I dont get why people are calling this dogshit or straight up garbage, but ive been using ts for around 4 years now, and Id say that the features are really rich with highly customizable experience. I can add custom keyboard sounds, bg musics and mods which looks quite well. And the sidebar of opera gx allows efficient and effective way to access your messengers and stuff. I personally think that people who are experiencing "bug" these being features not working properly or other things is just due to device or network issue.

i don't understand why people hate it. its so good it keeps your taps open even after it gets closed + you can change your wall paper

i used it for like 2 years and my review is that

uses more resources than chrome, full to the brim with useless slop that slows down the browser, looks and feels like shit to use

just go to brave or vivaldi, dont waste time on this

(and yes i know about the recent video that came out, ive just been a hater of their practices for years)

Works pretty much perfectly for me, been using it for a few years now.
Bloated with features but the only one I use is limiting ram usage and it works well

Bugs, fake "private" vpn, "gaming browser" focused on high performance - with low performance, chinese spyware, buying users by pretending to be a gaming browser. No one in their right mind should be tempted by this thing, just because many YouTubers or streamers are sponsored by it.

I have been using Opera GX for over 2 years, and during this time, my CPU has reached up to 90 degrees Celsius. So, I decided to open Chrome, and it was only at 60 degrees Celsius, which makes me feel somewhat sad and angry at the same time, because it's such a good company, but I can't use it because my CPU will get overheated. Therefore, I can only give it 1 star.

It's insane that they advertise futuristic improvements, but fail to be able to connect your account on your phone, furthermore I can't connect my flow with the QR code or with the manual code. They started of great with the functions actually working, but now it feels like a high school project.

The interface is terrible, it uses a lot of memory, and on top of that there are a ton of errors, simply garbage.

Bugs are multiplying not worth it anymore if you are looking for something reliable shame...

Used to be good, getting worse. Barely can load pages now without opening a parallel tab with the same site. Should be a DNS cachiing setting but none of them work. No choice but go back to chrome. Also chrome can group tabs now that Opera can't do.

I've got to say I am in love with this browser. I have yet to experience any of the bugs I've seen listed here by other people. It's unintrusive and fast as far as I've seen of it, and the customization possibilities are great. I've tried Opera in the past but never took to it, but Opera GX is something else. The soothing, reactive background music (Evolve) alone makes me just want to sit here forever and type things. It actually does focus my mind and takes me to unexpected places. The only fault I see with this music is that it can't be turned up slightly more than the current max level. So far I simply love this browser

Using operagx since a couple of years and now I am just tired of all the issues it has... creating a lot of random "scoped_dir" directories all over my ssd, unable to download from mega.nz because of missing space... but i have a lot of free space. To many issues, this app is really trash and i can tell it to you because I used it for years as primary browser just to have social apps on the sidebar... Random crshes, out of memory issues, eating a lot of ram... just use chrome! Worst browser with so many problems and stability issues... the fact that I downloaded a 2GB file from mega and was simply unable to save the file on my ssd was enough to uninstall this trash, sorry. I am so angry now because after one hour trying to free up some space on my ssd that literally has enough space to download this file... but opera tells that the archiving space for mega.nz is full... HOW IF I HAVE ENOUGH SPACE... HOW CAN A FOLDER BE FULL!!! I am tired now, moving to chrome and writing this review... stay away from this broken browser!
