Panda Drum Reviews 

Sadly the drum I purchased had several tongues that were tinny or flat. I purchased a different brand from Amazon for 1/3 the price, that sounds better. I think all your hype that you get what you pay for (ie the sound is better than any other cheaper drum) is over stated and misleading. I was willing to pay the higher price because I believed your claim. I was very disappointed... The panda drum was simply not worth the additional $100 I spent.

Would love to have a bigger one as well….maybe someday!

I was happy to order 2 of the mini Panda drums as Christmas presents for a neighbors children. I did not immediately open them but then realized I wanted to hear the very melodious sounds like in the ad. I only opened 1 and upon trying it, the sound was more tin like than melodious. I do believe the children will enjoy them though.

I gave this to my grandson for his 3rd birthday and it was a huge hit! In fact, his 9 year old sister became obsessed as well! Can’t go wrong with the Panda Drum. Kind of makes me want to get one for myself! Evidently, very calming. Highly recommend.

The drum arrived on time, looked nice, and came with a handy carrying case. Unfortunately, my grandsons only played with it a few times and didn’t get interested, so I decided to return it.

I was very upset to discover a $16.48 handling fee and a required return shipping label that would make the total return cost over $50.

After I posted a review expressing my frustration, the company called the next day. Their representative listened, acknowledged the unexpectedly high return cost saying they hadn't expected my return costs to be so much, offered a full refund, and waived the return shipping fee.

I’m sorry the drum wasn’t a hit with my grandsons, but the company earned five stars for its outstanding customer service!

I was surprised how quickly I received my Panda Drum! I ordered it and it arrived in less than a week!
I originally bought it for myself, but my 13 year-old daughter has already laid claim to it (LOL!) She put her tablet away just to play the drum! Very rarely will she give up her limited tablet time.
I really don't mind that she's claimed it for herself though... as long as I get to hear the beautiful sounds of the drum that's all that really matters. Also, anything that gets her off the darn tablet is a win in my book! It's so calming and relaxing, I'm seriously thinking of buying a second one.

I received excellent support and information on how to use the Panda Drum. I have grandchildren that are enjoying it as much as I am. It puts their minds in a happy place and mine too. I also came up with an idea for the trim around the drum and Lucy was extremely receptive of it and was going to share it with management. This shows that they take their customer ideas in a genuine way. From the time I made my purchase I received feedback and interest in my experience with the company, this is beyond unusual. They wanted to make sure that everything they did went well for me. Imagine if they take the time and do this for everyone, truly incredible customer "care" & professional help. Amazing, amazing company and team.

I love my Panda Drum! The tones are pleasant and helps me relax. It was easy to order and any question I may have had was answered promptly. My order was well packaged and I received updates as my package was in delivery. This company is very customer friendly and encourages feedback.

Purchased as a gift to my Son and his family living in Ireland. The three kids Grandmother is an accomplished Church organist. When my son was leaving for College at Texas A & M. I bought him a guitar and a VHS tape showing how to play a guitar. I told him to get a girl in College he would need a dog or play a guitar. Living in form would not allow dog. So he taught himself how to play. Now with drum he could teach his children. On day arrived, open box and not long later video called me. There sitting on living room floor was 5 year old with one hand playing “ Twinkle Twinkle Little Star”. Then then Grandson (6) with two hands played. The youngest is just 2 so think the drum will get played often.

I really couldn’t afford the Panda drum, but my 5 year old great granddaughter is having major problems calming down at home and at school and nothing was working. This thing is amazing and wish I could afford another one for her brother, but I can’t. They are trying to share but that doesn’t work too well. It is definitely worth the money.

The Panda Drum is beautiful and wonderfully made. My grandson.who is 3 and autistic took to it right away. We both enjoy playing it at the same time. Beautiful sound comes out of it. I highly recommend this drum.

My 10-year-old loves playing this to calm herself down. It's not too loud and it's not as frustrating as a traditional instrument.

I love my Panda drum’s soothing and varied sounds, it truly is meditative and centering, even after only a few minutes!

I bought these Panda drums for my daughter to use in her Alternative Learning classroom and she's excited to try them out. The quality of the drums that I bought are second to none and the care in packaging shows that the Panda Drum company is serious about their product.

The Panda Drum is so peaceful. Not loud at all. My sweet little guy can play it in the living room while we are watching tv and it’s not a bother at all! He is so calm and relaxed when he plays the drum.

My kids love it!! Highly recommend!!

I was originally not satisfied with my order in Dec 2025 and left a review stating that fact in Sept 2026 after finally opening the pdf songbooks.
Jesus from Panda Drum contacted me after my review. I was not very clear about what I was disappointed with and he was able to sort things out after a few phone calls and emails back and forth between us. I received 2 new drums and songbooks to match the mini drums I had purchased.
Jesus went above and beyond normal customer service and made things more than right with me. He was a pleasure to work with and I am totally happy with Panda Drum and highly recommend this product.

I bought two drums for my nieces. Age 7 and nearly 4. They were simply awestruck to receive them. The 7 year old Penelope said, ‘wow, this is a very special kind of toy…well it’s almost magical! The sounds make me feel like I’m floating on a cloud, and the next minute like I’m riding the gentle waves on the lake.’ The 4 year old Autumn said, she felt ‘like her whole body was smiling…and the kitty liked it too!’ These drums will be carried through their lifetimes, never to be outgrown. Can any ‘toy’ claim that? Simply Ageless. After the birthday party the parents were caught creating their own unique tones bringing the evening to a serene, gentle close. The girls then insisted on taking the drums to bed with them, and drummed themselves to sleep. These instruments are in fact truly magical!!!
