The microwave is defective and wobbles… panasonic won't honour the warranty

The microwave is defective and wobbles as feet are not level. This appears to be an issue with the shape of the metal underneath rather than the rubber feet themselves. Because I opened the microwave after 6 months (new house with a lot of work needed) I asked for panasonic to replace as part of the warranty which states "we provide a minimum of one year's cover for all products"... "this includes genuine manufacturing defects". However they have refused to help because I did not raise this in 1st 30 days. Would not pay a premium to buy from them again as their product quality and customer service are this poor.

OLED TV 65Z60AEB - many problems from day 1

What we all expect from a new TV is to plug it in and enjoy it. Unfortunately, this was not my experience with Panasonic.
I bought the OLED TV 65Z60AEB in July 2025, and I experienced several problems right from the start. The first issue was the remote control, which frequently doubled numbers when selecting channels, making it very frustrating to use. Shortly after, the TV began switching itself off and back on, interrupting viewing for no apparent reason.
I eventually managed to resolve these issues through extensive troubleshooting, which should not be necessary with a brand‑new TV.
However, over the past few months, a new problem has appeared. Every hour, a warning message pops up stating that the TV needs to perform the OLED picture optimisation process after every four hours of viewing. This constant interruption significantly affects the viewing experience and is unacceptable for a premium television. After numerous Whatsapp chats they are taking it for a repair service. But that's not what you expect from new TV.
Overall, this TV has been far from “plug and play” and has caused ongoing frustration from day one. Based on my experience, Panasonic has failed to meet basic expectations for reliability and quality.

Service not on the agenda

I bought a small TV from Panasonic Direct in June last year. It has broken down twice now. The first time in December and the customer service was clumsy and protracted but after a few weeks my screen and a circuit board were replaced and started working again. Exactly the same fault and I have been pushed from "UK Support' to a contractor (DK Services) with neither taking responsibility to act. I am now dealing with an AI bot that keeps thanking me for my patience but still awaiting action. Very disappointing.

I was going to by a Panasonic item but...

I was going to buy a Panasonic microwave, as there was a 30% Off er on until 23 March 2026. The provided code didn't work, and you could only contact Panasonic via WhatsApp. I couldn't be bothered with all of that, and then saw all these negative feedbacks on Trustpilot. I have had numerous Panasonic items in the past; TVs, cameras, CD players and have always been impressed. However, if the recent Feedback is accurate, then it looks like the Company has declined rapidly in quality and customer care. Glad I found out before I purchased.

Bought some technics earbuds which…

Bought some technics earbuds which became faulty raise the issue 3 weeks ago . Multiple cases open as you speak to someone over what's app . Agents say you will get a call back never happend . Panasonic has received the faulty items but no refund issued even though they offered me the choice of a replacement or refund . Still can't get anywhere with WhatsApp or the UK customer support . They say I'm due to have a call back from a manager but still hasn't happened. Neither did the promised phone call from a week ago . Won't give them my custom in future .

Panasonic Inverter NN-SF464M

For years I have been buying Panasonic Inverter Microwaves, but once my current one fails I will never buy another one. Its so clunky. The previous replacement went back because there was staining on the left hand side of the internal oven case and when in use it was clunky, it sounded as if there was a turntable rotating, but it doesn't have one. The replacement for it when I returned the new one doesn't have the internal staining on the internal case, but it's very noisy. Something has either gone wrong with the manufacturing process or a batch has got damaged in transit/storage. Panasonic used to have a symbolic name, but not anymore.

Dont waste your money

"I must highlight that in newer models the door is always a little bit misaligned, and this is a part of the design so we cannot guarantee that any other unit will look different"

This message from Panasonic customer care didn't fill me with confidence in response to my request for a replacement combination oven due to the door not fitting square. They refused to exchange it though I stated I have had a panasonic combi oven for many years and know exactly what the door should look and sound like!

Customer care is a joke. 40 minutes on live chat (really) as they messaged me to say they had a resolution in response to my negative review on their website. After 40 minutes they said they will get back to me when they have a resolution!!

Wish I had read all these negative reviews before I spent £250

Purchased a Panasonic shaver

Purchased a Panasonic shaver from Amazon. Realised there wa no cleaning brush included so contacted Panasonic. No phone number available so had to do it all on WhatsApp. after ages of unhelpful discussions I was told I had to go to Amazon. Phoned Amazon who were very helpful and said as it was. Faulty product I could either return the who package for refund or go direct to Panasonic. Decided to return to Panasonic, big mistake. Another long unhelpful chat and basically they refused to do anything without a copy of a VAT invoice. Finally found it and sent it to Panasonic. Had to repeat all the details I had given in the earlier thread. With any luck I might see this brush eventually. I would they did offer to sell me one, which probably costs them pence.

Absolutely awful experience buying from…

Absolutely awful experience buying from Panasonic.

Ordered a 65"Oled tv which would really have finished off the look I wanted following some renovation. Tv looked the part but not long after switching on it became glitchy and sometimes 90% of the screen went black (still had sound). I tried factory reset and many different hdmi's but still the same result. I had no choice but to seek their advice for repair.

The customer service was delivered in a very friendly way but they refused to believe their product was faulty. They told me to try the above options which I already had done. Obviously I still had the issues. So again I asked them to repair or replace as was still brand new and under warranty. They still tried to blame things like my sky box so I tried my old tv. No issues whatsoever.

Eventually they sent an engineer who came to my house and said it needed a new main board. Finally I'd been given some justification for my complaints. So now I had to send the tv back to panasonic.

I had agreed to a replacement tv as the deal was so good, to get another oled would have cost me a lot of extra money. The tv arrived safely and they then sent me a message to say they have no models to send me to have issued a refund. That was not what I agreed to so said they'd have to give me another model but not a downgrade. The reply was they couldn't do that but could offer me 10% off another (I'd still have to fork out another £600. So I decided to take the full refund and go elsewhere. This has taken around 5 months to sort out btw.

I will not be getting another panasonic item in my house. Lesson learned. Steer clear is my advice.

Rusting Microwave oven less than 2 years old…

Microwave oven less than 2 years old and internal roof coating rusting and flaking off. Panasonic do not entertain the possibility that there is anything wrong with their coating or fan system and blame user for creating condensation while cooking and using full power for too long. Only ever used to heat frozen veg / porridge in microwave steamers for max 5 minutes as per other microwaves over last 30 years and all lasted at least 4 or 5 years. Dreadful customer service, asking for full personal contact info before rejecting out of hand any possibility of a manufacturing defect. No wonder Panasonic has such a poor customer service rating.

The site looks like a scam

The site looks like a scam. I bought a £500 camera from them and it turned out to be faulty. The Wi‑Fi and Bluetooth for transferring pictures didn’t work. They asked me to return it so their technician could check it. I sent it back at the beginning of November. Their technician later said it needed a repair and that it would cost me £180, even though the camera was under warranty. When I asked for a refund because the camera was faulty from the start, they refused. They claimed they had already repaired it and sent it back to me. I was outside the UK at the time, and the camera got lost. Now they blame Royal Mail. I am still waiting for my money, since November 2025. What’s even more frustrating is that they are extremely polite when you speak to them always saying “we’re here to help” and similar things but in reality nothing gets resolved.

Awful company & products

Awful company & products. Bought a microwave for my new kitchen & when my kitchen was finished tried it out. Sounds like it is taking off with horrible loud noise. Called CS & no offer of a replacement just a long drawn out process of sending photos. This product is not fit for purpose & was never used so will end up doing a charge back from my credit card. Back to Samsung for another microwave. AVOID

Poor Panasonic customer service.

I have just bought a Panasonic NN-CD88QS microwave and as it is similar to my old Panasonic microwave, I was at first impressed. It advises you register your machine, but it won’t accept my receipt from John Lewis, where I purchased my microwave online. I rang Panasonic customer service and advised them of the problem. She just responded you don’t need to register at all, just keep a copy of my purchase receipt. Most strange as I am subsequently receiving emails prompting me to register!
I also found there are absolutely no instructions with my microwave, just a prompt to scan the QR code. This is meant to reveal full instructions for use. The microwave has an air fryer integrated within it yet when you go to the part where the air fryer is laid out, it says ‘this part is no longer available’. I have never owned an air fryer, certainly not one within a microwave so how do you find out how to use it? No guide of time limits, nothing. I am less than impressed with Panasonic and it’s so called online user instructions. As my last microwave was a three in one model, I can figure out how to do various functions but not the air fryer. Lucky for me Google has the answer with various videos guiding people along but I shouldn’t have to rely on third parties to help me. Not impressed with Panasonic at all. The microwave was £379 but my neighbour bought a Samsung and she had everything needed for successful cooking.

No Telephone Line Connector

Purchased a new telephone and answering machine for my 82 year old uncle. Purchased because the product was described as especially suitable for older people with the large buttons and easy display.
However it doesn’t come with a telephone lead. What is the point of supplying a telephone product without the means to connect it to the telephone line.
If that is the case it should be clearly identified in the description before you purchase it

Panasonic NN-CS89LBBPQ - Microwave (DO NOT BUY)

In recent years I have purchase two Panasonic high end microwaves costing over £500 each (Combination Steam Microwave Oven NN-CS89LBBPQ).
Each has developed severe rust within two years of purchase, the current microwave has also developed an issue with the door not fully closing resulting in microwave leakage. The grill has also stopped working after an electrical short which resulted in smoke coming out of the microwave, this could be extremely dangerours if the microwave is under a kitchen storage unit. Potential of fire spreading.
Despite the current microwave still being under Panasonics warranty, they state faults have been caused by me and therefore not covered by the warranty.
I would advise not purchasing these microwaves, they are not value for money and a serious fire risk.
Having looked at other options, I will replace the Panasonic with either Samsung or Sage.

Dont Trust the Panasonic Brand

I bought a refurbished 55 inch tv listed on eBay by a company purporting to be the genuine Panasonic outlet 12/8/2025.
They used the genuine Panasonic logo and all the listing seemed in order.
The tv stopped working by November 2025 so I telephoned the company getting the number from the bottom of the listing page.
It was not Panasonic but GXO Servicetech who refused to collect the tv unless it was in the original box. I live in a one bedroom flat so the box could not be retained and GXO Carl Troy refused the return.
I chatted to Panasonic online until I sent them the eBay item number.
Panasonic ( 49193) are not related to Panasonic at all but a repair company.
My advice would be to avoid.
If I can deliver the tv to the nearest genuine Panasonic service centre at my cost, I can get the tv repaired but then I need to collect it.
The nearest service centre is twenty- five miles away and I dont have a car.
I now that the Panasonic brand has gone and that this once trusted brand has their tvs made by a lesser company called Vestel.
I will never trust the Panasonic brand again
