I found McGivern during an online search for a loose diamond for my wife as we were celebrating our 20th wedding anniversary. After looking at dozens of jewelry stores and many websites I found McGiverns. It took maybe 10 minutes on Michaels site to find a stone that looked great. I made a call to the phone number listed and had Michael on the phone! We had a brief conversation, he sent me a link on how to order a stone, it arrived in a couple days and my wife is thrilled!

This is my second purchase from Mike. Just like the first time, Mike was very prompt and courteous, and gave his honest, expert opinion on diamonds. The quality of the jewelry is A+, and priced far better than in stores.

Mike found exactly what we were looking for in a diamond and his prices cannot be matched. I took the specs of the diamond to a respected local jeweler and was told they could not beat his price for a similar diamond. We gave Mike a design for an engagement setting and it was perfect in every way. My father referred me to McGivern after I had visited a few local chain stores. I had already settled on a ring, but I figured I would check out McGivern. I'm very glad I did. I sent them a picture of the ring I was about to purchase, and they matched me with one very similar. The price was lower, and the quality was better. I wanted him to make a new setting for my diamond ring. I had an idea of what I wanted and Mike, very patiently, worked with me until I was happy with the design. He even had a wax model made for me to look at before I gave him the 'go-ahead'.
The end result is fabulous!

We found a picture of a unique customized ring and Mike was able to duplicate and come in cheaper than a competitor. The service was outstanding , prompt and Mike keeps you informed. The ring was very detailed and the CAD design was so precise down to every round diamond and miligrain. We highly recommend McGiverns you can't go wrong and look forward to our next purchase.

I had such a great experience with my first diamond purchase from Mike for a matching diamond to complement my old engagement ring that I was turning into a pair of earring and without any hesitation, I emailed Mike again when it came time for another diamond purchase.

I had a budget in mind that I wanted to spend on a 2+ carat cusion cut diamond with a customized platinum halo setting and Mike went above and beyond in finding me the perfect stone to go with my customized setting, which the designer did a fabulous job on. I've been getting nothing but raved reviews on the final ring and that always makes a girl happy.

Mike's prices are very competitive and if anything, probably cheaper than his competitors when I was looked around for prices. What makes Mike stands out a mile from his competitors is his prompt and honest response and opinion. He doesn't just want you to buy from him once, he wants to build a long term relationship with all his customers and I'm happy to say I'll be emailing him again when it comes time to another diamond purchase.

Mike made ring shopping easy! I sent him a picture of a similar ring design I had in mind and described a couple changes in design I wanted and he executed the changes perfectly. Also gave him a budget I wanted to work within for the entire ring and he made it happen! My fiancé absolutely loves her ring, tells me every day as she gazes at it. I have Mike to thank for that! I had all but put my credit card information in to purchase my soon to be fiancé's engagement ring from a wholesale online jewelry store, when my hometown family reminded me of the jewelry they have used Perrysburg, OH. After a brief search online and price comparisons I saw how much inventory and styles McGivern had available for me to choose from along with their very competitive prices.

After about a week and half of emails with Michael (yes the owner takes the time to answer the phone and return my emails promptly), we thought we'd found the right stone and setting. After completing the sale, that night I found another stone online at another online wholesaler, and the following day I asked him to compare the two GIA certificates to see if it was worth looking at. He was honest as said you can't judge a stone by the certificate and he literally overnight shipped both stones to his store. Low and behold he confirmed that the original stone was indeed ideal, but that the latter was an even nicer stone (good find me!).

I had such a quality experience with McGivern that I am even writing this review before the ring arrives, but I have little doubt in my mind that he has helped me pick out a quality engagement ring that will blow my fiancé away.
