My flight cancelled due to Coronavirus and Opodo won't refund

Poor customer service, I am being passed around! My flight has been cancelled Due to the Coronavirus by the airline, Opodo will not refund me and said to contact the airline which I did, the airline said they can't refund me and only the agency can refund me as I did not buy directly from them! And now opodo will not answer their calls for 5 days.. Never again will I use opodo!

non existent customer service

i have been complaining about a flight i took since December 2019 with NO satisfactory explanation what went wrong, every time i leave a review opodo say they will contact me but still NO luck yet,
Why do you NOT want to talk to your valued customers opodo??

Confused Opodo customer

I made a booking with Opodo and received an email back saying that the booking which included two pieces of luggage was being processed, however no confirmation was sent. 24hours later I received a second email saying that the initial price had increased and the currency had also changed from euros to sterling pounds. When I contacted Opodo they said that the new price did not cover the luggage and they had no records of the initial email they sent which quoted the price in euros. I cancelled the booking and I await a refund.

one of the worst company i have ever…

one of the worst company i have ever dealt with. i had to contact my bank for refund. Once they received the payment the system went bad. no one could see what was happening with my money supposedly to refunded. wont recommend. repeatedly called the agents from India wont give their names or employ number.

Refund and compensation

Finally after absolutely appalling service and a very long fight to get my money back ...one month later Opodo have refunded 80% of my flight costs back as per their TOB and given me £100 compensation. Thank you

Then had a reply, advise an agent would contact me privately. Indeed I did get a private message from a robot, who keeps informing me a human will be contact soon. Eventually when i make contact with a human they ask one question and disappear, Have now spent the last hour being asked the same question ! please confirm email

Absolutely awful, Have never experience customer services like this, After my flight was cancelled from Tokyo to Hiroshima, I contact them to rearrange my flight, everything seem ok at first, I was total it was pass on the right department and to expect an e mail, with details to rearrange the flight, I should receive with in the next 6 hours.

12 hours later called again, Was greeted by a very rude member of the team, who told me i was lying and the flight was planned to take off, even though the flight was scheduled early that day and had pass, who then cut me off,

Called back, was total it was being dealt with, it can take up to 24hours, please wait

24 hours later, Nothing, Called again,

Spoke with a gentleman, who advised me this should have not happed he will now deal with case , put me on hold, he then advise me he need to make a few phone call to get this arrange, can he call me back in 2 hours, with all the details and new flight plan,

3 hours later, Nothing, called back to which this time, I was total there was no record of the flight, I asked to speak the supervisor, who could not be found, i then asked for a refund to which i was total the refund office was busy, he then said he would get his supervisor, which he then put me on hold and cut me off.

In total i have spent over 6 hours on the line, with no flight to show for it,
They are actually breaking the law by not providing a new flight, I have asked a lawyer friend for legal advise,
Create a paper Trail and record all your calls with this company

I made a booked for a tomorrow flight and I didn't get a conformation yet they said you have to wait 24 hour!
you have to download a messenger application to chatting with a robot with no answer !
No email for customer service!!
No way to contact human customer service !!

I spoke to Tania who was extremely helpful and dealt with my enquiry in a very professional manner and ensured me with assurance and confidence which enabled and encouraged me to make this booking for my travels to Istanbul.

Really bad experience with this…

Really bad experience with this company! Booked flights to Orlando for 4 people. They couldn’t secure the booking with the airline and 3 days after I’m still waiting for them to refund me the money so Incam book something else. When you email their customer service you get standard email replies without them even bothering to check what has happened. They keep telling me I have not been charged ! Had to send them a copy of the bank statement!!! Still no resolution. Absolutely disgusted with their service!!!

Stay away from this company

Terrible company. They took money out of my account and didn't book a return flight from Tenerife. The outgoing flight was booked and non refundable. No complaints procedure or very complicated. 20 pounds spent on phone calls and promises of refund not kept. Had to get money back from my visa company. Please stay away from this company

Terrible non existant after sales service

Do not book with this company at all. I've been trying to fix a problem with my flight and they haven't answered the phone yet after 3 hours of waiting on hold. I've e-mailed, I've tweeted and sent them a message on Facebook and they have failed to reply to anything. AVOID
