A scam site that looks official.

Scam. The site looks exactly like an official Government website. You have to look extremely carefully at the bottom of the screen to realise that they aren't.

These sites should be illegal.

My 80 year old mother recently renewed her passport through their website. I only realised her mistake when she told me how expensive it was. They charged her over £100, when it should only have been £75 through the Gov.UK website.

As I previously said, you need to look very, very carefully to realise that you are dealing with a bogus, non-official website. We will be attempting to get her money back from them.

There's a an article about these sites on the Money Saving Expert website, where they're compiling a list of these shyster sites. I have already sent them an email alerting them to this company, so that it can be added to that list.
