The yacht from hell

I have been on several yacht trips in Kuwait and UAE and never experienced something like this. The experience with this company was awful. First, we were never allowed to see the yacht before we paid, even thoughwe kept asking. They sent pictures of yacht that looked like ours, but was in better shape. It was for my 60th milestone birthday. So we paid 105kd for 3 hours, 160kd for food 80kd per 10 people and we had 20 people that said they were coming. Also, we paid 36kd for balloons, decorations, cake, dj, and laser.

Let's start with the yacht, it was named The Pro Club yacht, it should have been called, The Old and Dirty Club. The yacht was old and dirty in areas. The windshield on the middle deck was cracked, there was a cracked window on the side of the yacht, broken chair, and a torn, dirty, and wet mat on the top of the boat. We had to ask for them to put something over it, because no one wanted to sit on the mat. The bathroom wasn't clean, my guest refused to use it, and the captain's seat on the middle deck was dirty and dusty, it hadn't been cleaned. There was a part of the flooring on the lower deck that made you think you were going to fall through the yacht. You could tell from the wood the yacht was very old. It looked like the 2 tvs didn't work, there were tv wires hanging and the tvs look old and outdated as well. Overall, the yacht was in horrible conditions, except for the seating area it was ok. My guest said let's make the best of it, because they knew I was embarrassed and humiliated.

The 36kd, they did get a nice cake after we demanded it. But, there were no decorations, candles, dj, or ice. I guess the boom box was the laser. They did put balloons.

I ask for receipts for the food, but never received them so from the 160kd, they spent approximately 95kd, food from Mais Alghanim, we had to demand they get it from there, so there is money unaccounted for as well.

Do not trust this company, demand to see the yacht before you pay. Don't go by the pictures they send you, they are misleading, false advertisement, and deceptive. I truly believe they make you pay upfront, because they know if you see the yacht you would not pay for it. Had we seen the yacht before hand we would have never paid for it.

We did WhatsApp the company about it, but because we didn't take pictures and they said the captain said everything was fine, we lost out. The captain and the other guy looked like someone off the streets. No one ever told us anything about life jackets. As I told them your captain's expectations, style, and level of class is very different from mine. At the end of the day, I would not recommend using this company for anything. Do not believe what they say, without seeing it for yourself.
