Rip Off asking for more money once I paid the full amount

My name is Clarence Ray Bedford , I just recently paid $181.40 to my optimum account and before the end of the month around this time optimum Representatives disconnect my Internet service requesting more money before the month is even up
Optimum Representatives is not putting the supervisors on the phone when I request to speak to one they place my call on hold for 45 months saying the supervisors not available to call back tomorrow I just paid them 181.40 and my bill is only supposed to be 40 dollars amount optimum is not a good Internet company to go through and I don't recommend nobody to deal with this company it's a rip off I received your email and I have screenshots of all the payments received from my account and I just posted a payment of 14.00 I'm not a satisfied customer every time I make a payment my Internet is restored then it gets back disconnected asking for more money if that's not the case Optimum Internet is always having power outages so I'm not getting a full benefit of service not even for the whole month the Internet service is discontinued saying for a none payment which I keep all of my receipts I don't want your service it's just a waste of time because I'm not rich I'm currently on disability and I don't have time to being talk to by one of your rude Representatives when I'm requesting to talk with your supervisor that's on shift and I'm being denied access to Speak with the supervisor I'm being asked questions like why do I wanna speak with a supervisor than I explain the situation and the rep says hold on I be on hold for 30 minutes and then Optimum rep will come back on the line and say that the supervisor is not available to speak to call back tomorrow this is considered poor customer services when y'all taking my money I wish I could post the screenshot to this review and it will show y'all just took my 14 .00 dollar off of my debit card and my Tv interest service is still disconnected but y'all still asking me for more money when I'm requesting to disconnect my whole service account I don't want to talk unless I am speaking with the supervisor that's can handle my current situation Thank you for your time and consideration ! Stay away unless you have time on your hands

There are some pros to Optimum. There are many more cons. In an era where many of us are able to work from home Optimum Internet is failing their customers. I've had many service outages over the last six months of being with Optimum. I finally called for some reasoning. Part of the reply was if I had ever thought of going to a local coffee shop to work when there is an outage. In regards to cable service Optimum is far too expensive. I was paying $260+ dollars per month for basic cable + a sports package + internet. I called last year to take my cable package to the lowest possible service, eliminate the sports package and do away with two cable boxes. This call took over an hour of time to complete. This was to take my bill down to just over $200 per month. Within two months my billing was back at $260. At this point I completely cancelled my cable to only internet. This call took one hour and forty five minutes to complete. The internet was fine. I could stream, be online and do all the things I needed. Then suddenly my internet equipment was inadequate and Optimum sent me knew equipment I didn't need and upgraded my internet speed which I did not ask for. At this point I had, had enough. Called to cancel only to lose another hour and a half of my life. In all of these calls Optimum offered these great deals to stay on. I have two issues with this. One, who has time to call their cable/internet service quarterly or more to make sure their not getting hosed? Two, if I was such a great customer (which I was) why did I not automatically get the good deal? There are not a lot of options for internet/cable in my town but I can assure you I will never use Optimum again.

NEVER use Optimum

Optimum mobile is absolutley the worst service I have ever used in my entire life. First, they randomly disconnected my internet without notifying me first. When I called to ask why I was told that they no longer offer the internet plan that I was using. I asked why I hadn't been notified and they could not give me a reason, then I was told in order to restart my service I would have to create a completely new account and wait for a new router to be delivered and installed so I was without internet for 2 weeks. I asked them over the phone what to do with my old router and they said to keep it and I would not be charged. Then a couple months later there was a $200 charge for an unreturned router on my bill. The new plan they offered me was $45/month. I paid that for about a year and then my bill suddenly changed to $60/month and when I investigated I was told "your promotional rates have ended." There was no mention of a promotional rate when I was given the $45/month rate after they disconnected my service the first time. Throughout every interaction I have had with customer service, they have been terrible. Their agents are not able to speak and understand english very efficiently and they are not knowledgable at all. If I could give optimum 0 stars I would.
