Installing this CarPlay screen was pretty easy, and I love that it connects to my phone automatically now. The screen is quite sharp, though the user manual could have been clearer on a few things.
DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY
DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY - I bought a 7" portable car media screen. When it arrived there was not a single maker's mark on the outer box sleeve, the internal white box, the instruction pamphlet nor the device itself (screen, mounts, etc). I only bought this particular device because of a review by a company named Tech Testing* (itself dubious, as the three makes compared and tested gave the Orbitnav a stand-out win compared to the second placed Pioneer (a name to be trusted)). The Orbitnav was allegedly reduced from £159 to £79 (Pioneer (Amazon) £210.88 from £349.99) and could be found on their own website for the same.
Both Orbitnav and Tech Testing imply they are UK based through domain names, etc. Having challenged the customer services over the lack of any company branding and that they are not found in Companies House as a UK company, I received a swift reply. In turn I asked about Returns Policy (they didn't answer question about Warranty). They then stated that returns (unsatisfactory product) would completely be at my expense, with a 15% restocking fee, and a risk that it may become damaged en route. Obviously, Distance Buyer Rights do not apply when they are overseas based - and have deliberately misled me! I was not prepared to accept their 3% discount, as a favour (Oh right!) and "you can give it to your friends or family!"
I should have checked the Trustpilot reviews on this company first. The device may yet turn out to be OK (not yet installed or tested, whilst going through the customer service action). I would like to take them off the UK market, if I can, and warn others accordingly. I feel I have been totally scammed and cheated - and they don't give a damn!
Afternotes : My dialogue continues. Yesterday they offered a 5% discount, today 7% !!! Too late, and besides, what's 7% compared to 15% re-stocking fees, import duty and shipping ??? You have to laugh, or you'd cry.
* I also emailed Jason Saarinen at Tech Testing for comment. The response? Google mail cannot find the domain or get through. Also, the day after I emailed him his domain (search title) had been amended and reference to UK had been removed. You cannot make it up!!!
Not good
I purchased a sat nav and found it 'too technical', I've used sat navs for years but this was horrible. Tried to return it and was told I have to post it to China despite the info on the web site saying to post it to base in UK!
Stay well away from this company
To be honest this company doesn’t deserve a 1 star, it should be minus 5. Ordered Satnav thinking l was ordering from UK, nope it’s China. It loses GPS so l applied for a refund. I have been going back and forth with emails, basically saying l need to send a video so they can rectify the problem. HOW CAN YOU RECTIFY THE LOSS OF GPS!!!! Then they offered a 5% discount and told me to give it to family. Why would l give a defected product to a family member? They basically are a company to stay away from, to return it will cost a fortune, they won’t pay it so basically you might as well lose over £100 plus. I have been going back and forth now for over 3 weeks getting same response back from them.
Cancellation fees
Ordered a satnav, then cancelled it a couple of hrs later.
Up to that point communication was good, then I cancelled the order and ask for a refund, according to their cancellation policy if the item has not been shipped there should only be a charge for administration fees £4.95.
When they did reply they had charged me £14.95 restocking fees, when I queried this the communication seized and no explanation given
Just wasted £119 and feel so angry
Just wasted £119 and feel so angry . We didn’t check the reviews before we threw our money down the drain. Satnav did come in a cheap damaged box. It’s absolute rubbish £30 at the most. Now trying to return it and getting nowhere. Not a UK company like i thought. DONT DO what we did and not look at the reviews before parting with your money. We’ve now involved bank hoping to get something back 😡😡😡
The satnav treats some A roads as…
The satnav treats some A roads as motorways so when avoiding motorways with a learner driver it sends you on stupid routes. The audible speed warning does not work. The night time brightness cannot be reduced as the slider does not work. The Company fobs you off.
Purchased a 9” Orbitnav
Purchased a 9”Satnav. No instructions, poor build quality and very slow refresh rate with poor GPS connection.
Difficulty contacting company over issues and their return conditions made it a very expensive, no guarantee of refund situation.
The maximum refund they offered me was 7% and the advice given was to gift to a friend.
Stay well clear of this Company and use tried and tested alternatives (Tom Tom for example)
A repeat of al the other reviews cannot…
A repeat of al the other reviews cannot get any sense from them and have a sat nav I cannot use. They seem very reluctant to offer a refund waste of time and money

SCAM - JUNK WORTH NO MORE THAN £30, STAY CLEAR
Well, what can I say...........what a complete box of junk. It's a Sat Nav from the 1990s at best. So clunky, slow, loses GPS all the time, dont find addresses.........complete and total waste of money............then the best bit. So everyone thinks their buying a decent Sat Nav from a reputable UK seller...........well, see if you can find them listed on companies house!.....their NOT. Then, the email replies sent from a chinese 'aco.media' address...............so, what your buying is really a £30 quid piece of chinese junk for over £100.........total scam. The box itself had zero reference to OrbitNav, just a bright blue box, stated on it that it was made in China and some hideous artwork of lorries, cars etc.......again, like something drawn up from the 1990's.
I emailed about delivery of mine and got all the chinese carrier details emailed back, from the sales director Elaine replying to my email with 'cheers'. Hilarious, how unprofessional is that, which in itself tells a story.
Read all the other reviews, the only positive ones are from persons with names I cant pronounce..........but all UK reviews!! - believe those are genuine positive reviews you will believe anything.
Mine is now sat in a cupboard collecting dust as it's too expensive to send back....... but you live and learn. I'll give it to my local charity shop. But sooner or later this company will get caught out. Buying and selling chinese rubbish (probably from their lounge) hiding behind a front of a lovely website.
PLEASE EVERYONE - DON'T GO NEAR THESE WITH A BARGE POLE.
I stiched myself up, so can only blame myself and learn by my mistake, but if my review can help protect others then I'm happy. Of course I'm not happy these took my money in this way - rather have donated £130 to a good cause. Do what I'm now doing, going out and getting a real Sat Nav like a Tom Tom or Garmin. Only gave one star because of no option to give 'zero' stars
Avoid this company at all costs!
Avoid this company at all costs!, I went onto their website to order a satnav which clearly stated that it was in UK stock. I wanted it for an upcoming drive to Spain. In the shipping details it stated that upon receipt of payment the unit would be sent out the next day with tracking data. I had 2 weeks until my trip which I assumed was plenty of time!. How wrong was I, after 1 week had passed I heard nothing so after a few messages I finally got a reply, but not giving me an eta, so I decided to cancel the order. It clearly states in their terms that I should receive 100% refund as it had not been sent and no tracking number supplied, so this is what I requested. Shortly after I discovered that this was coming from China not the uk and it would take (at best) 4 weeks to arrive. I explained this to them in an email how they misled me, and this wouldn't be any use to me as I would have left the country by then and it would be delivered to an empty house and no doubt be left on the doorstep to be stolen. This fell on deaf ears, and after a few more msgs from me they refused any refund and low and behold they now sent me a useless tracking number.
So now I'm left £148 out of pocket for something I'm never going to receive and a further £200 for buying another one from the high Street.
They mislead you, they lie to you, and they steal from you.
customer service Non-existent
No Instructions, No information on how to update the system or maps. No reply to emails, terrible customer service avoid this company at all cost.
Suspect scam
Ordered the Bluetooth version of their satnav . Was sent a cheap Chinese substitute widely available for a third of the price. Tried several times to contact the company through the link on the order confirmation and never heard anything. Emails directly to the address on their website were returned as undeliverable also gave a Chinese Web host ...... do not buy from this false fronted scam company. Next stop credit card fraud department
Fake reviews
Look at all the good reviews … notice anything special about the names of the posters … mmmm I smell a rat
Potential scam or at best very poor communications
Sent a message to 'support' email address: The e-mail just bounced, several times. Four days after payment, no updates and obviously no reply from possibly a bogus e-mail address. I would recommend you look some where else.

I ordered a satnav from Orbitnav on the 4th of July which I got an order conformation e-mail. I tried to send them an e-mail asking when and who by it would be delivered. I have had no response at all. I’m beginning to think I have been conned out of £148. The fraud team at my bank are looking into it.
Mr Richard Phipps
Do not buy from here
Do not buy from here. There is absolutely no customer service. We wanted to return as satnav is really cheap and not worth the money. But this "company" does not respond to any emails. I have sent numerous trying to return this purchase. Save your money and buy from elsewhere
Absolutely rubbish
Absolutely rubbish. It’s like a satnav from 20 years ago. When trying to find an address you have to type in which country you are in first. Then when it asks for a postcode it doesn’t let you put the whole postcode in.
Just goes to show you cannot trust all these sites when they say which is best.
Do yourself a favour and don’t buy one of these
Wishing I had read the Trustpilot…
Wishing I had read the Trustpilot reviews before purchasing. Maybe I am the latest to give Orbitnav £119 for a GPS Navigation that costs half of this elsewhere. Judging from other reviews there is little hope of any redress, with nil response to emails and no contact phone number. Draw your own conclusions!
