Siden 1953 har Ørskov Copenhagen skabt kompromisløse og banebrydende designs og interiør til danske og internationale hjem. Produkter af høj kvalitet til fornuftige priser, lavet i respekt for naturen og en mere bæredygtig fremtid. Lige fra starten slog Torben Ørskov sig sammen med et netværk af de bedste danskere arkitekter og designere, herunder Jørn Utzon og Finn Juhl – samarbejder, der har resulteret i innovative, men tidløse designs, der gennem tiden har opnået ikonisk status og en række designpriser. Torben åbnede sin egen butik “Form & Farve” i København i 1953, baseret på sine erfaringer fra sit arbejde i et stormagasin og en engrosdesignvirksomhed i USA. Form & Farve blev hurtigt en dansk institution for alle de stilbevidste unge. Torben åbnede 5 Form & Farve designbutikker. Én i Tyskland og 4 i Danmark fra 1953 til 1986. Butikkerne var stedet at gå til, hvis man ville have noget trendy og funktionelt til sit hjem. I 1986 fokuserede Ørskov kun på engroshandel og i 2013 blev den første webshop lavet og navngivet Copenhagen tilføjet til varemærket, og logoet blev redesignet. Det rød-hvide logo blev designet tilbage i 1952 af Jørn Utzon og har været varemærket lige siden. I dag drives virksomheden af Torben Ørskovs søn, Jeppe Ørskov. Han fortsætter familie virksomheden med samme filosofi om at skabe og producere nye prisvenlige klassikere, baseret på smukt håndværk og en kærlighed til materialer.

I am very happy with Orskov's products…

I am very happy with Orskov's products — the quality, design, and craftsmanship are excellent.

Initially, I tried to place an order through the official website. However, after completing the purchase, I discovered that shipping costs would be charged separately, and since I was ordering from outside the EU, the delivery fee turned out to be even more expensive than the product itself.

Naturally, I decided to cancel the order. What impressed me the most was the outstanding customer service. The team handled the cancellation professionally and refunded my purchase without any issues. On top of that, Maria from customer support went the extra mile and provided me with the contact details of an official local reseller where I was able to purchase the same products at a much better overall price.

The products are fantastic, and the customer service was even better. A special thank you to Maria for her kindness, professionalism, and willingness to help. It turned what could have been a disappointing experience into a very positive one.

I bought a log barrel last November

I bought a log barrel last November. It arrived with a defect. Customer service offered a 50% discount on the price I paid for the barrel. Or I could send it back. I chose the keep the item and get the discount. I was refunded of 50% on the price without VAT which of course is NOT the price I paid as the end customer. I have been emailing them since November as this is dishonest from the company as they never mentioned this. They only respond after long delays or after being chased again and again. I had to call them to just get an answer to my last email. It has now been 2 months and I haven't been able to get an honest answer from them or to get the full 50% refund on what the price I paid. It was completely misleading as their 50% discount is not a 50% for the customer. This is outrageous. After this experience I definitely would not recommend the company.

Terrible delivery service

It’s been more than one week the parcel is still in Belgium. No tracking available, what is it doing for 7 days in Belgium ?!

The placemats look like plastic

The placemats are described as “genuine handcrafted leather”. But they look like plastic. No leather structure whatsoever.
I could have bought plastic placemats for a fraction of the price. Disappointing.

A nice discovery
