Ignored and lied to
The good: It's legit. I ordered several large moving boxes to be shipped from Denmark to the UK with UPS and they were delivered in reasonable time.
I had some pretty unique customs requirements and there was always someone available by phone or email to help me with this.
The bad: The collection of my parcels that I paid for never happened. I had to hire a car to take several large and heavy parcels to a UPS access point at the last minute (luckily there was this option) because I was moving country in a couple of days. Hence I incurred significant extra expense and disruption.
I rang UPS to ask why the collection never happened and they told me the collection service was never booked by pakke.dk. At this point, the previously responsive agent was completely unresponsive to my emails. I had to email several times to different email addresses and got a reply a week later. He said he'd spoken to UPS who told him that somebody turned up to collect the parcels but "couldn't find them". I was home all day and nobody arrived. I rang UPS to double check and they confirmed that there was no collection service booked for my order so I am being ignored AND lied to by pakke.dk.
The line I am getting now is:
"your parcels arrived so what's the problem?"
The problem is I had to take time off work and pay 20 times more than the price of the collection service to hire a car to deliver the parcels myself. Luckily short-term rental cars and UPS access points were abundant where I live or I'd be completely f*cked and would be moving back to my home country with none of my stuff.
