Unsure about the background of this company

We interviewed this company to replace our book keeper, but I decided against them. In the end I was concerned that

1. the principal shareholder with whom I was talking claimed on her Linked In profile to be a qualified ACCA registered accountant, but there is no sign of her on the ACCA register, which there should have been.
2. When I asked for a customer reference I was told this was some kind of "customer confidentiality" issue and against their policy, and I was told to look at all the online reviews, which of course could be left by anyone. I found that odd as as a customer I would be happy to recommend a company that was working for me to anyone wanting a background check if I was happy with them.
3. This is quite a new company with no accounts filed, and the other shareholder seems to have had various companies opening and closing one with some kind of mandated closure (I don't really know what that means but it doesn't sound good)

They would have access to our financial information so all of this made me feel quite uncomfortable, particularly the lack of ACCA registration. The lady suggested that I should give her access to look around our accounts on Xero which I didn't feel comfortable with. Anyway it's up to you if you use them, but this is what I found out.

Unparalleled seamless transition to a…

Unparalleled seamless transition to a new bookkeeping firm. At first I thought this would be an extremely daunting task to transition, but they understood the assignment from the start. Not only do I have my very own point of contact who is efficient and experienced, but they got knee deep in understanding the intricate complexities of my business from the beginning. I am left to focus on my true passion and upscale my business while they make sure it's not only increasing its profitability, but it's no longer a crisis point in my daily life. Sheer excellence, ahead of the curve.
