The people were very professional and nice to speak with made the full process comfortable

Had my 12 week post ASD diagnosis appointment yesterday, and was left disappointed with how it went. My original assessment went well, but it was a different person this time - a male nurse called Hans. I felt that he was quite dismissive, patronising and unsympathetic, and didn't really listen to me. He seemed to be minimising the struggles that being autistic bring, and really didn't seem like he understood autism all that well generally. He also clearly had not read any of my report before the appointment, and deadnamed me for 35 minutes to top things off. He did say he would send some links for therapists, though I am yet to recieve them - but all in all I was left feeling crap and invalidated after the appointment, which is a shame to have ended my diagnosis process with.

In my experience optimise have been great.
I was on their wait list for 4.5mths for adhd diagnosis. The appointment process was efficient, the psychiatrist was nice and explained how the chemical disregulation in the brain explain adhd behaviours which were specific to my experiences. The follow up process was good. They get back to you if there is an issue you need to report. I’m 6 months in now, just changed meds as the first few months didn’t see much improvement and staff are nice and helpful etc so all good.
Availability of meds is good too as they refer to an allocated pharamacy and meds are posted, rather than trying to get meds locally. :)

Couldn’t have had a better service to support me, the 2 ladies who assessed me were so lovely and made me feel comfortable, was easy to contact and was happy to help with any enquiries! The aftercare I will be provided with is more than I can ask for, no faults great experience and lovely staff!

It was very personal and offered all the answers to my questions, giving myself peace of mind.

After being referred by my GP, I had a great experience with this company. Great communication via letter and email, with a preliminary appointment and psychiatrists review. All staff and the Dr were extremely professional and kind. The setting of the office for my face to face was also lovely. Thank you

Got my diagnosis and I am being treated with medication

This place functions so well they have been prompt respectful helpful and I'm so greatful my Dr was Dr Andy and he made me feel at ease talking about sometimes difficult subjects and I'm so greatful to them he explained everything I needed to know and I would highly recommend using their services

Lovely Doctor whom seems caring and very knowledgeable, a professional service with short wait to be seen.Good communication with my pharmacy and medication arrives promptly. Some issues with their computerised appointment system but admin very helpful in sorting this . Thanks so much for helping me with my ADHD.

My experience with Optimise has been good overall.
My initial assessment was booked in within 4 months of me being referred
1./ All meetings so far have been professional and informative.
2./ Friendly & helpful staff both clinical and office based
3./ It is possible to get through on the phone, not always first time but with a little patience, I havent found it to be difficult and I have had to call them approx 4 times so far.
4./ They are responsive where needed.
5./ 4 stars instead of 5 due to inconsistent advice around BP and HR readings, which meant my medication was delayed on my 2nd prescription but now I know what is and isnt acceptable, I can't see there being any issues going forwards
6./ They also work with a pharmacy called signature pharmacy who are very quick and efficient (once my prescription had been issued)

From start to finish Optimise have been brilliant at keeping me informed every step of my assessment, answering any questions reassuring me when needed, and amazing at explaining my full diagnosis and what happens next, highly recommended Thankyou.

Depression treatment

First app with a really nice girl (can’t remember her name, blondish with glasses) she made me and my mum feel very comfortable.

I was feeling stressed beforehand not knowing what to expect but felt much more relaxed half an hour in. 👍🏻

Excellent staff and good service, absolutely awful communication and organisation both internally and externally in communicating appointments to patients. Really glad to correct a misdiagnosis 7 years ago and get my life on track so overall very pleased but room to improve.

Absolute joke of a company, they diagnosed my son with adhd then argue between themselves and our gp about care, several emails and calls later over several weeks we are still no better. Terrible care

Excellent service! I am an nhs patient and it took about 3 months in total fro referral to diagnosis of my ADHD. The staff were lovely, warming and empathetic.

Absolutely disgusted and shocked at how I have been treated today.

This morning I had an Autism assessment with a lovely gentleman. I think his name was Hand. He was patient, understanding and empathic and I felt comfortable speaking to him. He was very professional and gave both myself and my Mother excellent reassurance. For Hand, I would just like to say thank you and the service you provided was excellent.

The same can not and will not be said of his colleague, who was supposed to join me on a video chat after we took a short break. Dr Sharma ? I think this person's name was. I wanted and waited for this person to appear on video chat. (I had left my mobile phone upstairs so I wouldn't be disturbed by any notifications - plus, I have a short attention span and I get distracted easily) Dr Sharma left a voicemail saying she had waited for me on the video chat and because I had no appeared online by 1:20pm she had to log the appointment as "Client didn't attend" no second phone call or contact and the number was withheld so I had no means of contacting her directly.

Also, please note: it is terrible trying to call the office directly NO ONE answers the phone!! My Mother called on my behalf and left TWO voice mails!!! She also emailed the office. NO RESPONSE.

I am an undiagnosed Autistic woman who has waited over three years for an assessment. So to be treated like this is appalling. It's a nice day today and sunny outside so maybe the clinician who left a voicemail felt she would clock off early this Friday and make a long weekend of it?! You CAN NOT treat people like this, especially vulnerable people. I understand technical difficulties can occur. There should be someone at your office I can speak to.

I took today off work as a holiday for this assessment. I don't know when I'll be able to take another day off.

At the end of my first assessment the lovely gentleman I spoke to asked me about my mental health. Was I suffering with any suicidal thoughts? Did I feel depressed? How can you as a company ask your patients questions like this and then treat them so disgracefully?

I understand that nothing will get done about this and this review will probably be ignored but I just don't want someone else going through what I have today. I've spent the past two hours crying and I've been sick a few times due to the stress of it all.

Optimise Healthcare group and the clinician who left a voicemail are appalling.

I was referred by my GP and from GP referral to autism diagnosis was around 3 months. The clinicians were amazing and explained everything, the assessment day was long but they were understanding empathic. I would definitely recommend, there is long waits but once an appointment is available the process for diagnosis is very quick and done within a day.
