Overcharged

Absolutely astonished

I recently took a journey across London which due to unforeseen events took longer on the return, for some reason TFL have overcharged both myself and my sister (same journey but each a different amount)

I tried to contact them to resolve this as it is clear from my account that they have charged me twice for the return, rather than investigating and cancelling the duplicate fee they keep referring to the delay repay and telling me to contact the train operator (I crossed London, there were 2 mainline and the Underground) - they are the operator as it has failed in zone 1, they also issue the Oyster card

The delay is a separate issue and not the reason for contacting them, I am highly unimpressed as I am out of pocket due to their error and getting nowhere with them

No alternative but to escalate the matter

TfL student photocard

My experience with the TfL student photocard process was extremely negative. Before I finally figured out how the system works, I spent hours searching online because there is no clear, accessible guide that explains what you actually need to do after receiving your student photocard. Nothing is highlighted properly, and nothing is explained in a straightforward way.

When I contacted customer service, the representative didn’t just fail to give me a simple explanation, he actually offended me. Instead of guiding me through the steps, he asked me if there was “someone close to me who could break this down” for me. That is insulting. It’s unacceptable for a customer service agent to speak to anyone like that. All he could do was repeat the same phrase, word for word, three times, even after I clearly said from the beginning that I didn’t understand what I was supposed to do.
The phrase was: "you need to buy a weekly, monthly or yearly travel pass and link it to your student photocard. If you top up the card you will not receive the discount." Imagine if I just landed in London and I'm not familiar with travel pass or any other TFL cards.
For clarity: once you receive your student photocard, you must go into your online account, choose a travel pass, select your zones, complete the purchase, and then go to any station to load it onto the card (the credit becomes available about 30 minutes after purchase). None of this is obvious, and none of it is explained properly by TfL. If you top up your card as any other TFL card, the discount is not applied.

In my opinion, If TfL sells a student photocard, then any credit (top up) should automatically apply the discount. Students shouldn’t have to dig through 52 pages of terms or deal with rude staff who can’t explain their own system.

TfL needs to fix both the system and the way their representatives speak to people.

£160 fine for being blocked by reckless drivers on a box junction for 10 SECONDS..."if you pay within 14 days it's only £80"....utter filth.........if you're so vigilant with your CCTV, you should notice when drivers have to react to the behaviour of others....TfL doesn't take context into account...thieving scum, from top to bottom.

Shame on you

Shame on you TFL. It's not enough with the tube strike that you make our experience even worse with the buses. Leaving us midway home (Bus was rerouted ) without explanation and cancelling all the buses that come after during more than 30min. What kind of service is this? And for such a big price.
Again, shame on you.

* Piccadilly Line service

* Piccadilly Line service: Heathrow - London Centre *

During the long weekend – engineering works.

After that – strike action.

Then, once again – track works.

When will this nonsense stop and regular service between Heathrow and central London finally be restored?

The constant disruption is becoming extremely frustrating for passengers who rely on the line.

Miserable TfL

Got ripped off by Black Cab (Number 128662) at Heathrow

Caught a Black Cab (Number 128662) from Heathrow to Travelodge in Heston on the 18th March 2026 and was charged 102 pounds when I'm told by Travelodge that the fare should have been 35 pounds (approx). I was given some lame excuse about roadworks as the reason for the extended route. Ive complained to Transport for London but to no avail. This was the response from TFL "I’m sorry to learn that the driver has given you a reason to contact us with a complaint. Following my colleague’s email, I sincerely apologize for your experience and for any stress this incident may have caused you.
We always expect our licensees to behave professionally and to comply with the regulations. The behaviour you described doesn’t meet our expectations, it's disappointing to learn the driver let you down on this occasion.
We have now completed a full investigation of your complaint and appropriate action has been taken .
I would also like to inform you that there are three standard tariff periods applied depending on the day of the week and the time of day you travel. The fare also depends on the traffic on the route taken. . As your journey took place on Wednesday at 16:30 PM, Tariff 1 was applicable. I can confirm that the fare charged falls within this tariff." I wonder what "appropriate action" was taken?

Absolutely disgusting service on…

Absolutely disgusting service on Elizabeth Line. Coming back from Central London not only the trains delayed by half an hour, but we all made to run from platform 2 in Chadwell Heath to platform 4 and back to platform 2 to catch a train.
The prices we are being charged for the travel and the service provided are truly disgusting!
SHAME ON YOU TFL!

Ignorant driver stopped the bus for a cuatomer who refused to pay and waited at the bus stop for a few minutes and made many other paying customers leave because of his pride. Then later on left paying customers at bus stop. Giving up on the customer who refused to pay. This was a 36 going to new cross gate between 11:40 - 11:55 am on Monday 1st June.

RIDICULOUS CHARADE for 2 disabled persons because of cras unhelpfulness and inefficiency with their overall misinformation

Shockingly unhelpful and inefficient (with the exception of most of the bus drivers who were brilliant) this company supposedly running buses in and around central London do not appear to know what they are doing. Their tflgo app peddles useless and false “information “ which in the case of myself and another differently disabled person left us stranded in Dalston and unable to get home to Newington Green last night until 2am in my case - by travelling all the way to Wood Green and then back down on a 141 bus towards London Bridge. RIDICULOUS - a total charade to have to wait almost 3 hours u necessarily.

I have rang this company several times and spoke to a few people which wasn’t any help to me whatsoever. I rang this morning and spoke to her a lovely lady and she explained everything that you’re having problems with iCloud and she’s sending me forms in the post to take to the post office. She is a credit to you and what a lovely lady.. and a member of staff you need more like her understanding helpful.

I couldn’t go less than one star!

I couldn’t go less than one.
Over 30°C, no AC, stuck on the Jubilee line (12:40pm 30/05026) for more than 25 minutes, and not even a single announcement explaining what’s going on.
Honestly one of the worst and most expensive services in the world.
Thanks, London Mayor!
Shame!!!
