excellent and unique feature.

I have been using Patently to analyse a complex patent portfolio that one of our clients is in the process of purchasing. By importing the portfolio into Patently, I was able to use C-Tree to visualise the entire portfolio in an instant, and gain an understanding of the family structure that simply would not possible when presented with a list of patent numbers (some families include 70+ assets). Even better than this, the combination of C-Tree with current legal status and assignee information has enabled me to identify patent assets that were missing from the original portfolio list, and ensure that our client doesn't miss out. Very impressive!

Vector patent search found some incredible results.

Patently is a patent portfolio analysis software tool that I have been using most days for the past few years. From simple tasks such as finding priority applications and continuations/divisionals, to searching and analysing prior art documents - it's a product that really can do it all.

Patently has relaunched with some new features including an AI powered vector search. I can describe the type of patents I am looking for using natural language, and Patently returns a set of relevant documents for review. With a few simple clicks I can add the most relevant to a shortlist for later analysis, adding comments and/or flags for clients or colleagues. Patently also allows me to quickly find forward and backward citations and add those to the shortlist too – something that extremely difficult to do using other patent databases.

I knew I was a Patently addict when it underwent maintenance for a short while a few days ago and I was completely lost without it!

As someone who has spent countless hours searching for patent applications to use in FTOs, Oppositions and Litigation, Patently's AI-based Vector Search truly changes everything. Vector Search allows free-form text searching of the whole specification of each family in their patent database - it completely blows old fashioned keyword/abstract searching out of the water. The speed and ease by which new, highly relevant, prior art can now be found makes Patently invaluable.
