PAPA has been really helpful for my partner

PAPA has been really helpful for my partner who went through a traumatic divorce and has been alienated from his 4 children for 3 years. The support from other members as well as the resources has been a life saver and has helped him in knowing he’s not alone.

Finding PAPA came at one of the lowest…

Finding PAPA came at one of the lowest points in my life. When you’re going through parental alienation, it can feel isolating and hopeless — like no one truly understands. PAPA gave me something I desperately needed: understanding, strength, and the reassurance that I’m not alone.

The support and guidance have made a real difference to me emotionally and practically. I’m incredibly grateful for the work they do and the hope they give to parents like me.

A valuable source of support during a difficult journey

Going through family court and separation while trying to maintain a relationship with your child is one of the most difficult experiences a parent can face. Finding PAPA made a real difference to me during that journey.

What stood out immediately was the understanding. Everyone involved either has lived experience or genuinely understands the emotional and practical challenges of parental alienation and the family court process. You’re not treated like a case number — you’re treated like a parent who is fighting to stay in your child’s life.

The support, information and community they provide helped me feel less isolated and more focused at times when the system felt overwhelming. Just being able to speak to people who “get it” gave me strength to keep going.

I’m still in the process myself, but organisations like PAPA are incredibly important for parents who feel unheard, misunderstood, or alone.

If you’re going through anything similar, I would strongly recommend reaching out. Knowing you’re not the only one fighting makes a huge difference.

PAPA provides reliable and useful information and support

I found this site when I was searching for support groups for victims of parental alienation. I was already aware of the academic concept and recent legal controversies surrounding the issue. I am impressed with the balanced and evidence based information and support given by PAPA to people who are trying to find a way to repair the damage caused by PA on both children and previous attachment figures forcefully removed from their lives.
