No matter how many times Google are told of the Overly scam, the fake 'sponsored' site is not taken down. The question is not just why is Overly not prosecuted. Why is Google not prosecuted?

I only wish I could say no stars this a total false flag posing as a UK company while actually Chinese. My dehumidifier arrived not working a piece of crap. I tried to get a refund and same story as I have read here I must return to China at my own expense bear additional costs. I reported them to Trading Standards and tried to get money back from Revolute but no success so far now I see their website is down. We used to call that a midnight flit. Beware of Chinese companies pretending to be UK based.

This product is not worth the money. I wanted to return the product, but they told me I had to send it back to China – something that is never mentioned anywhere in their company policy. Don’t be fooled! For two weeks I tried to contact them, only to find out later that my emails were not even going through. According to their policy, you can return a product within 2 weeks, but they make it practically impossible. Very shady company pretending to be based in the UK. Don’t fall for it!

All good reviews are fake. It’s a Chinese company selling scam products. They keep changing their name to avoid you looking at reviews. The product will not work and they will not refund and just use delaying tactics. It us not worth the grief of being ripped off

Absolutely garbage and a fake company. I was taken in by their advert but soon discovered it’s a scam. They soon changed the company name to Ocanvas and ad still going. Tried to return the rubbish item with no joy so had to get a section 75 from my bank. Ad has a man called Jason Saarinen reviewing the machine. Same man reviewing a Sat Nav ad but now called Michael Brown.

I tried to return item unused in original package but they refused it and said I had to pay to return it to China at my own expense and if it got damaged on the way as well as taxes I would also be responsible for. They suggested I give it away as a present

Company description Overley UK would suggest they are UK based. Dehumidifier arrived a couple of days after ordering.

Contacted them on the day of delivery and requested a return address as unsuitable due to size. Received a email over night from Mateo, advising they were based in China and I would have to pay return fees, which seems bizarre given supposed UK based!

Tooing and froing via email, they would not provide me with a return address and advised me to keep the unit and offered a 5% refund and suggested I gift the £128 item to a family member!

I again asked for a return address to return for refund as per their 14 day return policy, which they will not provide!

Then another email saying that to return the item I must return it to China at my expense, covering the custom duties and having a 15% surcharge restock subtracted. If the item were to arrive damaged or be lost no refund would be issued. All that is contrary to the Distance Selling Regulations. I emailed them to explain this situation but after many more emails they wouldn't move.

I wish that I had read these reviews before I bought, but I was taken in by the fake review site.

My unit arrived within 2 days which means that it is obviously despatched from the UK.

When it arrived it was the size of a shoe box. It was then that I read reviews and immediately decided to return it under my rights for Distance Selling.

After a couple of emails exploring me to keep the unit and even offering a 5% refund, I stuck to my guns and insisted on a return with full refund.

Then came the email saying that to return the itdm you must return it to China at your expense, covering the custom duties and having a 15% surcharge restock. If the item were to arrive damaged or be lost no refund would be issued. All that is contrary to the Distance Selling Regulations. I emailed them to explain this situation but after many more emails they wouldn't move.

I therefore contacted my credit card issuer and they have credited me and issued a chargeback to Overly.

Definitely do not order from this company.

I honestly can't believe our authorities in the UK haven't done something about this , Chinese company it uses fake reviews on a sponsored site on Google ( it's been reported to Google so many times but I guess money talks!) every time they get too many bad reviews on Trust pilot they re invent the name and the fake reviewer. I'm so shocked to see that they are still operating in the UK , the device is rubbish cheap plastic and certainly not worth what they are charging it simply doesn't work. I was one of the lucky few who got a refund from my bank as because it's a Chinese company masquerading as a British one our fraud investigators in the UK don't seem to be bothered ( or can't?) this company has been reported to the fraud sites etc but unbelievably they are still operating. I only hope that people read this before buying because you will NOT get your money back from this Chinese company, don't be fooled by the price but one from a repeatable company in the UK, Argos , Curry's etc......please be warned

Scammers changed name twice after being on Rouge Traders, dehumidifiers absolute rubbish avoid at all costs.

Knew there was going to be an issue when the postman bought this in single handed. Extremely lightweight and does not do what it claims. Had it on for over 24hours with nothing more than a table spoon to show. Please do not believe the hype especially the huge discount to get you hooked on purchasing.

I tried to cancel my order within 3 hours of placing it on Saturday morning as I was given an alternative dehumidifier by a relative. No reply for 48 hours then Sales Director Mateo emailed to say too late as the order had been posted. This was Monday morning. On Tuesday I had another email to say it was now posted so there was plenty of time to cancel. On Tuesday I requested authority to return the item unopened. I had another reply from Mateo, inexplicably in German (?) to say they can compensate me by offering 3% of purchase price of £118. I have replied to say unacceptable. I have requested a return UK address. I have not been given one. This company is not ethical. Please, please don’t give them your money as you won’t get it back if anything goes wrong. Avoid.

Avoid at all costs. I got taken in by the '3 best' review and ordered on Saturday. Didn't get an email with confirmation, so emailed and got a very strange email from someone called Mateo. There is no customer service, there is no phone number and having emailed to cancel my order 4 hours ago, have had no reply back. I have now spoken to my bank to try and get my money back but have to wait 15 days.

Total scam. Dehumidifier does not work. Totally useless product regardless of size. They will offer no support and will take you in circles around the issue. Was advised that if I chose to return I would only receive 5% refund due to shipping and duty expenses etc. Avoid completely!!

I ordered a dehumidifier from overly. On realising how small it was l sent a txt and emails trying to cancel. This was on the Saturday night. I got a message back saying l couldn't cancel has they dispatched the order straight away. So received an email on the Monday saying the dehumidifier was being dispatched so it wasn't dispatched until the Monday.l got intouch saying l wanted to return it unopened. But l got all this it is to complicated to return has it has to go back to China and it would cost me to much to send it has l would have to pay all the returning fees plus customs charges.I said l why can't l return from where it came from.I was told they don't accept returns.So lm stuck with this very little dehumidifier that looks like one for a dolls house and over £117 worse off has it cheap looking and not what l wanted l have sent loads of emails but like hitting you head against a wall.

This dehumidifier is a bit loud, but it's powerful. I just run it during the day and empty the tank in the evening.

I bought 2 dehumidifiers. When the equipment was delivered there was no address or phone number. Contact was by email I had a query and entered on a bizarre email exchange with someone called Matteo . In simple terms the product appears not to be supported. There are no UK contacts or phone numbers. The handbook is garbage. I am trying to get my money back through my credit card provider. I strongly advise no one to buy from this company.

I am advising you under the Distance Selling Act within the required 14 day period that I do not want the two dehumidifiers I purchased from Overly UK online on18 June 2025

There is nothing wrong with our product.

I need to explain that it is a hassle to return the product.

Please note:

1. you need to return the product to China by yourself and bear the return shipping cost;

2. After the successful return, we need to deduct the relevant customs duty, as well as deduct 15% of the return fee;

3. If the product is damaged during the return process, it will not be returned.

4.The return policy states that the return address must be provided by us, the address on the parcel is not the return address for us, if you return the parcel to any other address other than the one provided by us, we will not be able to receive the parcel, and then all the losses will be borne by the buyer. Please do not return the goods without authorization.

If you want a full refund, you will need to return the item and pay for the shipping costs, as well as customs duties. Returning the item from your location to China will cost a lot of money and time.

In this case, how about we give you a 5% refund of this order and you do not return the package? You can leave the item there as a gift for your friends or family.
