STAY AWAY!!! He steals your your money.
I have been chasinghim for 3 monthstryingto get my order. he sent half my order and still got that wrong!!
Now tryingto get a refund!! He dose not respond. Never do business with this criminal!!!! STAY AWAY !!!!!

Both my wife and I have ordered a number of ties from Gianni. Yes he is slow, and yes it takes him a while to respond to emails. However, the wait is worth it. Since I started ordering he has gotten much better in communicating. You are not dealing with a factory but rather a unique craftsman who produces a stunning product. I have gotten so many compliments on each of the ties he has made. We are use to going on line or going into a store and buying what we think is a good product. There is no comparison on the quality of his ties. They are unique and drape exceptionally well. I have worn his ties with several custom made suits. No one said anything about the suits, and the focus was on the ties. The product speaks for itself. Sebastian

I placed an order for a silk tie at Passaggio Cravatte in May this year. It took a bit time before it arrived since it has to be handmade by Gianni himself. What a tie! Just amazing craftsmanship, and the quality of silk is fantastic! Really recommend Passaggio Cravatte who is a small bespoke manufacturer of ties, hankies etc, run by himself and his wife! Passaggio Cravatte has an incredible selection of truly unique fabrics that always catch attention (and compliments!). The level of customization is wonderful, as is the quality. Most important is the personal touch though. Recently I needed to get in touch with Gianni about an order and was blown away to get a next-day response! Yes, orders take time - but good things do, and good things are worth waiting for!

I just received my tie the other day. I must say, it is so well made. Great fabrics, stunning craftsmanship and beautiful collars. I will definitely order more ties from Passaggio. Highly recommend.

The Worst Experience: Absolutely Never Order From Here (0/5 Stars) This One absolutely does not deserve more than zero stars.

Since ordering a tie last November, I have gone an entire year without receiving either a refund or the product. The service attitude displayed by this business proves them to be completely unreliable as a company.

It took more than three months (a quarter) just for them to ship the item after I placed the order. They cited an order backlog at the time, but this turned out not to be their main problem. For an unknown reason, the item never arrived to me and was returned to the sender by Post Italia.

They acknowledged the issue and promised a solution, but that was the extent of their action. For months, I patiently requested a reshipment, but they continuously delayed, always saying they would check "tomorrow." No Follow-up or Resolution. They finally stopped ignoring my emails. A year later from my order, I have neither received the tie nor has a refund been processed. This kind of behavior is nothing short of a scam. Around the same time, a tie I ordered from E. Marinella arrived without a hitch two days later. While I haven't had the chance to use this shop's ties, the attitude they show toward their customers is so irresponsible that they do not deserve to continue operating a business.

If you wish to avoid wasting your time and money, do not order from this shop.

As some other reviews have noted, it can take a while for orders to arrive, because everything is made to order by hand by Gianni and his wife, but Gianni is very friendly and responsive, and more importantly, their work is worth the wait. I ordered several pocket squares and they are all unique, beautiful, and well crafted.

Nine months ago, February 2025, I ordered a tie from Passaggio Cravatte [Gianni is the owner] with a promised delivery date of approximately four weeks. To date, November 2025, I have received many excuses from Gianni but no tie or refund (US $201.00).

Update: On 24 November 2025, the tie arrived.
Pros: Good silk material
Cons: (1) No maker's label (2) whilst the tie has interfacing, it is UNLINED!

The ties are 100% handmade from zero with high quality materials. I saw that immediately once I received my order.

I had little time to choose the right tie to wear to an event, so I asked them if they had any of their pieces available, and they immediately accommodated my request; I had it in my hands within a day.

The ties made by this small family business are extraordinary elegant, original and versatile at the same time. I have more than 12 Passaggio Cravattes already and would have much more if I have had a quicker delivery, understanding that the many orders creates queue. The service was exceptional. I received the items within 2 days of placing the order. This beautiful couple helped me choose a fantastic tie and pocket square combination for an upcoming wedding. Their replies were also very swift. I also bought another tie for a formal event. I will continue ordering from here going forward. I've been a customer for over 2 years now and on my 6th Passaggio 7-fold tie. I frequently wear them in rotation for they are simply a joy to wear — from meetings, to dates, to over a nice cup of espresso in a neighborhood café. The vintage silks, fun patterns, and handmade 7 fold construction is an experience one feels but is difficult to articulate with words.

The waiting times are worth it, for these are all made by hand and by a small team with a client list.

Gianni and his wife Marta are skill artist. Lovely fabrics and very high quality. It has been worth waiting for.

I ordered two ties and Gianni sent me two pieces of beautiful craftmenship. Til now I regularly bought Hèrmes ties. Now, having received those Gianni made, I ask myself why. His are much more valueable. This was my first but surely not my last order!

I found Passagio an absolute pleasure to deal with and to find someone who makes ties that are longer is and woth so much precision and still be handmade is extraordinary bravo !
