I’d saved a picture of them having seen them in a hotel room I’m due to be staying at; the magic of Pinterest searched for similar items and came up with the exact ones sold at Orchid and they were in stock. I can’t wait until I’m next passing through Hampshire to visit their beautiful shop; it looks like an Aladdins cave of wonderful things.

Orchid continue to source stylish accessories and my personal favourite is the pineapple bookends. They are both functional and visually appealing.

I’ve been buying bits and pieces from Orchid for several years now, and am always impressed by the quality of their pieces and the helpful, friendly courtesy of the staff. When visiting the showroom a staff member is always on hand to help if required -but is equally prepared to leave you alone to browse.
My only complaint is that I always The Barn wanting to take at least half of the contents with me!

Prompt service, and a beautiful product

It was an ok experience but I would not rush back to purchase, even though over the years we have purchased lots of furniture and items from Orchid. We have had better customer service on previous occasions, even followed up by email after our visit to show our interest in a piece of furniture and no follow up at all.

What a find of a store for someone who adores the look of antique Asian furniture. These are beautiful pieces that are truly authentic. As someone who has gone through the pain of trying to import furniture myself, I can also say these prices are much better than the costs of shipping, customs, storage (for when the docks strike) and other hidden costs that mount up. Really worth visiting and purchasing furniture to last a lifetime!

I have recently bought 2 cabinets from Orchid. They were delivered by 2 men who took the very heavy items up 2 flights of stairs and they each arrived with a free tassle which was nice!
Cabinets are of beautiful quality and design. I love them!
