We are two 60-year-old, American hikers, who like to take one adventurous hike each year to explore the world. We hiked to Annapurna Base Camp with Outfitter Nepal in Sept-Oct 2017, and could not have been more pleased. From initial pick up to the final dinner, all arrangements were superb.
Wondering if you can make this trek? We found it to be challenging, but we never felt like we couldn’t make it. Outfitter Nepal did an excellent job of breaking up the trek into manageable days, with good rest and food throughout. I observed one of the guides from Outfitter Nepal do a superb job with one hiker (not in our party) who was suffering the effects of altitude sickness. They were well-trained and able to assist the hiker to complete the trek, after their recommendations and help.
We enjoyed perfect weather on our trek. Who knew it could be so warm and tropical-feeling? The Outfitter Nepal guide and porters offered excellent suggestions on hydration, trek timing and the pace of our party’s trek. Ranjit, Nilesh and Niroj made it feel like we were hiking with friends the whole time. They are knowledgeable and we enjoyed learning about the Nepal and its culture.
It was great to have all accommodations so fully vetted in advance. Outfitter Nepal continually called ahead so that we were ensured of rooms, beds, and food at each stop along the trail. The trail was busy at times, so it was great to have guides who were experienced and who ensured that our needs were met. All exceptions or special requests were handled with grace and expertise. And the food was very good! Try the Dal Bhat! It is a wonderful Nepalese trail food!
Finally, since the owners, guides and porters of Outfitter Nepal live and work in Nepal, they offer a unique and personal perspective on the trek, the culture and the beauty of Nepal. Outfitter Nepal felt less like business transaction and more like visiting with friends.
I would give Outfitter Nepal, their co-owners, guides and porters, “two thumbs up” or 5 stars! I heartily recommend them and would absolutely use them again. They come highly recommended!

I trekked to Everest Base Camp with Outfitter and they were amazing!
Everything was taken care of and the trip went so well because of that. Our guide was absolutely faultless, he was extremely attentive, watchful re the health of all on the trek, and always so very conscious of our safety.
The expectations were certainly delivered on - accommodation in Kathmandu was very comfortable, all stays on the trek were comfortable given the conditions.

I hiked the annapurna circuit thanks to this company. Brabin & Sanjay were amazing guides and their patience and wisdom helped me walk further and higher than I ever have before. I spent 3 weeks in the worlds highest mountains and reached 5100 meters above sea level.I met countless interesting travelers. I was welcomed by the people of a very distant land and I am grateful. I think of returning often to try a different hike. In the event I am ever so fortunate, I will be contacting this company.

Friendly local guides with an excellent knowledge. Nothing is to much trouble and they are always prepared to go the extra mile. A wonderful experience!!

I have recently returned after doing the wonderful 12-day Nepal View Tour with Outfitter Nepal. Our expectations were were well and truly exceeded. From the moment we were met at the airport in Kathmandu, to when we dropped off back there at the end of our trip, the team at Outfitter looked after us extremely well. From the company's director, Raj, who had patiently answered my many emails prior to our trip, met us for a comprehensive run-through of the itinerary the day after we arrived and joined us for a farewell dinner on our final night, to Raj our driver, the lovely Shova who took us on a guided tour of Kathmandu, Hom our amazing guide who went far above and beyond in making sure that we all enjoyed the trek, and Narayan, Maila and Shankar who were our support crew on the trek - all of the Outfitter staff were friendly, knowledgeable and great fun to be with. The mark of a great company is how they respond when something goes wrong, and in this regard Outfitter was outstanding. My niece became unwell and was unable to continue with the planned schedule, and all it took was one phone call to Raj and in a matter of a few minutes he had arranged accommodation for my niece and sister and transport for them to join us a couple of days later. The trip itself was excellent, with the five-day trek in the stunningly beautiful Annapurnas being the undisputed highlight. The natural beauty of the mountains is indescribable, and as mentioned, Hom and the support crew were terrific. I highly recommend Outfitter Nepal, and will be very happy to answer questions if anyone would like any more information.
