Simply amazing! First, I decided to order 1 ooia, just to give it a try. After I wore it once during my period the first thing that came to my mind, why was this not available when I was 13? Periods could have been so much more comfortable for all these years...oh well. I'm really glad I found ooia now though! Ooias are so comfortable, soft, stay dry, keeping them clean is not complicated at all, i love them so much! They breath so especially during the summer months they are so much more comfortable! I love the different styles, colours, you just have to be careful before you get them all ;)
Also, it's great that finally I am not creating a mountain of trash with every single period.
The only thing I would say is regarding the size, the different cuts can feel smaller or larger, for example for me 32-34 hipster is perfect but 36 for the slip. But exchanging for another size was so simple and easy too! So don't worry if you don't get it right the first time around.
I just would like to say thank you so much ooia for creating these wonders and also for being a company that you are! Caring, ethical. It's so nice to see it's not just the product and its sales what matters. There is so much more. Thank you again!

I recently found this company through Instagram. They seemed very sympathetic and their product seemed like a good buy. So I bought three of their period panties in two different models. Overall I'm quite happy with my purchase, but to help you figure out better if this product is for you I'm gonna give you my pros and contras.

Pro:

Function -
This product does exactly what it is supposed to do. No complains at all.

Comfort -
The fabric feels great. It almost feels like a normal panties. Finally something that does not irritate my sensitive skin down there. It does not at all feel like a diaper, don't worry. I actually find it even less bulky then pads. This product actually sits nice were it's supposed to be.

Transparency -
You will actually know what is used in the production of this product, were it got produced and even were the materials come from.

Variety -
There's not that many styles, but the ones they have are quite different from each other, so that everyone should be able to find something they like.

Sustainability -
The production is done completely within Europe, to keep the emissions from transport low. The fabrics are also from within Europe. Only factories with ecological and ethical fair working conditions are used for the production.

Bulk Discount -
You will need several of these if you want to get away from single use products completely, if you buy more then 3 or more than 5 you'll get a discount.

Understandable -
The website is written in an easily understandable way. Also the website is available in English as well, for people that can't speak German.

Cleaning -
Just rinse them and than wash them with your other stuff. Easy. They also sent you instructions for this with the product.

Contra:

Price -
Ooias are only supposed to be used as period panties for about two years and maximum 12 hours at a time. When you like me have only light period leaks you won't save money with those. Single use sanitary products would cost me about 85 € in two years, where as Ooias will cost you minimum 100 €. Also compared to other companies those seem a bit pricier, as most companies I have checked allow you to use your panties for longer.

Shipping -
Each product will be sent as soon as it is available. So when you buy several and one is out of stock you'll automatically get two packages. This is not really sustainable.

Fit -
The size varies. I bought the size that was suggested to me on the website. I can fit in, but it is definitely tighter than my normal panties (I heard other people say theirs are kinda loose). Also the two panties I have in the same style are slightly different size.
Also not sure if this is because mine are kinda tight, they don't really sit how you would expect. It's not terrible, but just a bit off. Especially my seamless hipster is VERY low cut.
There also is a bit more fabric in the membrane that at least I can comfortably fit between my legs. Overall it would just be nice if this could still be improved to fit better (on bigger sizes).

I love OOHIA...

I ordered a month ago and I still haven't received my order... the most annoying part is that I also didn't receive any proper timeline for when my order is supposed to arrive. I wouldn't order there again, I don't mind waiting but this is ridiculous. Too bad...

For a mom to be who is not able to leave the house at the moment, plus there is pandemic, the only option that remains is purchasing online and having it delivered. So I am forced to place an order for 5 EUR just to learn that your products are not of good quality but feel like plastic and then print an email (which century do you live in???), and pay another 5 EUR to send it back. I do not consider this acceptable service in the 21st century neither an adequate support of your target group that is put into a financially difficult situation anyhow already. To sum it up: Overpriced, and absolutely in rage for having paid 10 EUR for the worst experience in the last months. Will certainly tell my girlfriends being pregnant looking for a suitable bra that ooia is not an option. Maybe instead of investing so much in social media marketing, think about where that money would be better invested.

What a product!? Absolutely recommending as that’s the different quality of living. Delivery was a bit late sometimes, but I could imagine they have lots of orders to take ;)

Thoughtful communication, thoughtful (environmentally friendly) packaging and shipping materials, and high quality products - highly recommended!

I expected more than this.
For the price and the reviews, I thought I have finally found a product that will make me ditch all the other options available in the market. Unfortunately, that’s not the case. I would definitely not recommend it to anyone with heavy flow unless you use it in addition to sanitary pads/tampons.
On the upside, might be a good option to use on the last days when the flow is not so heavy.
