I have been leveraging the EZR34T-5G on a remote camera trailer system. The router has held up well in high temperatures and is an integral part of our system. Every time I have a question, their customer support has been extremely helpful. I will purchase another when we build our next version.

And the speed is a lot better then Model 33 . Access to my neighbours network works fine.
Altogether a very good investment .
Your after sales service is very helpful .
Good to talk to a human being and not to a robot.

Very poor quality hardware and software is very complicated. Support is from China by email so difficult to coordinate and not very effective.
Due to poor quality router the signal drops continually 5 or 6 times per day usually coinciding with bandwidth IE the more internet you use the more likely the signal will drop.
Also, signal quality c.30-40% better with an indoor router and external antenna.

I bought a pre-used EZR35-5G from eBay. I found it would not connect to the internet using my Three network sim card. I contacted Outdoor Router to ask for help. Bearing in mind I was not their original customer, I wasn't expecting to receive the fantastic help provided to me by Astor and his team.
They arranged for two on-line support sessions where an engineer logged on to the router and talked me through the process of adjusting the system settings. This did the trick. Router up and running and achieving acceptable connection speeds. However, one problem persisted - the router would lose connection when trying to stream live TV from sites like BBC iPlayer & ITVx.
I went back to the engineers to see what could be done. They offered to remotely monitor the router over a period of a few days using the Traversal Cloud function. This helped them to understand the problem, one they had not encountered before. A firmware update did the trick and the router performed without a hitch, providing a stable signal, 24/7.
The support team maintained contact with me via the Traversal Cloud function, using the data collected to advise me on the best place to place the router. Once in the best place, my connection speeds went from 40-50MBPS up to 120MBPS with a 5G connection.
I am a very happy customer - I have a quality product and have been made to feel like a valued customer, even though I did not purchase directly from them.
I live in London and, according to the coverage maps, am not in an area that receives a 5G signal. This router has managed to get me a stable 5G signal which I use in pass-through (modem only) mode to an indoor router and provide for the whole house. I have two young children and this set-up manages their streaming demands without difficulty.
As far as the product design is concerned, it does lack the aesthetic appeal of some outdoor routers. That said, now it's up and running that really is not an issue I think about. The value -v- performance is where this router works for me, topped by first-class support from the engineers and customer support teams.
Not sure why so many bad reviews.
I got the EZR23T-U4 last May.
Was super easy to set up, placed an activated sim into the slot, powered it up and within a few minutes had found the network.
I used an online tool to locate the direction of the nearest cell tower to me and i get good uploads and download speeds.
Never had a crash or reset, it just works and is way better than other branded mobile broadband routers.
I think other buyers problems are likely to be with their ISP and positioning of the unit.
Going to upgrade this year to one of their outside weather proof units.
I have bought two 4G routers from outdoor router over about 5 years. I bought the second unit as the first never worked properly in that it was unreliable in operation. It spent more time hung up than being operational. I was advised to buy the most upto date version to get over this issue. The bottom line is that it did not. I was continually re booting the unit to kick it into action. 5 years later I have bought another brand of 5G router that is an internal router with wand antennas. The difference in reliability and up time on 4G service is total. I cant think why I waited so long to ditch the Outdoor Router kit. The settings of all my other kit have remained the same to connect to the newly acquired router and the whole system has not missed a beat anywhere. Whilst I an an electronics engineer, I dont wnat to keep on getting under the bonnet just to stream TV or write an email or two. I believe electronic systems and software should serve humans not the other way round - which was continuously the case with the Outdoor Router kit - old version and new.

Selling unbranded Chinese routers with a clip art logo sticker slapped on top. Just because UK is in the name doesn't mean their products are

Bought a 5G router with dual band wifi. A little more money than the more common brands, but so worth it. Snappy interface, rigid feel and look. Function is great.
Somehow there was a damage during transport. I just sent an email describing the issue and outdoor immediately sent me a replacement part without further questions.
Very satisfied with the product and the company service.
Okay.... so the website presents itself as a UK business based in Brighton somewhere.
Its not. Its China based.
But still, the product arrived inside of 10 days, so they don't mess around with the shipping. It was FAST.
When the unit... a Lte/5g router arrived, it looked GOOD.
Packaging was exceptional, and the build quality seemed absolutely top notch.
I was expecting an ABS plastic case, but this thing was all cast metal fully gasketed against the elements.
Installed easy enough (pole mount only though!) ... early indications were great 180mps download 100+ up. Loved the PoE, which meant only one ethernet cable through the wall.
Lasted three days.
Then nothing, could not get a signal of any kind.
Now... I know my way around electronics, so I traced the fault back to the modem module. Basically one of the antenna sockets had a dead short to ground that went all the way back to the connector on the module. Dead module, most likely. It looked genuine to me, Quertel, so maybe just a lemon or it had taken a knock in transit. The whole PCB of the module was under a shield, so no way to dig any deeper - like for a blown cap....
Anyway, emails ensued, and a few days later I had a full refund.
Went a different way in the end with a Teltonika 5g Gateway.
The product was well designed, and engineered, and I am sure others will have better success with longevity, otherwise you would soon see it in the reviews.
....and the responses to emails were fast and professional.
If it wasn't for another 10 day wait for a replacement, I might have tried again.
If you need what they have... give them a go.
Update:
Once I was able to get in touch, the team were really helpful and now my product is working great! Would recommend
Delivery was fast and product looks really good in great packaging but can’t get it to work in an area that I know there’s 2 bars of signal. Tried to email for technical support as per instructions but get a message that my email addresses have been black listed.

These guys really help you out, if their product does not perform to your desire. Excellent sales service and very good qualified Technical support thru remote connection. Support continous until you are Satisfied. Absolute recommendation!!
Absolutely perfect
Before-10mbpc-15mbpc
After-65mbpc-75mbpc.
These guys are amazing, the quick response to requests for help from a newbie like me was very welcome. Nothing is too much trouble and they even organised a live-session with an engineer to fine-tune my system for working remotely in the Highlands.
Bought the Cat 6 router from them recently. Apart from a slightly fiddly SIM card slot, the router offers better and more stable speeds on our sailboat (vs trad router or phone) - enabling us to have stable video calls for work. It did have one glitch connecting to EE which required different protocol settings than the default. Tammy at customer support was incredibly swift in dealing with my query and it does seem to be sorted out. Would strongly recommend. Just wish they made a 2 modem version, that would be the dog's..
Good quality hardware. Support is a little tricky so if using for anything other than creating a basic open Wi-Fi plan to have them set it up for you and make sure you are clear on what your objective is. It takes 1-2 days or more for an appointment and you have to select from the available times. No phone support at this time despite a phone number on the website. Once you get them started they work hard to try and help you.
Website looks ok with UK address. Claims to dispatch from London.
I’ve just been sent a tracking number suggesting that my package is due to be collected from China by FedEX.
I’ve emailed to cancel my order - as this doesn’t ensue trust on any level & can’t recommend at all.

Only have it a couple of weeks and so far it is absolutely fantastic. Ours is used for live streaming and last week an event was done in a part of rural Ireland in a valley, surrounded by trees where attendees were struggling to make phone calls. We had excellent speeds and no problems whatsoever. Highly recommend the router, and the company were super to deal with as well. I was dealing with them at the weekend through email and replies were fast regardless of the day or time. Technology allows mail to go straight to phones and other devices now and companies that care about their customers like guys do are able to embrace that and use it to everyones advantage. A lot of the lazier suppliers could learn a lesson from them. Well done guys on the service and the product.
Excellent product and A*** for service!!
We have had several products from Astor and his team over the years and without doubt the team have consistently provided first class support.
If only all companies could adopt their customer services skills!! I may sound like I’m raving, that’s because I genuinely am!
We live on a farm and standard internet connectivity isn’t available so this has provided us with internet on our site.
From purchase - delivery - installation. No problems at all.
When we’ve had issues with the mast,( more so with my lack of technical know how) Astor has been without fail to configure and sort.
If your looking for an example of first rate customer service. Outdoorrouter has it.
We are using our Outdoor Router on a building site with a Nest camera to provide site security and also timelapse videos.
The router was been very reliable, the only issue we had was when our mobile network provider decided to block our SIM due to high data usage. The router was reporting “SIM disabled” but the Outdoor Router support team were really helpful and assisted me to find the problem. After a call to our mobile company they unblocked the SIM and everything was working again.
I would definitely recommend this system to anyone needing an outdoor router!
This is a decent product. We've been using it for 9 months on our offshore sailing boat. Support was good when we bought it to help figure basic questions.
We've managed to get internet up to 12nm offshore and it's worked consistently with no issues to report. Speed is good and the WiFi is solid.
Set-up is pretty straight forwards. It's easy to get confused by the technical looking interface but there are only really three settings needed.
This is a hybrid commercial / consumer product so an 'easy set-up mode' would be nice but you can pay a nominal fee to them and they'll do it for you in a few minutes.
I've done a YouTube video on it so if you search 'Setting up Outdoor Router for your boat' it should help, there's also a full review under 'Full OutdoorRouter unboxing & review - 4G boat internet 12 miles offshore'.
