Honestly, it’s an average parking app, but since they’re pretty much everywhere in the DM(V) area, it’s a must have for self-drivers.

Clumsy new vehicle assignment when on vacation, and no refund capacity even within 30 seconds of realizing an error is frustrating. Designed to be punitive.

Easy to use
Easy to use, simple GUI, map could probably be a little more responsive but it’s well-suited to its purpose

Have the ease of adding time to your parking without worrying about making it back to the machine. I have not figured out yet how to add time to the machine. It says you can do it but I had enough problems fighting the ticket now because of a issue. So you know what I rather deal with this app

Used app to buy parking but it turned out my account was linked to an old license plate different car. This is NOT clear when you use the app - so got a ticket. These people must make hundreds of thousands of dollars every week from this mistake since the appeal process with local city is a big pain in the butt. Perfect example of sneaky tech enshittification !

ParkMobile in Tampa FL
ParkMobile in Tampa, FL.
We were in town from out of state meeting friends for dinner. We parked the rental car near what we thought was the correct restaurant. Within moments of paying for parking with ParkMobile we realized we were in the wrong location. I have reached out multiple times via emails to see how to be refunded only to receive emails from 'Carlos in Monterrey Mexico' that I need to contact the operators of said parking lot. No one knows who that would be. I called the City of Tampa parking div, and was told I needed to reach out to ParkMobile, the 3rd party.
I am still waiting for a solution.

Unfair Parking ticket using Parkmobile
We have two cars listed in the Parkmobile app. When we recently used parkmobile, the app defaulted to our other vehicle and we got a parking ticket. When we called the city of Tampa to appeal, they said this happens CONSTANTLY. Of course they denied waiving the ticket (but did reduce fine) even though we had proof of payment.
It would be nice if the app took some sort of ADDITIONAL EXTRA STEP to help users make sure the correct auto tag is being imputed. The reminder in place is not sufficient as evidenced by the city's constant dealing with this issue.
It might be nice to have Infrequent or inexperienced users take a picture or actually type in the tag number or put an extra big RED NOTICE THAT A WRONG TAG WILL RESULT IN A TICKET. I would rather be inconvenienced by an extra step here than to be inconvenienced later trying to unsuccessfully appeal an unfair ticket. And this would help frustrated city workers having to deny all those requests to waive parking fines for this mistake. Maybe you could get more users if you could improve this aspect.
PARKMOBILE APP DEVELOPERS PLEASE TAKE NOTE!! SAVE USERS AND CITY OFFICIALS TIME AND TROUBLE.!!!! COME UP WITH A BETTER WAY TO HELP USERS AVOID MAKING THIS APPARENTLY COMMON MISTAKE.
I had parked in Miami Beach at location…
I had parked in Miami Beach and there was no freight loading sign where I parked. It was unclear about the other adjacent loading signs. I found that it was loading signs before they put the Parkmobile signs. I had to pay 600$ in towing charges in rip off Miami Beach. This app and its signs on streets are misleading. Don’t trust their signs and park inside the garage instead.m
To add to the misery, I was a visitor and I was asked to pay in cash and first get a rental release letter which obviously can’t get on time. It was horrible ordeal that I had to deal with.
