I'm giving this 1 star because I saw a sign that read that parking for the day was a set price of $2.00 per day. Yet, i was charged $2.72 3 times (the parking.com app kept telling me my time was expiring and then wouldn't let me do more than 2 hours at a time).

I was charged twice for the same day of parking.

Website UI is unfriendly, difficult to book. Should be able to book for 24 hours not until midnight. Customer service is offshore and unable to help.

Social authentication does not work, my perfectly valid credit card fails every time I try to use it, and the process is just cumbersome every time.

They refuse to fix the app to default to only 2 hours, when the lot is only all day parking at the Metra app (for the same price). It is like they made up their own rate that does not exist. App is difficult to navigation and change, and seems like they do this on purpose to trick people into feeling like they paid for parking, but I reality will ticket you without hesitation.
I submitted a ticket, and just got a dismissive response.

Plus, I have have been ticketed despite proof that I paid on the app. They refunded it, by why should I have to go through the hassle to correct their issue.

Could not get on line to access your website. Didn't know if I was going to have a ticket on my car when I got back after trying to get online for 2 hours.

I have been unable to update my credit card info for a week now. I am tired of having to pay daily rates because the website is broken.

It was very easy to log on and pay for my parking as I was in a hurry to catch the train so I didn't have time to stop and pay at the kiosk.

Unfortunate that I can’t pay via card at these parking machines and have to give my email and data just to pay for parking.

Saving login info doesn't actually stay logged it. Service charge is close to 40% of initial cost of spot.

The app defaults to 1 hour of parking, even though it’s a flat rate for the entire day (same price for 1 hour as all day). I didn’t notice that it defaulted to one hour, and got a ticket for having expired parking, even though I paid the same amount as all day.

The app is confusing and seems purposefully configured to trip you up. Be careful using it!

App very clunky and not easy to use. Not easy to progress through payment system.

Whilst the app did save my name and credit card information and did successfully charge me for the privilege of parking, the app is set to a default of two hours and this is a commuter railway lot for people who conservatively travel for ten to twelve hours a day. It is absurd to post signage to go to this website/app outside of a railway station and assume parkers will carefully consider how many hours they need parking. People traveling to work might need to stay late, they might unexpectedly meet coworkers for happy hour, trains might be delayed. No one in their right might would see this sign to go to parking.com to pay for parking and think that they haven’t paid for the full day. The app advertised at the Crystal Lake station works that way (and also works at this stop so I’ll not be using this again).

System was down and then only let me pay one day at a time. Please update software so can pick start and end dates and pay one time. I was there Tuesday- Friday. Had to go into your system everyday.
