WILL NEVER RETURN TO THIS HOTEL AGAIN!
WILL NEVER RETURN TO THIS HOTEL AGAIN!
Park inn by radisson Berlin Alexanderplatz
I arrived at Park Inn by Radisson on Sunday, 19th of April, and during my stay I was renting a Miles electric car. Every night, I charged the car outside the hotel so it would be fully charged for the next day.
The first morning, I woke up to find my car unplugged and a letter from security saying I could not park there when the car was unplugged. The problem is — I had not touched the car at all. I went to reception, and they told me they would make sure it would not happen again.
That same night, I plugged the car in again. The next morning? Unplugged again. Another letter.
I went back to reception for the second time, and again they told me they did not unplug it and promised it would not happen again.
Then, the next day, my boyfriend went downstairs to smoke. The car was plugged in. Only 20 minutes later, I checked the app — unplugged again. I went downstairs and found the car unplugged with yet another letter.
For the THIRD time, I went to speak to staff. This time, the manager came out, and he was absolutely rude, aggressive, and disrespectful. Instead of helping, he kept arguing with me, saying I could not park there and that they were getting complaints from other people. I have as much right to charge my car there as anyone else. He told me if I wanted to charge the car, I should go “around the corner” so others could use the charger too.
Mind you — every single morning, I moved the car to a different parking space. I was not leaving it there all day.
Later, they told me that in Germany you are supposedly only allowed to park for 3 hours at a public charger. However, when I checked the Miles website, it clearly stated that I could park there for as long as needed without any issue.
The worst part is that nobody clearly explained this to me from the beginning. They kept acting like I was the problem and basically told me to park far away from the hotel “in a corner.”
Later, I found out it was actually the security guard who kept unplugging my car and leaving the letters. Extremely disrespectful and unnecessary.
On top of that, when my boyfriend simply went downstairs to ask for towels and soap, the woman at reception was incredibly rude, had a disgusting attitude, and made him leave annoyed and frustrated.
Overall, the staff were rude, disrespectful, and unprofessional. The manager, who is supposed to handle situations professionally, was one of the worst parts of the experience. His tone was aggressive, dismissive, and honestly felt disrespectful—possibly because I am only 20 years old. I truly believe they would not have spoken to an older guest that way.
Terrible service, terrible attitude, and definitely not the level of professionalism you expect from a hotel like this.
I will never stay here again.
Hotel Park Inn by Radisson Berlin…
Hotel Park Inn by Radisson Berlin Alexanderplatz is, for me, a hotel with a wonderful ambience. Everything runs smoothly from check-in to the room, and I like the elevation and views from the top floors over the bustling surroundings.
Disgusting
I booked in on Friday 28th June and was staying until Sunday 30th June.
There was a slight smell of drains/sewers around the hotel and in it and it was unpleasant and over the weekend got worse and worse.
On Saturday 29th June at approximately 04:15, I was awake and went to make a cup of tea and the kettle started but then stopped and some of the lights went out as well but the TV remained on as did the iron I was using. The bathroom light did not work and I rang down to reception at 04:30 and asked if there was a problem with the electrics and reception told me that the electrics were fine downstairs and i explained i had a problem and explained what was and what wasnt working and he told me i should put the card in the reader and i found this patronising and rude as if the tv and some lights were working i clearly had done this. I told him so and his reply was what did i want him to do. I found this shocking, unbelievable and frankly disgusting.
I sat in my room unable to have a cup of tea or have a shower as the light didnt work in the bathroom and due to no windows was pitch black.
Eventually having heard nothing i put some clothes on and went downstairs and tried to discuss this with reception but yet again he was obnoxious and rude so I walked away because i was so upset and stressed by the situation and i had somewhere i was going that day and he was being unhelpful.
A while later i returned and asked about checking out and getting my money back for Saturday night and he said i would have to go through Booking.com and when i told them about the issue of the electrics and smell i was asked by the operator what I expected them to do about it and was unhelpful (a complaint is going in about them as well).
Without many options i spoke to him again and was offered room 512 and his attitude, tone of voice and manner was that i should be grateful he had upgraded me to a ‘superior room’ which again i found upsetting as there was clearly a serious issue in my room and couldnt stay there for health and safety reasons which health and safety was clearly not considered by him.
Due to all of this i didnt go to where i was supposed to be going and the reason i had come to Peterborough because the stress and upset reception had caused me i was in tears.
Later that day the smell of drains/sewers was so strong in and around the hotel i could taste it and smell it on me and my belongings which is disgusting.
I went outside for a cigarette and was sat on the benches outside reception and there were other people around and the level of smell was so strong, i started retching and then vomited twice. I felt embarrassed and ashamed as there was passing traffic and also people around. I have a phobia about vomit and was so distraught and when I spoke about this with reception but the person didnt care and made me feel stupid.
In the early hours of the morning i felt something on my arm and there was a centipede like bug thing only small on my arm but was crawling along my arm so i called down to reception and 4 attempts at calling were ignored an eventually answered by someone who eventually agreed to come up. The bug was still on my arm and just got off as i answered the door but i showed him the video i had taken of the bug and he kinda shrugged and i said i wanted to see the manager as i was extremely upset and they came up and told me i had probably got it from outside and i explained i hadnt been out for hours and had showered and was in bed when this thing crawled on my arm and he just dismissed me.
I had also mentioned to reception that my work phone was missing from my room to which he nonchalantly replied no one had been in there and whatever was on my work phone was only work stuff and would be replaced by work. I found this incredible he could be so blase.
My whole stay was shocking and disgusting and I am leaving a review to this effect on booking.com.
The smell of drains/sewers was so strong and i have had to throw out my suitcase, electric toothbrush and other items due to the lingering smell on them. It was the most disgusting stay I have ever had the misfortune to have.
Stayed at the Cardiff hotel
Stayed at the Cardiff hotel. Car park is extremely small and very difficult to park in if you have a large vehicle. Room was clean & presentable. I couldn't use the hairdryer as only sockets available were the ones built into the desk which prevented me from pushing the plug all the way into the socket as hairdryers have a thicker insulating cover at the end of the plug. Had to go down to breakfast with wet hair! Coffee was nice and breakfast was okay. Sausages nice and tasty, but scrambled egg was so dry, it was like a sponge! A very limited evening menu.
Park inn by Radisson Manchester city…
Park inn by Radisson Manchester city centre. Rooms not cleaned. Keys not working.
Not really good .
Be warned.
Nice place but worn down
Very interesting stay. Actually a nice hotel perfectly placed near Metro to reach airport and city. Staff friendly and professional. Parking is fine. Priced correctly this could be a good deal.
However the place is badly worn down and in severe need of paint and a general work over. No hot water in the room or ladies changing room by pool. Cleaning mediocre.
IT system broke down at dinner giving to few staff in the restaurant a bad time and the rest of us a three hour dinner. Breakfast was well staffed and OK.
Lots of potential but you need to shape up.
One word to describe it.. Awful
Stayed in the Manchester Park Inn. Do yourselves a favour an give this a miss. Horrible hotel thry don’t clean the rooms, take no notice of you when asking for assistance. Lockers in the changing rooms don’t work, Only booked it as it said it was a 4 star how they got that rating is joke. Worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in.
Stayed at the Berlin Radisson and they…
Stayed at the Berlin Radisson and they charge for cloakroom. Plus it’s a pretty basic rough room. Not what I would expect from the Radisson brand to be honest. I will avoid Park Inn branches in future.
DO NOT DISTURB….
Don’t forget the sign on your door before going to bed!! Woken up by cleaning staff standing in our room at 08.15 in the morning, checking if we had checked out, was unbelievable and totally unacceptable.
Our complaint to reception didn’t even receive a ‘sorry’, the male receptionist just shrugged his shoulders!
In breakfast we could hear other guests discussing the same situation regarding the cleaning staff & other reviews here and on other platforms over time have the same complaints. So the hotel is fully aware, but obviously don’t care.
For a hotel linked to the ‘Radisson’ name, it is desperately in need of a renovation. Several problems in the room were as a result of very poor cleaning (large spiderwebs & dust), other things need repairing or replacing. We were unable to get reply on the phone to reception on check-in day in order to complain, and the physical queue was crazy busy.
Customer service Priority One
I wrote a review about a week ago and I left .
An employee out this employee works at the Oakland Radisson. Vanessa helps out in the front. On this particular day the hotel was very busy with customers checking in and checking out . Or trying to find their way around the hotel or looking for the shuttle to get them to the airport
. Vanessa jump right in there and started assisting customers . Great teamwork from the girls up front Brianna Rochelle and Vanessa.
The Radisson Hotel in Oakland every employee I have come across always has a smile on their face and will greet you with a smile followed up with a " good morning " or even just a "hello" to me that's quality customer service. Thanks . Radisson Oakland

Nazi supporting hotel!
Nazi supporting hotel!
I was looking forward to a nice day in Copenhagen yesterday staying at this hotel. What I didn’t expect to meet in the hotel reciption was 200 neo-nazi’s and a lot of police. I of course checked out on the spot, and I hope nobody else will support this hotel. It isn’t safe for the people staying at the hotel or the local society to host nazis. If I could I would give Park Inn 0 stars.
