Not what it appears
Not at all pleased. Ordered an 8 x 10 canvas, but photo was printed for a 10 x 12 with 4 inches wrapped on edges. 1/3 of photo not seen. Will have to undo staples and see if I can salvage this in time for Christmas. Will not be ordering from this company again. A costly mistake.
TERRIBLE customer service
I ordered my Christmas cards with Optimal Print for delivery between two dates. Got an email order confirmation, but nothing further. Upon reaching out on the last date the order should have been delivered, I was told it had shipped the previous week and I was given a tracking number. Upon tracking it, I realized that there was an error that the shipping company had made - they sorted the package incorrectly, it said. I called and they said that they updated my package to a pick up at their facility about 25 min from my home. I said I paid for shipping to my home and to please get it delivered. The shipping company opened a claim. I went back to Optimal Print to let them know what was going on and that I had paid for shipping to my house. The customer service agent basically said that they had attempted delivery (they had not, which I confirmed while on the phone with the shipping company) so I would need to pick it up. I then let them know that I would like a refund on shipping and that I would not pick up a package that was instructed to be delivered to my house. I heard nothing back. I then let them know that I would either like a full refund on my order or for them to reship me my order. Also, nothing back. There’s no phone line, just email/chat. So while it sounds like they’re all for customer service and keeping customers happy, clearly they’re not. On the website it does state that they will send a new order if there are issues, also which is clearly untrue. My order should have been in my hands a week ago and customer service has done nothing to keep my business at all. Will never order from here again and will let everyone I know to steer clear as well.

I ordered a large photo print on aluminum
I ordered a large photo print on aluminum, and it shipped with very little space between the metal and the edge of the packaging. Needless to say there was a lot of damage on the corners and sides of the original print. I got in touch with customer service late at night via chat on website, and they agreed to send a replacement. That one turned out to be packaged better and arrived without issue.
I did ask a few other questions on the chat that went unanswered, and was unsure if that was on purpose. In the end I got what I needed a little later than I wanted.

The personal calendar I created for a very special person as a Christmas gift went straight into tge garbage after paying 32.00. It was not likecanythingvI expected. Heads and feet were cut off the couple in a picture. One picture was sideways when printed, as a few instances. I went to another company and created the exact calendar that I wanted. I will NEVER order from this company again. I tried to contact them via virtual representative whichbwas very stressful and didn't give me any help or advice on how to fix my issues.

I’m on optimalprint.ca. It takes me through to the app, I spend hours placing the pictures with their glitchy app. Then get to checkout to find they don’t deliver to Canada. What’s the point in a .ca website that doesn’t deliver to Canada?!
Update & response: I can't provide an order ID because I didn't order the item. No point ordering it if it doesn't deliver to the country to which I'd like it delivered.

Delayed and now worthless - and AI "customer support" is horrible
Ordered Christmas cards on Nov 28 - delivery said Dec 2-3. Now shows Dec 5 and I will be leaving on a trip that day for a week so these cards will not be sent before my trip now and will not be received before Christmas which makes them almost worthless at this point.
Super disappointing as I ordered here specifically because they'd be delivered before I left.
Wanted to try someone new as I always use vista print but this experience has made sure I dont try these guys again.
Don't order if you are dependant on the delivery date being accurate as now I wasted almost $100 on cards that will be delivered 2-3 days late and because of that I will not have them to recipients on time before the holidays.
And the worst part is no customer service besides some AI chat that just ends the chat when they give you an answer (which was not helpful and inaccurate).

I have used this company for years & got lovely cards which were delivered fast. This year I placed an order November 17 with (according to them) estimated arrival of November 24-25, just like a few other reviews. The update I found next was that they were be there December 2nd. They didn’t arrive. All of the contact links go to “page does not exist”. There is no number to call. As an optimal print plus member I am out the cost of the cards, the plus membership” and no cards to show for it. I will not use them again.
UPDATE: I cards arrived December 4th. They are OK but the envelopes are very cheap. I am sure that I didn’t pay for the premium envelopes before so looks like just using cheaper products. Since no explanation for missing links in :contact us” or “help” section. I am disappointed given that they used to be wonderful and fast.

I placed an order of 300 Christmas Cards for my employees and paid an additional $100 for expedited shipping so they would be here by a certain date. It said they would be delivered November 26 or 27. It is now November 30 and I still don't have a tracking number and it is saying my cards still need to be printed. I received no notification they would be delayed and there is NO way to contact them. Their Customer Service/Contact links just go in circles. This is ridiculous.

My first arrival window was November 24th and 25th, then my arrival window changed to the 26th and 27th, my final arrival window so far is November 28th, today is November 29 and still no cards. I thought I was dealing with a Canadian company, turns out they’re international, however, the cards are printed here in Canada.
I will not use optimalprint next year and it is looking as though I will not be using them this year either as my cards will likely not arrive in time to mail out. The website advertises full satisfaction guarantee, but so far dealing with customer service has been pretty much useless. The only way to contact them is to use their customer service AI bot. As far as I can tell, the role of the AI bot is to determine whether or not you actually are a customer and then tell you to come back to them in 12 days if you still have not received your shipment. Wow!

I love optimal print
I love optimal print. I’ve ordered cards from them so many times now and they’ve always turned out well. Their prices can’t be beat either! I love that they come so fast too! One of our orders came without the envelopes we paid for, so they resent the entire order so we got double the cards! Great customer service!
