Was one of the first supporters

Was one of the first supporters. They missed the ship date by about a month and then only shipped out half the product, meaning they sent out the panels but not the MPPT. They keep giving excuses about when it will ship but its almost October, 4 months after the product was supposed to ship, and I have a useless panel with no MPPT. No replies, no response, just more empty promises. DO NOT SUPPORT THIS COMPANY

Thank you for your message and for your support since our Kickstarter campaign.

During final testing of the SolexBrick S1, we identified an issue where the cleaning material used in the PCBA reacted with the adhesive, which caused the product to fall short of our shipping standards. To ensure quality and long-term reliability, we sourced improved materials and have been remanufacturing all affected units.

The good news is that the S1 has now passed all required tests. We expect to share a detailed update later this week with the latest progress and specific timelines. We remain committed to air shipping the S1 to every backer who purchased it within this month.

We truly understand your frustration and sincerely apologize for the inconvenience this has caused. If you have further questions or would like direct assistance, please contact us at support@optisolex.com, and we will assign a dedicated support representative to assist you one-on-one.

Thank you for your patience and understanding.

Customer support is dire.

Customer support is dire.

Edit 03/07/2025

Surprise Surprise. I have now received a coherent communication rather than the repeated perform self service in a fashion that wouldn't work.
Was that influenced by the low rating review or just coincidental?

UPDATE 30/07/2025
Looks like they have upped their business model in customer support so we'll see how it flows through to delivery and beyond.
