The man in this shop gave me extremely useful, very knowledgeable and detailed advice about my HiFi system even though, in the end, it involved my buying none of their products. I highly recommend them.

Oxford Audio Consultants offered me a truly exceptional service. I went to them for help and advice in buying a new music system. I had an idea of the sort of sound I was looking for and a budget, but I had no knowledge of the variety of options available.
The company stocks a large selection of the very best in audio technology. They have selected the companies they want to work with and they know them inside out.
Over many months I popped into the shop listen to different configurations that the staff had set up for me in one of their special acoustic rooms. They asked me to bring a range of music I knew well, allowing me to compare amplifiers, dacs and speakers; progressively refining my selections until I found the combination I was happy with.
The staff were extremely knowledgeable about the products they were selling. But they were also unusually forthright about the need to choose for myself, discussing openly with me their own very different tastes in audio sound and showing a great deal of curiosity in how I reacted to different equipment. They encouraged me to listen to equipment at very different prices. I never felt pressured to buy or that they were disappointed if I didn’t choose the most expensive option.
In short the staff at Oxford Audio were very honest and professional but they also took great care of me which is all too rare in business.
I recommend them very warmly.
