Parcel shipping address was incorrect due to your system not having special signs- then your team recommended me to cancel at my own cost until I talked some common sense into them. Now I have a delay with my parcel probably not arriving on time due to parcel compare their mistake and wasting my time.

Technical glitches so the label didn't send, in contact with their chat function and emailing (7 responses so far, still no label). Do not use this company.

Last October, I purchased an international shipping service through the ParcelCompare website for a parcel measuring 42x33x42cm, and weighing 10 kg at the cost of £28.58. The service was drop-off, and would be fulfilled by UPS.
The package was delivered 10 days later, by a UPS van, and the amount of 69.13€ was paid to the driver in cash as the driver would not accept card payment.
Upon enquiry, the Import Brokerage Customer Service Representative of UPS stated that out of the 69.13€, 13.83€ was the import tax whilst the remaining 55.30€ was the brokerage service fee.
ParcelCompare, regrettably:
-Failed to provide important, easy-to-understand information relating to hidden additional charges, which in this case were the brokerage fees.
-The information I was given was lacking clarity and transparency, as I was not made aware that, apart from the import tariffs, brokerage service fees would also be applicable.
-I was not made aware of the cost of the brokerage fees, which actually exceeded the cost of the goods.
-I was not given the total delivery cost or how this will be calculated (excluding, of course, the import tax that depends on the destination country, which was not the point of contention, anyway).
It must be noted that:
-’ Brokerage Service fees’ are not set by the importing country but by UPS operating in that country.
-The UPS broker is a private company setting their own fee structures and is owned by UPS, which has control and knowledge of the brokerage fees charged on imported shipments. Consequently, as UPS is a ParcelCompare business partner, the services of whom the company markets and sells on their website, they have a legal duty to disclose all information about “standard charges” applied by their business partner upon delivery of the shipments, before purchasing the shipping service. Failure to do so allows UPS to charge exorbitant fees at their own discretion, gouging the customer for as many additional fees as they (presumably) can get away with.
-ParcelCompare failed to disclose or even mention these ‘standard charges' before purchasing the shipping service.
Under the Consumer Protection from Unfair Trading Regulations 2008, Regulation 6 (d) Misleading Omissions, ParcelCompare had a legal responsibility to have advised me as a consumer about the brokerage ‘standard fees’ charged by their business partner, UPS, in the country of destination.
ParcelCompare had a duty to advise me about:
(i) the price, including any taxes; that in this case is the UPS brokerage fee, or
(ii) where the nature of the product is such that the price cannot reasonably be calculated in advance, the manner in which the price is calculated, that in this case is, the methodology, formula or parameters based on which the UPS brokerage fee is calculated;
Under Regulation 10, A trader is guilty of an offence if he engages in a commercial practice which is a misleading omission under Regulation 6.
By failing to disclose the UPS brokerage fees at the Point of Sale, ParcelCompare demonstrated conduct constituting a prohibited practice. Consequently, I was misled to believe that the destination country import tariffs (that are not disputed) would be the only applicable additional charges.
Though unclear whether ParcelCompare receives commission from UPS for selling the specific service, they knowingly sold me a service by giving me half the information I needed to make an informed choice. As a result of loopholes in the system, including a lack of regulation, business partners UPS and ParcelCompare are allowed to take advantage of their customers. This disingenuous practice is professionally unacceptable.

What an absolutely terrible service. My box was damaged and arrived with a gaping whole so large that items had fallen out. After making a complaint (that has taken over a month to try resolve) they have given every excuse in the book to claim this was not their fault or responsibility despite their clear lack of care and poor handling. A cardboard box gaffa taped up isn’t damaged that easily, yet my box was bent, scratched and came with multiple holes and punctures yet they are not at fault! The damage must have happened magically then or maybe they simply stole the items, based on reviews missing items seem to be a pattern, who knows! Don’t use this company.

Wow this company is bad. I wish I had sent it via DPD directly rather than using these guys. So, I sent a parcel to China in January (which they failed to pick up the first time and i had to reschedule) then i had to chase and chase and chase the delivery as it went 6 weeks overdelivery time. then at the end of February they agreed it had been lost and they told me to fill out a claim form, which I did, and now they're just keeping me on a bit of string saying they're still investigating 4 weeks later. I've asked them what exactly they are investigating as they know it's gone missing and they just need to pay me the compensation but they just keep fobbing me off saying they're still investigating it. honestly, I would not use this company even though they are cheaper, in the long run you'll regret it. The worst experience i have ever had with a company. I booked packages on, had to cancel them but was still charged the full amount totalling £380. I've tried contacting them many times through so many methods but it seems they dont have a contact number or email!

Shockingly bad. This company does clearly do no research on what companies they put in front of the user ; they just take the percentage (that I am sure is involved in the transaction) and move on.
FedEx is a prime example. Absolutely shocking reviews , yet at the top of their search list. Will never use again. No one should; it’s a scam.

They lost my parcel. They didn’t even know where. USELESS.

I ordered a pickup from a hotel resort in Goa (India) and paid for it, It got collected 1 week after the date advised, then went to FedEx for an international delivery to the UK.
I got two FedEx tracking number (both the same) but the tracking icon never moved from the collection point for almost two weeks.
This morning I got a confirmation of a delivery to the destination address in the UK, but I was in all day but nothing, looking at the detailed collection and delivery information on FedEx it appears that my parcel never got delivered in the UK but never left India, they delivered it back to the Hotel where it was originally picked up from.
Parcelcare have now deleted all the information from my contact portal with them which I used to relay my many problems with this delivery. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY< go direct to a valid carrier, you pay a bit more but you get the item delivered.

was booked for 2 pcs of good collection, and didnt come, after 1 week they arranged UPS but only with 1 form. said will come next day. but got a update they refund the cancel this collection. I am suppose to collection within certain date to return my goods to the suppiler for refund! what a terrible company with no update. lost track and end up refund (not even a full refund) to me and try to end this.

I purchased package delivery but the website crashed after the payment and would not let me confirm the booking. I sent a chat message to technical support who didn't reply. I then had to purchase delivery on another website and over a week later I am still awaiting a refund. ParcelCompare have placed the transaction on hold so I Can't contact them anymore. I had to dispute the transaction with my bank as I have no faith in ParcelCompare. Such an effort to send a package.

Delivered with damage to the packaging, photos confirmed which meant we were not going to get full refund and Parcelcompare then made reasons/excuses for no compensation, only £30 to cover my loss. Extremely poor service especially in today’s world where Customer Service is paramount. Would never recommend

I wouldn't even rate 1 star, the trouble this pathetic company has caused me. Mentally and emotionally is unbelievable!
CEO need a trophy for brilliant customer care! Nobody has taken fault in losing or admitting liability for loss of product returned

Stay away, I've left a review before, currently going through court proceedings as they tried stinging me with a £1200 surcharge even tho they didn't deliver everything that was packed, save your hard earned money and do not use these,
Hopefully they'll shut down soon
SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM!!! Avoid at all cost! They take your hard earned money and don't send anyone to collect your parcels, then they charge you a cancellation fee!! Absolute joke of a company and you should be ashamed of yourselves!

Absolutely terrible organisation to work with. The carrier lost my item. Not Parcel Compare fault I grant you. But the hoops I then had to jump through to get a claim setup was simpky ridiculous.
Once the claim was eventually accepted the item was then was miraculously found, somewhat suspicious or merely circumsrance? And as it was returned to their depot they had the nerve to ask me to spend more of my money to have it returned to me rather than send it back to me free of charge many weeks later. The parcel was sent originally back in January. The cheek of it. Never shall I use this organisation again.

Totally a scam, dont waste your time and money. No contact, no email to contact. Sending a car seat to Poland but no one came to pick up, no update in progress, nothing, sitting at home like an idiot. Luckily I went to read the reviews so decided to cancel straight away and they will charge MONEY for cancelling, for doing nothing, what a laugh. Its not a lot for me because I only pay £25 and they took £5 for cancelling, but imagine they ll take more with bigger payment. Avoid at all cost everyone.

This company is a complete scam. Do not use. Go direct to the logistics company. My son sent a bumper via parcel compare using UPS. Its hard to measure a bumper due to its size and shape. The parcel was collected on time and delivered but a few weeks later he was charged with oversized parcel. They wouldn't tell him how much extra was due but had added two surcharges over max size totalling £1200. He could not contact customer services. He has now been contacted by a debt collector and they couldn't tell him what this extortionate fee is for. He would be happy to pay the extra incurred by UPS but not paying unreasonable surcharge fees. The item returned was only £90. They tried to take £1200 directly out of my sons account in the middle of the night which thankfully his bank declined twice. They are now trying to take him to court. Its a no from us and I'm sure the court will agree their surcharges are unreasonable and extortionate and not in their terms and conditions. No transparency and a complete and utter nightmare. My son is 19 yrs and being harassed daily and its just criminal. DO NOT USE THEM.
Complete failure charged. £70 to deliver a large parcel which was destroyed after being delayed for two weeks.48hr secice. Parcel farce keep that and hasn't been since. Parcel compare keep their fee despite utter failure. Everything is on the banned list so insurance is another scam. Be warned. Use Shiply.
