Do not place orders with them - dodgy company

Do not place orders with them
they lie to you in basically everything they do.
They destroyed my TV and even though it was insured with them, after 3 months !!!! they tried a settlement of 150€

despite the comment below, i was not paid for the damaged Item. the TV is worth around 500€ ( it was pretty new) and all i got offered is a settlement of 150€ and the worst, I did NOT sign this and i was NOT provided any documentation to claim this. on top they came with this settlement ( i still dont have the money) after 3 months)

They say I got compensated but this is not true at all; neither that I signed a clean delivery bill

you were paid in full for the damaged item, I have explained everything to you.

you signed the delivery note as "received in good condition" then expect the insurance to pay for ALL your goods, doesn't work like that, you got paid in full for the TV replacement, the insurance company will not pay for EVERYTHING to be replaced

Don't place ORDER!!

We placed a order to pick up goods from UK and Deliver to Switzerland.
We payed 400£ in advanced. Now he did gladly not pick up the goods but we lost 400£.
Phone Number is NOT working. And on the E-Mails Mr. Rhondda MacDonald is not answering for months now. I guess we have to organize a lawyer to get our Money back.

DON'T PAY ANYTHING. DON'T book anything at this company or Rhondda MacDonald!

ANSWER TO YOUR ANSWER:
it is now picked up by some one else - it took 2 Days. And its ok. So no problem. Just with you and you did not send my money back. You have now time 10 Days to do so. If not I will contact a lawyer and get my money + expenses. Up to you. The 1START is actually to many but can't do 0.

Poor service from the start and made worse by incompetent courier dropping my aga on its face on his tail lift!! He then tried to hide the fact and even forged the my signature to say item was received In good condition as the form I filled and signed highlighted the damage caused.been trying to get compensation to help repair the £2800 with of damage caused, have been dealing with Rhondda Macdonald who is insisting insurance are not going to compensate despite me having witnesses and photos of the driver dropping it and me highlighting it on the delivery note!!all the while I have been without a kitchen. No one calls and email replies are slow. I have asked for the companies details so I can try and get compensation through small claims court but no reply as of yet. Please please scroll passed these cowboys

Delivered my item damaged, then collected it from my customer never to be seen again. No compensation, hundreds of emails and phone calls ignored. Bailiffs couldn’t find the address they provided because it doesn’t exist.

I ordered a pallet collection but no …

I ordered a pallet collection but no longer wanted the service. The company made a prompt refund into my account without any trouble.
I would say that there seemed to be.an error on the website that I had nowhere to input the delivery address. This needs amending. Also I was unable to make contact by phone but fast response by email from Rhonda. I would give this company a chance and not be put off by bad reviews as they were happy to refund me and didn't try to rip me off or mess me around.

Not again

I payed for a full pallet to be transferred from Milan to London, I packed everything and rapped the pallet, when they came to pick it up they untapped the pallet as I didn't use a EUROpalet and they didn't came with a forklift, but a manual forklift which been thicker and couldn't get in my pallet on the track. The driver threw each box into the track and without me signing any type of document he left, telling me that everything is fine, and that they will wrap everything as it was their mistake as they didn't mention the manual forklift. (FRAGILE on my boxes).
After a week I got an email saying that I had to pay £300 more for the extra survives of 1 more pallet + wrapping of 2 pallets + 2 EUROpallets. I didn't pay straight away as I was trying to make them understand that my stuff fit in one full pallet, and that the mistake was not mine. In every email they've been threatened me that they do hold my staff and want transfer them unless I pay.
I spoke with my loyer which he also contacted them but never had a reply.
After all I payed the amount cause I wanted my staff, which Came on time, but half of my vases been broken, and some boxes been open, with my staff hanging out....
Trust me, you better pay something more to another company rather than loosing your money and your things.

Thank you for your review, however you are not providing the correct details for your booking.
We were contracted to collect your items from Milan, items need to be secured to the pallet for transit to avoid any damages.

The driver arrived to collect the pallet but it EXCEEDED the maximum allowance and simply would not go on the vehicle as it was too high. Your items were split down onto two pallets making it possible to transport your items safely from Milan to Italy.

As you had only paid for 1 pallet to be collected and it turned out to be 2 pallets of items - there if of course the additional shipping costs to pay - this information is clearly laid out in our terms and conditions of carriage. Your stuff did fit on one pallet as you have said - however your stuff was way too high.

The vehicles don't come with fork lift trucks - but manual pallet pump trucks, this is standard procedure for the haulage industry, therefor the comment regarding the driver not having a fork lift truck is irrelevant along with the use of a euro or standard pallet size - we accept both for transporting goods throughout Europe.

We have also not made any threats to you. We did advise that the additional charges incurred needed to be paid before we could make delivery. For example you don't pop to the post office with 2 letters but only 1 having a stamp on it and just expect the letter to be delivered regardless - the same applies to pallets.

With regards to the damages - our apologies to you if any of your items incurred damage during transit, you can simply contact us and advise us of this, this is the first time we've been informed of any damage being incurred, your goods are covered by the standard RHA Road Haulage Association, we simply need to be told so we can raise a claim with our insurers.

Worked for me

If I'd gone by Trust Pilot reviews, I wouldn't have used this company but, instead, I used them because they will transport engines - we had been let down at the last stage of booking with another company. My initial booking form (and PayPal payment) was returned as I had not noticed there was a 12-00 surcharge for home (rather than industrial premises) collections. This is, apparently, to ensure a smaller truck is sent. And we did get a smaller Palletline truck although the driver claimed not to know of the requirement. I booked just before 11:00 and the truck collected the following afternoon. Communication with Rhondda at Pallet Courier was good and the shipment was delivered in the allocated time. Nice truck, helpful driver, pallet lift supplied, no whinging about packing or motor parts. Would use again.

Hi
That is correct with collections of engines and/or gearboxes - they need to be booked on our "residential engine / gearbox service".
Garages, scrap yards or other car part dealer shipments go with a different carrier than any other property be it a warehouse or a residential address.

Our standard carrier (palletways) will only accept collections of engines / gearboxes from garages, scrap yards or other car part dealers --- they review each collection point and senders have to be approved by them before they will make the collection.

Whereas our carrier for the "residential engines / gearboxes" will collect from all other properties - however as some residential addresses are difficult to access they use smaller vehicles which are not as cost effective as a 40' lorry would be, hence the small charge to cover these overheads.

We do apologise if you feel you have had a bad experience with us - everything was explained clearly in our correspondence that you had booked on the wrong service - no service was provided as you did not want to pay the extra cost, a full refund was issued immediately.

However, thank you for your review - we will look into making the notes on residential collections easier for customers to understand to hopefully avoid repeats.

Hi
thank you for your review.

We received your booking and immediately advised you that you had booked on the wrong service and that your order was on hold awaiting a reply from you if you wanted to proceed and pay the extra £12 for residential engine collection or cancel the order and have a full refund. You took 4 days to reply to us by which time we had refunded your money and cancelled your order.

If we do not hear from customers within 3 days we will always refund the money paid for the service and cancel the booking to enable the customer to decide on how to proceed.

DO NOT USE. TERRIBLE SERVICE AVOID

We have been sending pallet for many years. We have struggled with our last courier and decided to use the pallet courier online service. I was attracted to the low prices. What a mistake.

They collected over a week late. By that time I had used another company. They collected another pallet a wrong one. What a mess. Could not get through to anyone on the phone. I had sent numberous emails with no reply.

I paid via paypal hoping for some protection and what a mistake again. They argued they had moved a pallet and I didnt get a penny back.

Gary and Rhonda you are scam artists hiding your location and contact details.

Hi Ben
Thank you for your review, we appreciate your comments.

I have taken a look over the correspondence for your order and can add to your review above the following:

30th March your order was received - no details of pallet contents so we contacted you immediately to request this information, you replied the following day to advise:
"The pallet has used car parts. They are free from oil and are clean. Ben"
We asked you to confirm the parts were packaged as per the "packaging guideline" emailed to you - you took a further 2 days to confirm this to us.

Once we had confirmation from you - we proceeded to arrange for your collection and delivery, this was completed within the timescales we notified you of and on the exact dates we advised.

Your pallet was collected and scanned onto the vehicle at:
Scanned on to vehicle pmcs113 at depot 107 TRUNK RUN 08/04/2015 @21:25pm

The delivery depot called to arrange the delivery with the recipient:
BOOKED IN 10/04/2015 17:00 - Ref: X, Name: JASON 09/04/2015 @12:12pm

The pallet was then scanned out of the hub and onto the vehicle the following day for delivery, a proof of delivery has been provided to you also:
CLEAN POD 4102 - Signed by: Summer @ 16:51 2015-04-10 10/04/2015 @16:51pm

Ben - we are not scam artists, we did ship your pallet and provided this information to paypal. I would advise that you contact the "other company" to get your money back as they clearly have not provided the service you paid them to do.

We provided the service - we need to be paid for this, we are unfortunately not in the position to provide free services. Thank you again for your review.

Hi
Thank you for your review.
I have gone through the correspondence relating to your order and can see that we did request a photo of the items on the pallet - as with other reviews above, engines and gearboxes do need to be packaged correctly to avoid leakages on other peoples pallets and vehicles, leakages can cause major damage which is costly to clean up.

We have had engines and gearboxes leak onto pallets containing food items and clothing for example, who would be responsible for paying compensation to the owner of the pallets damaged by a leaking engine/gearbox? certainly not the fault of the depot, driver or ourselves - however, do you think the shipper would pay? not likely!!!

This is the reason we need to ensure that the item is properly packaged and secured to the pallet for transit - this is for your benefit also, if the depot pick up and the engine does leak in the vehicle or depot - then the depot will retain the pallet until the clean up charges have been paid, this can be anything up to £100 depending on the amount of damage caused.

We did not collect your pallet as you would not provide the photo evidence to us that the engine was packaged correctly - maybe it wasn't packaged correctly for transit so you could not provide the photo!!!

Therefore we cancelled your order, notified you of this and refunded you in full....we do not charge if the service has not been completed..
